Mind you, these are only cars used by the city of Paris and not personal vehicles.

They all have the same problem,.... the battery storage cells have gone and need to be replaced.

Why don't you just replace them?

Firstly, the batteries cost almost double what the car costs new, and secondly, no landfill or waste processor will allow the batteries to be disposed of there.

So these green electric fairy tale cars are all on set-aside grounds while their batteries drain toxic substances to the ground.

“Much of the media would have you believe that the upcoming elections are really just about personalities. Who’s more empathetic? Who’s more dignified? Who’s more likable?”

“The truth is, Americans won’t just be voting for a particular candidate Nov. 3, they will be choosing what kind of country they want to live in, work in, and raise their families in. They’ll be deciding what kind of America they believe in.”

“As you go to the polls, ask yourself these questions:”

“Which America do you want to live in? One that upholds your right to freedom of speech and religious beliefs? Or an America that says only certain views are acceptable in the public square, and shames, bullies, and cancels those who disagree?”

“What kind of America do you want to work in? One like we had before the pandemic hit, when more Americans than ever said they were better off financially than they were just a year ago? Or one that insists we return to more taxes, regulations, and mandates on both individuals and businesses?”

“What kind of America will you feel safest in? One that honors and respects our law enforcement officers for putting their lives on the line to keep our streets safe? Or an America that calls for defunding the police and permits lawlessness and chaos in our neighborhoods?”

“Do you prefer a country that upholds America’s values on the world stage or one that sells them out to garner approval from international elites at the United Nations or the World Health Organization?”

“Finally, do you want to live in an America where we honor our founding and our history while learning from our past, or one where monuments are defaced and destroyed and history books are rewritten?”

“These are the choices you face when you enter the voting booth in November. Don’t think for a moment that your vote doesn’t matter. Or that you can sit this one out. Or that this election is just a personality contest.”

No wonder voting is such a sacred duty.

This year, a vote for Biden-Harris will pivot America into tyranny. A vote for Trump-Pence will sustain or increase human freedom. The two sides have never been so opposed. One breathes secular-humanism and the chains it forges. The other promises liberty and the blessings it bestows.

This election is not between a pugnacious outsider and a senile insider.

Many Americans are awakening to the fact that we seem to have no local control of a lot of local things: public schools, our terms of employment, local governments, local elections. That last one popped again recently with the release of my colleague Mollie Hemingway’s deeply reported 2020 election investigation book, “Rigged.”

That book, and some great corroborating independent reporting, show that 2020 election chaos was part of an effective and well-funded plan to help Democrats win by rigging the playing field. One key strategy deployed to that end has become default on the left yet still often goes unremarked and unchallenged. It’s called “advocacy philanthropy.”

In the 2020 election, Facebook zillionaire Mark Zuckerberg used this strategy to deploy nearly half a billion dollars to help Democrat activists infiltrate local government election apparatuses, literally paying for election equipment and the salaries of partisans who counted ballots. This kind of tax-exempt political interference is now standard practice for the world’s far-left ultra-rich, and it’s affecting a whole lot more than elections. It’s constructed essentially a shadow government that pits elected officials against their voters on behalf of moneyed interests.
How the Rich Influence Politics With ‘Philanthropy’

In the past two decades, large foundations have begun to “engage more directly with the political process by supporting advocacy organizations, investing in the implementation of major policy reforms, and ensuring that their research investments are targeted to advance specifc policy priorities,” document politics professors Sarah Reckhow and Megan Tompkins‐Stange in a 2018 paper. These large foundations are predominantly run by leftists, including Bill and Melinda Gates, Zuckerberg, and George Soros.

Their “advocacy philanthropy” strategy is a departure from the traditional philanthropy still largely practiced by the “local gentry,” more modest donors close to local communities and causes.

Traditional charity focuses on clear, concrete human needs: Food. Clean water. Sports equipment. Teachers. Missionaries. And so forth. It also provides, say, funding for big projects that would be difficult for the non-rich to raise in a timely manner, such as capital funding for schools, churches, and libraries.

Advocacy philanthropy, on the other hand, focuses on not directing private money to charitable ends, but on using private money to affect what government entities do. In other words, it’s tax-exempt political activism.
How Bill Gates Overrode Millions of Votes

One of the pioneers of this strategy has been Bill Gates. He used it extensively to control how states and the federal government run public schools, effectively using one man’s trillions to outweigh the votes and voices of millions of American citizens. His crowning achievement was Common Core.

