Feinstein: People Will Die if Government Shuts Down But I Might Vote to Shut It Down Anyway....Katie Pavlich   1/19/2018

Yesterday Democrats admitted their goal is to shut down the government in an effort to use the move against Republicans for the 2018-midterm elections.

Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein issued a dire warning Thursday evening that a government shutdown will lead to people dying (not true) and other terrible things.
"Shutting down the government is a very serious thing. People die, accidents happen. You don't know. Necessary functions can cease," Feinstein told CNN. "There is no specific list you can look at and make a judgment: 'Well everything is going to be just fine.'
You can't make that judgment. So, I think it's a last resort. And I'm really hopeful we don't get to it."

"Over the past year, the Democrats have shown no genuine interest in working with President Trump or the Republican majority in Congress on any issue. The truth is that the Democrats desperately want a government shutdown.

Hey Republicans, if you want to avoid a government shutdown, it's time to go it alone without Democrats  foxnews.com

It’s time for Republicans in the U.S. House to take decisive action without delay on the issues of immigration reform and government funding that will prevent a government shutdown Friday night.
The House should debate and vote on a two-year budget bill backed by the White House that increases military funding. It should do the same on the Securing America’s Future Act introduced by Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va.
As the immigration and budget negotiations unfold, the conservative majority in the House should not sit idly by and play victim. Over the past year, the Democrats have shown no genuine interest in working with President Trump or the Republican majority in Congress on any issue. The truth is that the Democrats desperately want a government shutdown.
"Here is the reality: Democrats are scared to death that a Republican Congress and a Republican president may actually effect some reform of our flawed immigration system." — Liz Peek  Fox News

Democrats are threatening to shut down the federal government, refusing to pass a spending bill unless it contains a path to legal status for the so-called “Dreamers” protected under President Obama’s DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program.
Are the Democrats really concerned with the status of these young people brought to the U.S. illegally as children, or with reforming our broken immigration system? No. They are trying to score political points.

WATCH: Dick Durbin Says Who He’s Working For Full Time — It’s Not Americans   January 18, 2018
Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin said on Monday that his role in the United States Senate where he makes $174,000 per year — is working “full time” for the rights of illegal aliens in the U S
Durbin made the comments in response to a reporter who pointed out that Durbin’s colleagues claim he is lying about the private White House meeting he had with President Trump — something he has a history of doing.
“Listen, politics ain’t beanbag. When you get into tough, complicated, contentious issues, sometimes rhetoric gets very fiery,” Durbin said. “If you don’t have a tough skin, this is not a good business to get into. I know what happened. I stand behind every word that I said in terms of that meeting.”
Durbin then revealed that he is spending all of his time working for illegal aliens and not for the hard-working Americans who elected him to public office.
“I’m focused on one thing — not that meeting — but on making sure that those who are being protected by DACA and eligible for the DREAM Act have a future in America,” Durbin continued. “I am focused on that full time.”

So.... the origion of the Trump dossier gets stranger and stranger. If obama was indeed involved or at least knew about it as a sitting president, then some charges need to be filed, and soon.... Is our whole political system CORRUPT ?

What Everyone Won’t Say About Trump Dossier: Timeline Suggests It Was Crafted by FBI/DOJ Personnel     westernfreepress.com

The Trump dossier was not the work of Christopher Steele. He was rather the means whereby an investigation already begun by the weaponized counterintelligence…

The Trump dossier continues to be the single biggest news story of any given day—though many people ignore it—even as the news media writ large focuses on anything and everything besides the information that has been uncovered to date about the scurrilous Democrat opposition research document and how and why it was compiled. Even conservative news outlets like Fox News, or news talk radio shows, who have been covering it, seem to be missing what the obvious circumstantial evidentiary timeline clearly makes plain: the dossier was not solely the original work of Christopher Steele, a former MI-6 agent, he was rather the means whereby an investigation already begun by the weaponized counterintelligence unit of the FBI, in tandem with Fusion GPS, could legitimize, and give “independent” confirmation of, illegal surveillance of members of Trump’s campaign team. This bolstered their case before the FISA courts, when they had their surveillance retroactively made “legal”, and gave a measure of credence to the Russia/Trump collusion narrative they created, and thus the means for a legitimate investigation, which is currently ongoing.
What follows is a timeline of events that draw their source from the public record. I did not do most of this initial research, rather it comes from a conservative blogger who goes by sundance, and whose research on the topic is quite extensive and highly recommended. I have added to it, and am going to lay out the timeline of events, with linked material, so that the reader can decide for themselves the veracity of the account presented. The circumstantial evidence to date suggests the most damning case against the Counter Intelligence Divison within the FBI, along with then-Director James Comey, and elements with the  Department of Justice (DOJ) and their National Security Division (NDS), in an effort to spy on Trump that was not so much pro-Clinton, as it was anti-Trump. This group of people did not want Trump. Period! The direct political motivations may or may not have been there for them, though it is apparent they were for then-President Obama—if it can be proven he was actively involved—who would have known all of what went on in 2016, though maybe not details—and there is much to suggest that he knew about all of it.

