PELOSI said, "We have been working on this for the past 2 1/2 years." THINK ABOUT THAT STATEMENT for a moment. The Called "Crime" Supposedly took place in June 2019 but, Democrats have been working on impeachment for 2 1/2 How do you work on something that won't happen for another 30 months? McCarthy on Pelosi: 'Did She Say That With A Straight Face?'
Bronson Stocking Posted: Jan 09, 2020

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is refusing to transmit two articles of impeachment over to the Senate without first seeing from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell what rules will govern the Senate's impeachment trial of President Trump. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was asked by a reporter on Thursday what was so unreasonable about Speaker Pelosi's request.
"Did she say that with a straight face?" quipped Rep. McCarthy.
"You sat through this impeachment," the House minority leader continued. "You watched the Speaker of the House deny any rules going forward in the House. You watched the Speaker of the House change every history we have when it comes to impeachment. We had a history about how we dealt with Clinton and how we dealt with Nixon in a fair process. She changed all that so it could not become fair. She took it out of Judiciary and put it into the Intel Committee ... She denied the own members the ability to ask questions and only for the first 45 minutes that the Chair and someone not even elected to Congress had the power to ask questions. She denied the minority to be able to have witnesses. She denied the accused, the president, to even have legal counsel, and she has the gall to say she wants to determine what happens in the Senate?"
Rep. McCarthy also referenced the recent comments of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) who called upon Speaker Pelosi to transmit the articles of impeachment if they were indeed serious and urgent.
"If it’s serious and urgent, send them over," Sen. Feinstein said. "If it isn’t, don’t send it over."
By refusing to transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate, Pelosi isn't merely requesting something from Mitch McConnell. She's attempting to extort concessions from Senate Republicans. It was recently reported that Speaker Pelosi got the idea after watching John Dean, architect of the Watergate coverup, float the idea during one of his appearances CNN.

Pelosi Is In Deep Trouble With Democrats – Her Impeachment Stall Idea Came From Disbarred Convicted Watergate Counsel
Americans have watched, dumbfounded, as Nancy Pelosi refused to obey the law in sending her impeachment articles to the Senate.

She has proved to be a flip-flopper throughout all of this. She went back on her word about not supporting impeachment. Then she rushed through an “urgent” impeachment process.

Then, she flipped again by refusing to send the articles to the Senate. The last move has outraged and confused everybody.

Even Democrats, who want Trump impeached, can’t understand why Pelosi would delay the process like this.

Where would a political “expert” get such a dumb idea? Turns out, she got it from CNN! Way to go, lady.

But the person who suggested it is hardly a celebrated figure.

From Washington Examiner:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi reportedly got the idea not to send the articles of impeachment to the Senate from former White House counsel John Dean…

“Somebody said to me today that he may not even take up what we send. [But] then [Trump] will never be vindicated,”
Pelosi said… “He will be impeached forever. Forever. No matter what the Senate does.”

Ouch, this is bad. According to reports, Pelosi got the idea to delay sending the articles after watching a CNN interview with John Dean.

Who’s John Dean? He pleaded guilty to covering up the Watergate scandal. He was later disbarred after serving a reduced prison sentence.

Dang, Nance. You got advice from him? Was O.J. Simpson not available for consultation?

An agent reported that Pelosi wanted Trump “impeached forever.” We all knew that.

Her delay tactic was a pathetic move that showed more abuse of power than anything Trump has done.

Even Democrats in the House and Senate have voiced their displeasure.

Now we see that Pelosi didn’t bother to consult with her own people—even members like Nadler or Schiff. She got it from a disgraced politician on CNN.

Is this how she gets all her policy ideas?

Does she just watch a miserable news network, taking notes?

You know what? I wouldn’t be surprised if she did. Would explain a lot, huh?

What could Obama and/or John Kerry be charged with....?...treason, espionage, sedition....????

Whistleblower: Obama Administration Sent Letters to Soleimani

Michael Doran isn't some conspiracy theorist.

As an expert on the geopolitics of the Middle East, he currently serves as a Senior Fellow at the conservative Hudson Institute. Previously, he was employed as a Senior Fellow at the moderate Brookings Institution.

Which makes his claim that he knows the Obama administration sent letters — plural — directly to Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani all the more shocking. (Twitchy)

John Kerry still hasn’t figured out when to just walk away … sorry, slink away. We suppose his ego is more important to him than the country, otherwise, he wouldn’t have penned a ridiculous and whiny op-ed for the New York Times accusing Trump of ‘destroying’ what ‘we’ve’ built with Iran.

Because bowing to and funding terrorists was such a good thing for America to be associated with.

Michael Doran seems to have taken issue with John’s crap-piece and took it upon himself to be a whistleblower.

And what happened to the "end of the week" deadline given to Pelosi by senators McConnell and sen. Graham..? Do they just let her get away with doing what SHE wants, or do they "Man Up" and hold het to theIr DEADLINE...???

Pelosi Alerts House to Be Ready to Send Impeachment Articles Next Week Pelosi Alerts House to Be Ready to Send Impeachment Articles Next Week   Jan 10, 2020

In a letter to lawmakers, Ms. Pelosi appeared to be moving to end an impasse, but she did not offer a more specific timeline.

WASHINGTON — Speaker Nancy Pelosi alerted lawmakers on Friday that she would move next week to transmit articles of impeachment against President Trump to the Senate and prompt a historic trial over charges that the president abused his office and obstructed Congress.

In a letter to colleagues Friday morning, the speaker moved to end a weekslong impasse over the impeachment process that had left the president’s fate in limbo. She did not announce the members of the team she will ask to manage the case, but said the House should be ready to vote to appoint them sometime next week.