“For years, Bill Gates focused his education philanthropy on overhauling large schools and opening small ones. His new strategy is more ambitious: overhauling the nation’s education policies,” The New York Times reported in 2011 after the Common Core project was already locked in at the federal level. “…In some cases, Mr. Gates is creating entirely new advocacy groups. The foundation is also paying Harvard-trained data specialists to work inside school districts, not only to crunch numbers but also to change practices. It is bankrolling many of the Washington analysts who interpret education issues for journalists and giving grants to some media organizations.”

“We’ve learned that school-level investments aren’t enough to drive systemic changes,” Allan C. Golston, the president of the foundation’s United States program, told the Times. “The importance of advocacy has gotten clearer and clearer.”

Judicial Watch: Records from DC Metropolitan Police Reveal New Information and Questions about U.S. Capitol Police Shooting of Unarmed Ashli Babbitt  OCTOBER 13, 2021|JUDICIAL WATCH

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it received 532 pages of documents from the DC Metropolitan Police about the shooting death of Ashli Babbitt on January 6, 2021, in the U.S. Capitol Building.

Judicial Watch obtained the documents through a May 2021 FOIA lawsuit filed after DC failed to respond to two April, 2021 FOIA requests submitted by Judicial Watch to the Metropolitan Police Department and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for records related to Babbitt’s death (Judicial Watch v. The District of Columbia (No. 2021 CA 001710 B)).

Babbitt was shot and killed as she climbed through a broken interior window in the United State Capitol. She was unarmed, and a 14-year Air Force veteran. The identity of the shooter was kept secret by Congress as well as federal and local authorities for eight months until U.S. Capitol Police officer Michael Byrd went public to try to defend his killing of Ms. Babbitt.

On April 14, 2021, the Justice Department issued a press release stating: “The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice will not pursue criminal charges against the U.S. Capitol Police officer involved in the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Ashli Babbitt…”

The new records include the January 6, 2021, Metro PD Death Report for Babbitt (identified as Ashli Elizabeth McEntee-Babbitt Pamatian). The investigators note that the possible Manner of Death was “Homicide (Police Involved Shooting).” The narrative description of the “Terminal Event” (Babbitt’s death) notes that “the victim was shot inside of the U.S. Capitol building. After being shot, the victim was transported to Medstar for advance life support, however after several attempts to revive the victim, she succumb [sic] to her injury and was pronounced dead at 1515 hours by Dr. [redacted] the attending physician.” Under the “Investigation/Medical History” portion of the report, the investigators wrote, Babbitt “was involved in a first amendment demonstration at the U.S. Capitol…. the decedent was shot by a member of Law Enforcement after breeching a secured room at First Street, Southeast, Washington, DC, (U.S. Capitol Building).” Under description of the Body, the investigators note, “The decedent suffered a single gun shot wound to the upper portion of the left chest near the clavicle.”

In a January 6, 2021, “Incident Report, under “Public Narrative,” the investigators wrote, “On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, Subject-1 had entered the United States Capitol during a riotous event. While inside of the building, Subject-1 had attempted to enter a secured area and was shot in the chest. Subject-1 was transported to a local trauma hospital where lifesaving efforts provide futile. Subeject-1 was pronounced dead at 1515 hours by Dr. [redacted].”

Whistleblower: Biden Admin Releases 16K+ COVID-19 Positive Aliens into U.S. Interior   OCT 18th 2021

According to a recent whistleblower’s bombshell revelations, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has released over 16,000 illegal aliens who tested positive for Covid-19 since Joe Biden’s inauguration.

The anonymous source within the immigration enforcement agency added that the Biden Administration is not mandating the coronavirus vaccine for any of the illegal aliens before they are released into the United States.

The ICE source, who only spoke with Breitbart Texas, made sure to reiterate that the figures only include those aliens actually tested by ICE - the number not tested could be much larger than those tested. The source added that the positive aliens were released in major U.S. cities.

This number also does not include the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens released directly by the U.S. Border Patrol - who also do not test the aliens for the coronavirus. The Department of Health and Human Services reportedly tests all single alien minors released into their custody by USCBP.

