ANOTHER COVER UP ?? Does This Administration Tell The Truth About Anything ?

Uncovering the Camp Bastion Cover-Up

Michelle Malkin | Jun 21, 2013
All it takes is one crack for a stone wall to start crumbling. Nine months after the deadly 9/14 raid on Camp Bastion in Afghanistan, the families of two fallen Marines may finally get some answers. Real accountability, of course, is another story.
A formal internal investigation into lax security at the base -- a British-run NATO compound that adjoins our Marines' Camp Leatherneck -- is now under way. A few members of Congress are putting pressure on the administration for the truth. And a couple of mainstream reporters are digging deeper.
More, please. And faster. Camp Bastion belongs in the bloody scandal lexicon with Benghazi and Fast and Furious. This trio of national security disasters under the Obama administration didn't just involve run-of-the-mill corruption and cover-ups. It cost American lives  View Full Article

Obama's Cluelessness Displayed on the World Stage

back to his pictures on every article

It's as if President Obama believes he's still in the faculty lounge at Harvard glamorizing leftist ideals, seemingly oblivious that he is actually president now and that his duties require him to work on truly pressing matters instead of fantasizing about Utopia.
He is finally approaching the hot seat. Endless scandals are dogging his Teflon. The young voter demographic is going south on him. The foreign media are lampooning him. The economy still tanks.        View Full Article

Obama’s ‘Oganizing For Action’ PAC Holds Gun Control Rally: 3 People Show Up
How wouldyou feel if you threw a party and nobody came? Or, if you threw a gun-control rally and only three people showed up? Ouch, right? That’s exactly what happened in San Bernadino last week.
From TheSun.com: Exactly six months after the Sandy Hook shooting, a group from Organizing for Action (whose URL begins with barackobama.com, by the way) stood here Friday with 26 flags and signs calling for stricter gun control.
“On Flag Day growing up, I used to always wave a flag with my grandson, and it hit me that the victims of that horrible tragedy won’t ever be able to do that,” said Curtis Lewis, the group’s gun violence prevention coordinator. “We need people to stand up and write to Congress to say they want laws that respect the Second Amendment but also help prevent these tragedies.”
Fortunately, they will only need three stamps to mail those letters. (P.S. Curtis; you waved those flags on Flag Day to celebrate freedom and individual liberty.)
Lewis said he supported HR 1565, a bill that would require background checks for sales at gun shows and online, “close the gun show and other loopholes,” and create a commission to study the causes of mass violence in the United States. (I bet if they begin their “study” by looking into drug-gang violence in Chicago, they can save themselves a whole lot of time and money.)
The protest drew three members of Organizing for Action, a “nonprofit group” (PAC) that supports Obama’s agenda, to the National Orange Show Events Center.

“It’s three people today, but it will be 23 next time, and we’ll see the time after that,” Lewis said.
Wow, Curtis, a whole 23? Shoot for the moon next time, dude. (No pun intended

In a heated discussion about the Senate’s immigration reform bill on Hannity Thursday, Michelle Malkin said promises of tougher border security are nothing more than “empty gestures.” The Senate’s agreement to double the number of border patrol agents, expand border fencing and improve technologies does nothing to convince Malkin that the bill is something other than mass amnesty, and will somehow result in less rather than more illegal immigration.
“I reject the premise of ‘secure the border first.’ I hate these platitudes. It’s secure the border period, because the constitution says…that it is the duty of the federal government not only to provide for the common defense but to secure the states against invasion, and they’ve failed and failed and failed to do that job,” she said.

Shouldn't it be about border security ? In other countries, illegals would be "deported, imprisoned or possibly killed". We have over 11 million illegals in this country the gov. wants to give amnesty . Shouldn't the borders be closed? and at least the criminal element, be deported to thier country of origion? How many illegals from other countries could/can be filtering up through Mexico? INCLUDING TERRORISTS?

Immigration Debate is All About Border Security

Seventy percent of Americans oppose the barely visible military support the Obama administration last week promised the Syrian rebels. Seventy percent! I doubt if such a large figure could quickly be gotten up in favor of free lemonade on the 4th of July.
The public, according to Pew, feared the rebels might be no better than the government; in which case, why were we helping them? The New York Times itself -- house organ for the administration -- expressed uneasiness "about getting pulled into yet another war in the Middle East,"tentatively, hesitantly in Syria. What contributes even more to it, I would say, is Barack Obama's failure over the past five years to explain what he sees as America's position in the world.
I would venture a reason for that omission: He doesn't seem to know what that position ought to be.
The United States has never had such a non-foreign policy as it has presently tend to gaze at it in befuddlement. What is our national interest? We never hear the question raised anymore, not since the George W. Bush administration. The American interest, according to Bush, was the implantation of democracy in the soil of autocracy, so that good and generally peaceful behavior might flourish where hatred and oppression had been more common.View Full Article

