The Pope, Who Has Armed Bodyguards, Has A Problem With Christians Who Manufacture Weapons

Apparently, he wants his bodyguards to buy their weapons from atheists.

Pope Francis spoke on Sunday and said that people who manufacture weapons create some level of “distrust” if they call themselves Christians.
Yeah, we don’t get it, either.
He spoke at a rally attended by thousands of young people. He was ending the first day of his trip to Turin.
“If you trust only men you have lost,” he said.
Okay, we don’t have a problem with that.
Then, he said this: “It makes me think of… people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit a distrust, doesn’t it?”
The crowd applauded at that line, but we don’t know why.
The Pope has armed bodyguards. Clearly, he recognizes a use for weapons within the context of Christianity. Why doesn’t he extend that same recognition to the manufacturing of weapons?
Finally, the Pope also criticized people who invest in the weapons industries, saying that “duplicity is the currency of today… they say one thing and do another.”
That makes even less sense.

We have a dozen regulatory agencies that are supposed to be enforcing disclosure regulations...until Congress steps in and draws the shade... and tells us what we are entitled to know.

Just as the supporters of Obamacare – the IRS, the vast legions of regulatory agency administrators, the health-care industry and politicians – are crowing over another Supreme Court victory, another case is looming that could kill the law entirely.

By using the words of the Supreme Court itself.
In last week’s 6-3 decision, the language of the Affordable Care Act was at issue when the justices ruled against a plain reading of the law, determining that exchanges “established by the state” must include exchanges established by the federal government as well as individual states. Consequently, the court found, subsidies can be issued to residents of states that haven’t set up their own exchange, preserving a key plank of the law.
Now, a case brought by the Pacific Legal Foundation is using the court’s own terminology to argue Obamacare is constitutionally invalid.
The issue is simple: When the Senate adopted its own bill, installed it inside the shell of a separate and unrelated House bill, called it the Affordable Care Act and passed it, it created a long list of “fees” and “penalties” for Americans to pay.
But the John Roberts-led Supreme Court, recognizing the Constitution doesn’t allow the government to force people to buy consumer products, turned the “fees” and “penalties” into “taxes.”

A Louisiana man said he got Walmart to bake him a cake featuring the flag of the Islamic State after the store refused to make him a cake decorated with the Confederate battle flag and the caption, “Heritage not hate.”

Activist Chuck Netzhammer posted a YouTube video in which he said he had a Walmart in Slidell, Louisiana, make the ISIS cake to show the store's hypocrisy in banning Confederate flag-themed products but not, apparently, ISIS-themed ones.

“Hi, Walmart, you’ve got some explaining to do,” he said in the video. “I went to buy a printed cake from y’all the other day with this image on it and y’all wouldn’t do it. I’ve got proof. Went back yesterday and managed to get an ISIS battle flag printed. ISIS happens to be somebody we’re fighting against right now who are killing our men and boys overseas and are beheading Christians.”

The Supreme Court’s ruling this week in Texas Housing v. Inclusive Communities proclaimed that, when it comes to housing discrimination suits, “the law allows not only claims for intentional discrimination but also, claims that cover practices that have a discriminatory effect, even if they were not motivated by an intent to discriminate.” (H/T CNN)
This means that builders, lenders and insurers can be sued for discrimination just because the racial makeup of a particular neighborhood irks the race baiters.
According to Breitbart, the goal of this ruling, as written by Justice Anthony Kennedy, is to root out “unconscious prejudice.”
The underlying premise is that disparate impact — i.e., disproportionate population statistics — is itself evidence of racial discrimination.
So in translation, a majority-white neighborhood is automatically racist because such a small quantity of black people — if any — live there.
Charming logic, right?
The court basically wants “to rearrange the socioeconomic structure of society” in a bid to bring about Barack Hussein Obama’s radically transformed America.

Presidential candidate Gov. Chris Christie says that flare-ups of his temper on the campaign trail are rare and show a "controlled anger" that demonstrates his passion about important issues that affect voters.

   The New Jersey Republican, who has faced questions about his temperament in the run-up to his 2016 run, added that his anger remains controlled "almost all the time" and that he's lost his temper "very few times" during his governorship.
   In the interview, Christie said that he does not regret declining to run for president in 2012, when many Republicans were urging him to seek the White House.
   "In 2011 and '12, I was not ready to be president," he said. "And you don't run just because you think you can win, you have to think you can win and that you're ready to do the job."
   He also said that he is not worried that he'll be drowned out in the crowded GOP field for the 2016 nomination.
   "I think the biggest problem with so many people is getting attention, and I've never had any problem getting attention," he said. "So I think I'll do okay."
   Christie announced his presidential campaign on Tuesday in his hometown of Livingston, New Jersey.

~~President Obama’s~~ amnesty juggernaut has taken another step forward despite a federal judge’s order to halt it in its tracks.
The president’s plan to delay the deportation of as many as 5 million illegal aliens through memos issued by appointees moved ahead Tuesday when the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced the extension of a program allowing spouses of certain visa holders to obtain work permits.

According to the Washington Times, the move will, in 90 days, allow some 180,000 immigrants to be eligible for the benefit “in the first year.”

