Experts desperate to keep flying carp out of the Great Lakes
reproducing by the millions and eating many of the native species there are more flying carp in the Illinois river, than in the rest of the world. Estimated up to 6000 fish per mile

 THE  STORY HERE  IS ABOUT FISHING, BUT NOT THE KIND SO MANY OF US GREW UP WITH WHERE YOU ACTUALLY HAD TO WAIT ALL DAY IN SOME CASES TO CATCH THE FISH. THIS IS THE KIND OF FISHING WHERE THE FISH COME TO YOU, THE KIND OF FISH THAT JUMP INTO YOUR BOAT. IT'S NOT A GOOD THING EITHER AS THESE FISH HAVE BEEN CALLED THE LOCUSTS OF OUR WATERWAYS. OUR REPORT IS FROM  A TRIP UP THE ILLINOIS RIVER THAT QUICKLY MORPHS INTO A FULL-BLOWN FISH FLYING FRENZY.  THE AIRBORNE PROJECTILES? ASIAN CARP.
