A woman tired of waiting for a train to pass at this crossing wound up badly injuring her leg.

A Pennsylvania woman nearly lost her leg after she tried to get past a slow-moving freight train.

 

The incident played out Friday morning around 7:30 as a train passed Auburn Street near Basin Street in Allentown.

The woman, growing weary of standing around while the train passed, crawled underneath a tanker car [ as it was moving] in an attempt to get to the other side, said Allentown Police.