“Allowing the spouses of these visa holders to legally work in the United States makes perfect sense,” the newspaper quoted agency chief Leon Rodriguez saying. “It helps U.S. businesses keep their highly skilled workers by increasing the chances these workers will choose to stay in this country during the transition from temporary workers to permanent residents.”
At virtually the same time, U.S. District Judge Andrew S. Hanen, who a week ago ordered federal agencies to stop implementation of the Obama amnesty plan, told plaintiffs in the lawsuit they have until March 3 to provide any additional arguments regarding the government’s request that he reverse his decision.

Amazon.com staff are telling irate customers that the company was ordered by the federal government not to sell items featuring the Confederate flag in the aftermath of the Charleston shooting.

Amazon made the announcement this week, along with eBay, Sears and Walmart, that it would no longer sell products bearing the rebel flag, but according to a conversation posted on YouTube between a customer and an Amazon sales rep, the decision could have been made as a result of pressure from the government.

At first the Amazon staffer claims that the items were banned because they were deemed to be offensive, but when pressed by the customer, the sales rep tells a different story.

“Is this a political statement by Amazon.com or is this a directive that you’re following, that the government said you know we want you guys not to sell these anymore?” asks the caller.

“The government is not allowing us to sell this Confederate flag,” responds the staffer.

“So the government is not allowing you….to sell it?” asks the caller, to which the sales rep responds, “yes.”

DISCLAIMER: I was not in Charleston and did not witness the event. I am not asserting that Dylann Roof did not commit the crime attributed to him. If the tragedy occurred just as the media has said, my heart goes out to the victims’ families, and nothing here is intended to disparage the memory of the dead.

However, those who realize America has long been run by a shadow oligarchy know our country has experienced many false flags. We have also seen false flags used to advance gun control and a domestic police state, as in Oklahoma City, Sandy Hook, and France’s Charlie Hebdo. So we would not be injudicious to examine the Charleston incident closely, and we do find that reasonable questions are being raised. An unspecified portion of the money, allocated under the government’s national Crime Victim Assistance Formula Grant program, can be used to provide services to the families of victims of the shootings at Emmanuel AME Church, spokesman Kevin Lewis said.

If liberals want to ban the Confederate flag due to its historical link to slavery, shouldn’t they also demand President Obama’s resignation because his family owned slaves?

Obama’s great-great-great-great grandfather, George Washington Overall, owned two slaves who were recorded in the 1850 census in Nelson County, Ky., the Baltimore Sun reported in 2007, and Obama’s great-great-great-great-great-grandmother, Mary Duvall, also owned slaves.
Obama’s campaign team in 2008 did not dispute the information.
“While a relative owned slaves, another fought for the Union in the Civil War,” Obama’s campaign spokesman Bill Burton said. “And it is a true measure of progress that the descendant of a slave owner would come to marry a student from Kenya and produce a son who would grow up to be a candidate for president of the United States.”
Leftists are currently purging the Confederate flag because its association with slavery, but given that “logic,” shouldn’t they also be calling for Obama’s resignation since he too has a historical link to slavery?
Obama should resign, but not because of his ancestors: he needs to resign for his support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), both of which are secretive, multinational “trade” deals written by transnational interests that will prevent millions of Americans from securing good jobs.
“Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), as the measure is called, means that Congress will only get to vote up or down on the treaties in question once they are finalized by the White House, without the ability to offer amendments,” RT reported, meaning that Obama now has dictatorial powers.
And, not surprising, the American public was too busy debating an irrelevant issue, the Confederate flag, to notice the deindustrialization of America by executive fiat.

But the four people quoted above weren’t lying. Okay, maybe they weren’t 100% certain, but based on whatever intelligence they had access to at the time, clearly they were convinced Saddam Hussein had WMD’s.

   Sunni extremists in Iraq have now occupied what was once Saddam Hussein’s premier chemical-weapons facility and found…. wait for it: The dreaded, long lost, never were there in the first-place, Bush lied – people died: Weapons of mass destruction.
   ISIS, the group people are saying is worse than Al Qaeda – I guess you have to be competitive in today’s world – has apparently captured a stockpile of chemical weapons which if you listen to the aforementioned Clinton, Clinton, Gore & Kerry since the war, never existed.
State Department officials told the Wall Street Journal:

U.S. officials don’t believe the Sunni militants will be able to create a functional chemical weapon from the material. The weapons stockpiled at the Al Muthanna complex are old, contaminated and hard to move, officials said.

     Still though, what would you expect them to say? Barack Obama has been railing on George W. for ten years, saying GWB lied about the reason to go to war. He’s going to all of a sudden say, “hey, look! WMD’s – that President Bush was right all along!!”? Yeah, right..

     So they trot out this woman I believe to be the most condescending liar in the history of U.S. politics, State Department spokeswoman, Jen Psaki. Here’s the company line: “We do not believe that the complex contains CW materials of military value and it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to safely move the materials.” Guess those inspectors missed something?
President George W. Bush has been vindicated and history will show he lead through strength and resolve.
     Obama? Not so much.. But don’t worry – ignorant followers who will listen to the Administration and it’s lapdogs in the press state it over and over again will still believe that these weapons never existed and will still blame Bush.