Breitbart writer and Border Patrol Retiree, Randy Clark, breaks down the whistleblower’s shocking 16,000 positive aliens released number:

Nearly 12,000 of the migrants who tested positive for COVID-19 and were released into the U.S. were between 18 and 40 years of age, more than 11,800 were male, nearly 1,300 were under the age of ten, and more than 6,000 were between 20 and 29 years old.

The ICE source stated that the positive tests had no impact on whether the alien would be released into the nation’s interior: “With the pace of referrals from the Border Patrol, we tested, made the migrants aware, and released them to avoid increasing the detained population,” the source revealed. “None of the migrants received the COVID-19 vaccine, either voluntary or forced.”

This proves to be yet another example of the Biden Administration’s repeated attempts to circumvent the requirements of U.S. immigration law and its own health mandates for Americans, to admit as many foreign nationals as possible in the U.S., with complete and willful disregard for existing law, public opinion, or the national interest.

It shouldn’t have to be reiterated, but these reckless releases occur not only during a global pandemic but also during a historic year of illegal border crossers. The number of illegal alien encounters made within the last fiscal year was unmatched by any year since the inception of the Border Patrol in 1924.

Although DHS still refuses to release the illegal alien encounter numbers from the last month of the fiscal year 2021, the total encounters for the year are expected to near 2,000,000 illegal aliens.

Battle Over Vaccine Mandates Heats Up Across the Nation  Jenna Browder  10 19 2992

Protests are erupting across the country over COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Parents in California are fired up, protesting outside the state Capitol and across the state.

"The harder they push, the louder we'll get,” said Angie Matthews, a parent from Stockton.

California teachers are now required to get the shot. The mandate is coming for students too once the vaccine is fully approved for their age groups. "I'm not a parent that wants my child to be controlled by the government,” said parent Tykie Rodriguez. So, I want my child to not be vaccinated."

In Chicago, police officers are facing off with the mayor. Thirty-five percent of officers haven't reported their vaccine status and risk losing their jobs. In Washington state, an officer signed off for the last time after being forced to leave for not complying.

Nationwide, 62% of all officer deaths last year were from COVID.

In the sports world, Washington state has fired its head football coach Nick Rolovich and four assistants for refusing the state mandate. "I mean it's just unfortunate,” said Pat Chun, Washington State University’s Director of Athletics. “This team, they don't deserve this. I mean that this is a real point of heartbreak."

It all comes as a so-called sub-variant called “Delta Plus” ramps up its spread. About 6% of all cases in the UK are from this new strain, which has spread to the US.

Meanwhile, some governors are pushing back against the mandates.

"This Delta variant is dangerous; it's spreading quickly, but it's spreading whether there are mandates or not. And unfortunately, these mandates have created an economic pandemic where previously we only had a health pandemic,” Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte (R) told CBN News.

But a new study from the “Covid States Project” shows support for governors slipping in states without mandates.

While the battle brews, the FDA could make an announcement on booster shots this week. The agency is expected to recommend people get boosters that match their original doses but could still allow mixing and matching.

"I think mixing and matching would reduce supply chain complexity quite a bit. And so, the end result would be more boosters and more arms and that matters a lot,” said Dr. Ryan Ribeira of Stanford Hospital’s Emergency Department.

Meanwhile, at midnight, a vaccine mandate went into effect in Seattle. The city reports 99% of its 11,000 thousand employees have complied.

Congressman Jim Banks (R-IN) accused Democrats of playing “hide the ball” with the text of the Build Back Better Act in a memo to the Republican Study Committee, which he chairs. The leviathan legislation comes in at a whopping 2,468 pages at the moment (changes aren’t just possible; they’re likely), but Rep. Banks managed to find the ball – 42 of them, actually. The debate thus far has focused primarily on the overall price of the bill – but a closer look at this progressive shopping list would be a shock to many. In Rep. Banks’ words: “Each of these 42 bullets is enough to vote against the bill. Taken together – it’s mind-blowingly corrupt.”
Mean Green Spending Machine

Very little of the bill is devoted to what most people would consider actual infrastructure – hard infrastructure like roads, bridges, and utilities, or even soft infrastructure like the education system, law enforcement, and other governmental systems.