“I have asked Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler to be prepared to bring to the floor next week a resolution to appoint managers and transmit articles of impeachment to the Senate,” Ms. Pelosi wrote after lawmakers departed the Capitol for the weekend. “I will be consulting with you at our Tuesday House Democratic Caucus meeting on how we proceed further.”

The Trump Doctrine Delivers a Win Against Iran
Scott Ruesterholz Posted: Jan 09, 2020

Despite Democrats and their media mouthpieces setting their hair ablaze to spout their crazed notion that President Trump was blundering the United States into World War III with Iran, it’s now clear that his decision to kill General Qasem Soleimani was a foreign policy masterstroke. We’ve taken out Iran’s terrorist mastermind, a man who killed over 600 American troops in Iraq and caused unspeakable bloodshed across the region while making clear that killing American citizens will be met with disproportionate force. Iran’s response, in which they warned the Iraqis (who then warned us) of incoming missiles, was essentially retaliation in name only, thankfully killing no one, and served to satiate the domestic need to save face while making clear they could not stomach further escalation.

By showing that he will act forcefully and unpredictably when American lives are lost or in jeopardy, Trump clearly rattled the Iranian regime and re-established a level of deterrence in the US-Iranian relationship not seen since they released our hostages to President Reagan in 1981. More tellingly, the Iran saga has further crystallized what the Trump Doctrine is: leverage asymmetric power to maximize gains for America’s interest at minimum cost. Thus far, the Trump Doctrine has worked to great effect in America’s economic conflicts; this week, we learned it can be applied as successfully to military affairs.

Both Mike Lee and Rand Paul intend to vote with demorats to limit Trumps war powers.....BUT, is that what they really feel or did they get "hurt feelings" because they weren't told about the attack beforehand....? If Trump made his plan known before the strike, I'm almost certain IRAN would have been alerted....!

Vandal Torches Anti-Trump Statue in Slovenia

Vandal Torches Anti-Trump Statue in Slovenia

An arsonist burned an unflattering wooden effigy of President Trump to the ground earlier today.
The monument, in Melania's home country of Slovenia, depicted Trump with pointed teeth and a menacing expression.

Per ABC News:

When triggered, a mechanism inside the statue opened a red-painted mouth and shark-like teeth used to appear.

"Like all populists, the statue has two faces," its creator, Tomaz Schlegl, said when he unveiled the statue last August. "One is humane and nice, the other is that of a vampire."

Although the construction quickly became a tourist attraction, some local villagers were unhappy with its appearance, pledging to torch it by Halloween, Oct. 31. It had to be moved to another village in the area.

Milan Balazic, the mayor of Moravce where the statue ended up, said that unknown arsonists burned it.
Balazic lamented the statute's destruction, saying the act "is [sic] symbol of intolerance toward artistic projects in our society."

Another complete waste of taxpayer TIME & MONEY by the DEMORATS

Hope that all House Republicans will vote against Crazy Nancy Pelosi’s War Powers Resolution. Also, remember her “speed & rush” in getting the Impeachment Hoax voted on & done. Well, she never sent the Articles to the Senate. Just another Democrat fraud. Presidential Harassment!

This is totally insignificant, because it cannot be signed into law......

House to Vote on Restraining Trump’s Actions Against Iran
By Matthew Daly and Alan Fram • Updated 2 hours ago

The Democratic war powers resolution seems certain to pass over solid Republican opposition

The Democratic-controlled House moved toward approving a non-binding measure Thursday aimed at limiting President Donald Trump's ability to take military action against Iran as criticism of the U.S. killing of a top Iranian general intensifies

Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said the war powers resolution, which does not require Trump's signature, nonetheless “has real teeth” because it is "a statement of the Congress of the United States. I will not have that statement be diminished by whether the president will veto it or not.''

The Democratic measure seemed certain to pass Thursday over solid Republican opposition. A similar proposal by Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., faces an uphill fight in the GOP-run Senate. Kaine's efforts received a boost Thursday as Republican Sen. Todd Young of Indiana, an ex-Marine, said he might support the war powers measure. Two other Republican senators said Wednesday they would back the Kaine plan.

“We are members of a separate and distinct branch of government. It is our duty not to take anyone’s word for things as we are dealing with matters of life and death,” Young said, adding that he wished Trump administration officials had provided more intelligence information during a briefing Wednesday on a U.S. drone strike that killed a top Iranian general.

Pelosi announced the vote Wednesday, declaring that last week's drone strike that killed Gen. Qasem Soleimani was “provocative and disproportionate."

Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise, the No. 2 House Republican, denounced the Democratic measure as little more than "a press release designed to attack President Trump,'' noting that it has no binding effect and cannot be signed into law.

"This resolution only wastes our valuable time, plays politics with our national security and damages our ability to protect American lives and interests in the Middle East,'' Scalise said.

Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday that Soleimani “was traveling the region making plans to bring an attack against American personnel and American forces.” He said it was not possible to share full details of the intelligence with lawmakers because doing so "could compromise sources and methods."

Vice President Mike Pence: Iran Was Trying ‘To Kill Americans’ In Iraq | TODAY

Joining TODAY live from the White House, Vice President Mike Pence disputes the idea that Iran deliberately avoided American casualties when it fired missiles at an airbase in Iraq, saying the missiles “were intended to kill Americans.” He defended the U.S. decision to kill Iran’s top general, saying “the threat of Soleimani is gone.” He added “President Trump made the right decision … America is safer, the world is safer.”