Why do we need a border wall and border control

Illegal Luis Bracamontes Laughs in Court, Says Wished He’d Killed More than 2 Cops    By   Posted January 17, 2018

Luis Bracamontes, 37, is an illegal Mexican who has been deported twice before, and is an alleged member of the Sinaloa Drug Cartel. On Tuesday, he appeared in court for the murders of two California Deputies that occurred in October, 2014. He is also known as Marcelo Marquez. He apparently thought the whole proceeding was funny.

His own defense attorneys stated that he’s guiltyf the murders, but they believe he is insane. He has been examined by mental health officials previously. They found him competent to stand trial, even though he “does have a mental disorder.” He believes he is “invincible.” The defense asked the judge to set aside that determination, but the motion was denied.
According to the Sacramento Bee, as the prosecutor issued his opening statement describing the six hour crime spree in which the two officers were murdered, Bracamonte interrupted.
“I wish I had killed more of the mother——-…
I will break out soon and I will kill more, kill whoever gets in front of me … There’s no need for a f—— trial.” Bracamontes said in court as he smiled and laughed.

The judge temporarily removed the jury from the courtroom and admonished Bracamontes not to disrupt the trial.
“You will not disrupt this trial, you will not speak out. If you do, you will be removed from the courtroom.” Judge Steve White

Luis Monroy Bracamontes is from Sinaloa, Mexico. He has been deported twice.
Bracamontes is accused of murdering Sacramento Deputy Danny Oliver and Placer County Deputy Michael Davis in a crime spree which included wounding another officer, Jeff Davis, a car owner, and ingesting copious amounts of Methamphetamine and Marijuana. Defense attorneys are hoping the ingestion of the drugs will help their client in the penalty phase.
Will his outbursts in court help the prosecution or the defense? It is California, after all.
Bracamontes is not the only one on trial. His wife, Janelle Marquez Monroy, 38, is charged as his accomplice in the carjacking, and attempted murder. She is being tried under a separate jury. The Defense attorneys are portraying her as the victim of a crazy person, someone who was afraid of him. The prosecution says that she was in on it “all along.”
Deportation in which a suspect just ends up back in the country again is a travesty that costs the lives, not only of law enforcement, but of U.S. citizens. If Bracamontes is convicted, he could face the death penalty. Of course, he believes he is invincible.

10 Thoughts on the President and the 'S---hole Countries'

10 Thoughts on the President and the 'S---hole Countries'

Here are 10 thoughts on the president's alleged use of the word "s---hole" in describing Haiti, a Central American country and African countries:

1. There are few filters between President Donald Trump's mind and mouth. That is his
appeal and his weakness. It is very common that a person's strengths are also weaknesses. I wish Trump's tweets and comments were as forthright -- as un-P.C. -- as they are now but stated in a sophisticated way. I also wish that cheesecake were not fattening. But just as cheesecake comes with sugar, Donald Trump comes with unsophisticated rhetoric. People are packages, not a la carte menus
.

2. As a rule, a president of the United States should not label countries, let alone continents, "s---holes." I don't know what word the president actually used, but had he used the word "dysfunctional" instead of "s---hole," that actually might have been a service to the people of many of these countries. I have been to 20 African countries. Corruption is Africa's greatest single problem. That's why those who truly care about Africans, many of whom are terrific people, need to honestly describe the moral state of many or most African countries. What benefit is it to honest, hardworking Africans or Latin Americans or others to deny the endemic corruption of these societies?

As Guatemalan columnist Claudia Nunez wrote on Trump in the Guatemalan newspaper Siglio 21: "The epithets he uses to describe certain groups are unfortunate and exemplify the decadence of the current political scene. But he has also said things that are true, for example, that it is we citizens of migration countries who have accommodated ourselves to the need to export people, as we have calmly allowed excessive levels of corruption to grow for decades."

One late nite "host" in particular is downright ridiculous, SETH MEYERS spends the first 10-15 minutes BASHING Trump....not funny at all

Jay Leno Says Late-Night Is No Longer Entertaining As Became A ‘Depressing’ Anti-Trump Bashfest
January 12 at 6:30am

The good ol’ days of late-night hosts like Johnny Carson who always managed to put laughs above politics have long spiraling our culture into oblivion, leaving us with a array of partisan hacks who confuse progressive talking points for a witty joke.
The last of these former late-night hosts, Jay Leno, senses an imbalance in the comedy Force. When being interviewed with The Hollywood Reporter, Leno announced that late-night comedy has turned into a “depressing” anti-Trump bashfest that suppress the intellect and leaves our escapist passions wanting.
“Late-night has always been pretty topical,” Leno said. “The only trouble is now everyone has the same topic. It’s all depressing Trump stuff.”