The Amnesty Mob vs. America

Michelle Malkin | Jun 19, 2013

You can try to put "conservative" lipstick on the lawless amnesty mob. In the end, however, it's still a lawless mob. The big government/big business alliance to protect illegal immigration got a lot of mileage using foolish Republicans Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan as front men. But the true colors of the open-borders grievance-mongers always show through.
After America said no to a pork-filled security-undermining amnesty bill in 2007, the No Illegal Alien Left Behind lobbyists changed their overtly thuggish tactics. They put down their upside-down American flags, stopped wearing their commie Che Guevara T-shirts and cloaked their radical "Aztlan" aspirations in the less divisive rhetoric of "reform" and "opportunity."
It was all just an act, of course. Inevitably, the mask has slipped. Over the weekend, illegal alien protesters descended on the private residence of Kansas Secretary of State and immigration enforcement lawyer Kris Kobach. As Twitchy.com reported on Saturday, 300 amnesty activists marched into Kobach's neighborhood and barged up his driveway and right onto his doorstep. It's how the Alinskyite "community organizers" roll.

WHY ??

Why is every article that even mentions Obama ACCOMPANIED BY HIS PICTURE ?    I for one am tired of his FACE!!!

In the wake of recent events, many people of a variety of persuasions are coming to agree that the First Amendment, which protects and ensures our first freedoms is facing an all-out attack.
The IRS has been bullying groups who sought to advance a message and perspective that the government didn’t like or want around. The latest example includes startling audio of an IRS agent lecturing a non-profit organization about placing boundaries on her religious activities if she wants to gain a tax exemption. Far from the “live and let live” attitude feigned by many in leadership today, the government’s deliberate, targeted scrutiny and intimidation of groups who aren’t favored by the current political regime demonstrates their true feelings about respecting all viewpoints. At the altar of a particular government agenda, freedom of speech is sacrificed.
But the attack on First Amendment freedoms does not end with intimidation to suppress speech or control the press.

Obama ‘Strongly Objects’ to Religious Liberty Amendment

The Obama Administration “strongly objects” to a proposed amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that would have protected the religious rights of soldiers – including evangelical Christian service members who are facing growing hostility towards their religion. The amendment was authored by Rep. John Fleming, R-La. It would have “required the Armed Forces to accommodate ‘actions and speech’ reflecting the conscience, moral, principles or religious beliefs of the member.

IT GETS WORSE........don't have to prove citizenship to vote ??

Court: Ariz. citizenship proof law illegal

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court ruled Monday that states cannot require would-be voters to prove they are U.S. citizens before using a federal registration system designed to make signing up easier.

The justices voted 7-2 to throw out Arizona's voter-approved requirement that prospective voters document their U.S. citizenship in order to use a registration form produced under the federal "Motor Voter" voter registration law.

Federal law "precludes Arizona from requiring a federal form applicant to submit information beyond that required by the form itself," Justice Antonia Scalia wrote for the court's majority.

The court was considering the legality of Arizona's requirement that prospective voters document their U.S. citizenship in order to use a registration form produced under the federal "motor voter" registration law. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said that the National Voter Registration Act of 1993, which doesn't require such documentation, trumps Arizona's Proposition 200 passed in 2004.

Arizona appealed that decision to the Supreme Court

14-year-old at the center of "NRA T-Shirt Controversy" now facing possibility of 1 year in jail

Suspended and arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt. Today, 14-year-old Jared Marcum appeared before a judge and was officially charged with obstructing an officer
  • A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's the penalty that Jared could face, now that a judge has allowed the prosecution to move forward with it's obstructing an officer charge against him.

"Me, I'm more of a fighter and so is Jared and eventually we're going to get through this," Jared's father Allen Lardieri said.  "I don't think it should have ever gotten this far."

The Logan County Police Department initially claimed that the at-the-time 8th grade Logan Middle School student was arrested for disturbing the education process, obstructing an officer and Lardieri says that officers even went as far as threatening to charge Jared with making terroristic threats.

"In my view of the facts, Jared didn't do anything wrong," Ben White, Jared's attorney said.  "I think officer Adkins could have done something differently."

Prosecuting attorney Michael White refused to respond to any questions, as did Logan Police.

We obtained official court documents from both sides of this case.  On one hand, the arresting officer from the Logan City Police Department, James Adkins, claims that when Jared refused to stop talking, that hindered his ability to do his job, hence, the obstruction charge.  On the other side, Ben White points out that nowhere in the arresting officer's petition, does it mention Jared ever making any threats or acting in a violent manner.

"Every aspect of this is just totally wrong," Lardieri said.  "He has no background of anything criminal, up until now and it just seems like nobody wants to admit they're wrong."

Ben White says he will continue working to have the charges against Jared dismissed.  If that doesn't happen in the coming weeks, Jared will be back in court on July 11th

If this were a school student, he would have been suspended and/or possibly in jail
