Prosecutors Say No Evidence Kyle Rittenhouse Committed A Crime In Illinois - The Police Tribune

Lake County, IL – The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office said Tuesday that it will not levy gun charges against 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse in connection with the gun he used during the Jacob Blake riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The state’s attorney’s office said in a statement on Oct. 14 that the Antioch police had investigated and determined that the rifle Rittenhouse used to shoot three rioters on Aug. 25 was purchased, stored, and used in Wisconsin, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Prosecutors said there was no evidence that the 17 year old ever had the gun in Illinois and therefore, no state laws were violated.

Wisconsin authorities havmeanor charge for possession of a dangerous weapon by a minor, WERE reported.e charged Rittenhouse with five felony charges including first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, and a misdemeanor.

• Months after the alleged meeting, Biden - who was Vice President at the time- pressured Ukrainian officials to fire a prosecutor who was investigating Pozharskyi
• If true, it represents a huge conflict of interest and possible law break, given Biden's son Hunter was being paid $50,000-a-month by Pozharskyi's firm 
• The Post published its story on Wednesday with screenshots of the emails
• Biden's campaign afterwards said the meeting never took place and that he has never been 
• Facebook, on Wednesday, said it would stop the story from being shared until it had been vetted 
• It has partnerships with dozens of third-party fact checkers, the identities of which are largely unknown 
• Many asked why Facebook was entitled to call into question the Post's reporting 
• Critics accused the company of election interference and of protecting Biden

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Aurora police had their man cornered. On Sept. 24 they responded to a home in the Conservatory neighborhood for what they described as a “felony child abuse investigation.” They said the homeowner, Eric Burns, 39, “had a valid misdemeanor no bond DV (domestic violence) warrant out of Denver.” Additionally, APD believed Burns had assaulted his son and abused his daughter.

 “After four hours and that kind of police response you kind of assume it’s ending with them taking somebody into custody. Pretty surprising that after that kind of response and that kind of action that there wasn’t an arrest made.”

The department declined to be interviewed but released a statement saying, “Members of our community and across the nation have made it very clear that they want their police department to respond differently to some incidents, particularly when there is a possibility of using serious force against a subject.” The statement went on to say “avoiding unnecessary confrontations was now a top priority for the department.”