But then there’s the label critical infrastructure, which is defined by the USA Patriot Act of 2001 as any “systems and assets, whether physical or virtual, so vital to the United States that the incapacity or destruction of such systems and assets would have a debilitating impact on security, national economic security, national public health or safety, or any combination of those.” In short, whatever the government wants to call critical infrastructure.

So what forms of “human infrastructure” do the Democrats consider critical? The Green New Deal in all its glory – from the new CCC (that’s Civilian Climate Corps, this time, a sort of climate police funded by tax dollars) to “green energy” tax credits for electric vehicles and all the way down to an “environmental justice” curriculum in universities and K-12 public schools. The included methane and natural gas taxes are estimated to cost the economy up to $9.1 billion and 90,000 jobs – which would almost certainly increase the overall cost as many of those workers would be forced to rely on unemployment and SNAP benefits.
Free Stuff For Everyone!

Build Back Better means more “free” stuff. There’s health care and tuition – from preschool through community college – at no (upfront) cost. Emphasis on upfront, as anyone who pays taxes is pitching in – and you can bet that massive tax hike is going to hit the poor as well as the middle class, regardless of what the Democrats claim. The various welfare programs already in existence will be continued as well, sans any requirement to even attempt to find a job – which can only worsen the current labor shortage and all the consequences that come with it, like ports clogged with unprocessed shipping containers and airlines that can’t put pilots and other staff in planes.

These freebies include clauses like this:

“No individual shall be determined to be ineligible to receive benefits provided under this subpart […] on the basis of citizenship, alienage, or immigration status.”

So anyone who managed to enter the country illegally qualifies for the taxpayer-funded free college, health care, and other welfare benefits regardless of whether they’ve ever worked a day at a legitimate, tax-paying job in this country.

On top of that, this human infrastructure bill would grant amnesty to around eight million illegals already stateside, and remove roadblocks keeping many out, including those who failed to attend removal proceedings in previous immigration cases. In the right circumstances, DHS might even waive former convictions for things like illegal voting and human trafficking.

Revenuers’ Revenge

According to the IRS Active Enrolled Agents Listing – which was last updated September 17 – there are 63,202 IRS agents in the U.S. The Build Back Better Act includes almost $80 billion for the purpose of hiring more agents. That buys about 87,000 – more than twice the number of agents currently enrolled. What will these new revenuers be doing? Reviewing any account above a $600 balance or with more than $600 in total transactions a year. Rep. Banks calls this an IRS-agent army, and while it may be tempting to call that hyperbole, consider this: Agents in the Criminal Investigation Division are armed – with AR-15s, in fact.

This may be one of the most life-altering changes for many Americans. For the 2020 tax year, the government collected $3.42 trillion in taxes, according to the Treasury’s Data Lab. FY2020 carried a $3.1 trillion deficit. Add those two together and we can assume it cost the U.S. somewhere around $6.5 trillion to operate in 2020 – and that was without this monster of a spending bill. The tax code is already complicated enough, but with the recent changes – mostly COVID relief measures – it’s nigh impossible to figure out. Even some professionals and both the Turbo Tax and H&R Block services got it wrong in many cases, according to one IRS agent.

Now imagine an IRS, more than doubled in size, that desperately needs to rake in some revenue to pay for all these “freebies” and intends to recoup that cost by combing through the bank accounts of anyone who makes more than $600 in a year.
Other Progressive Goodies

There are a plethora of other progressive and statist goodies, of course – some of which didn’t make Banks’ list. The big bill would increase the “sin tax” on many tobacco products and impose a new one on nicotine itself. For example, the tax for smokeless tobacco in 5701(e) is changed from $1.51 to $26.84.

Tax-funded abortions also made the list – though this is one of those places they “hid the ball,” as the text doesn’t include the word “abortion.” Instead, readers must follow the trail to Section 10214 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to see what the expanded funding covers.

Nearly $4 billion would allow “racist” roads and bridges to be “fixed,” and $200 million for the Presidio Trust in Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) district. The bill would enforce consequences against red states that refuse to adopt Green New Deal provisions and add about $4 billion in “Community Climate Incentive Grants” to reward the states that do cooperate.

Those items mentioned here and in the RSC memo are only the tip of the iceberg. Remember: the bill is 2,486 pages – and over half a million words – long. Regardless of political affiliation, there’s no denying that the Build Back Better Act would, in fact, forever transform America’s society and economy.
