Obama Frees Al-Qaeda Prisoner Deemed “Too Dangerous To Be Released” From Gitmo

Sadly, it appears that Obama has made a decision that is sure to result in American bloodshed.  A terrorist prisoner in Guantanamo Bay Naval base is set to be released that Obama’s own Gitmo parole board deemed “too dangerous to be released,” just a few years ago.  Although the Al-Qaeda member was to be imprisoned for the duration of his life, he is now set to be released to his home country of Yemen.

According to a Defense document, Mahmud Abd Al Aziz Al Mujahid:
“is a committed jihadist who received theological training from, and was recruited by, radical Yemeni shaykhs who continue to recruit Yemeni youth to participate in hostilities against US and coalition forces. Detainee’s assessed commitment to jihadis supported by his discussions with another JTF-GTMO detainee on methods to conduct suicide during detention.”
Mujahid travelled to Afghanistan for Jihad back in 1999 or 2000 after being recruited in Yemen where he received combat training at the Al Qaeda al-Faruq training camp.  Throughout his short-live terroristic career, Mujahid developed a network of likeminded people.  He was known to be a body guard for Osama bin Laden himself, as well as have ties to other Al-Qaeda members, “including other bin Laden bodyguards and Gitmo detainees.”
