Smash them, melt them down, hide them in a warehouse somewhere, remove them where they will never be seen again. Do it all BUT,.. remember, you can remove everything but you can NEVER CHANGE THE ACTUAL, REAL, HISTORY...!!! All this because it "BOTHERS" black people to see them, "reminds them of SLAVERY"

AUSTIN (KXAN) — State Rep. Eric Johnson, D-Dallas, confirmed the removal of the "Children of the Confederacy Creed" plaque Sunday.  ( looks really proud of himself...doesn't he ? }

In a release, his office wrote that the plaque was removed from the wall where it hung inside of the Texas Capitol for 60 years.

Calls for the plaque's removal began over a year ago and were first voiced by Rep. Johnson.

The Texas State Preservation Board voted Friday to remove the plaque. Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and the newly-elected Speaker of the House, Dennis Bonnen are members of the preservation board.

It is unknown if/where the plaque will be relocated.
