Robert E. Lee: An American Hero  Jack Kerwick  Posted: May 23, 2017

Robert E. Lee: An American Hero

The movement is underway to erase from the public square all remnants of the Confederacy. The most recent victory on this score occurred in New Orleans this past weekend when a statue of General Robert E. Lee, the last of four monuments that the city razed over the last couple of weeks, was brought down.
As I have written in a previous column, the campaign against all public monuments to the Confederacy is a campaign against the West.  It is a campaign against the European heritage of Western peoples.  Confederate veterans and sympathizers like Lee are the easiest marks at the moment, but the logic of the crusade to demonize Confederate heroes points inescapably toward the cleansing from the Western world of all white figures from our past who fail to satisfy the left’s contemporary “progressivist” litmus test.
And this would include virtually every white historical personage.
Every patriotic American who is the least bit concerned with protecting Western civilization generally and American history specifically from those who want to “fundamentally transform” them should be fighting tooth and nail to safeguard public symbols of the Confederacy. It is a disgrace that those “conservative” pundits with national profiles have failed to do so.
However, that the movement against public remnants of the Confederacy promises to lead to a slippery slope is only one reason that decent people everywhere should resist it mightily.  More importantly, it is an effort to rid the world of monuments of genuinely good people.  Robert E. Lee emblematizes this.

CNN Host Admitted Something The Media Wanted To Keep Secret

The so-called “mainstream” media mocks the idea of the Deep State. They claim it’s a figment of the imagination of conspiracy theorists. But one CNN host just let the cat out of the bag.
CNN is a rabid Trump-hating network.
Analyst Dana Bash appeared on the air to discuss the disputed report that Trump asked former FBI Director James Comey to drop the investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
Bash linked this to other recent leaks, such as the questionable story that Trump revealed classified information to the Russians during a meeting in the Oval Office with their Foreign Minister and Ambassador.
She said it was the Deep State’s way of exacting revenge on Trump.

Congress Is Demanding A Memo And Its Bad News For Loretta Lynch

Washington is on fire with the revelation that former FBI Director Jim Comey wrote a memo claiming Donald Trump asked him to call off the investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
But there is another Comey memo floating around.
And it’s bad news for Loretta Lynch.
Republican Congressman Pete Sessions is demanding Comey turn over any memos regarding Loretta Lynch’s meeting with former President Bill Clinton that took place during the investigation into Hillary’s email server.
The Daily Caller reports:
“A House Republican wants to see the entire memo from former FBI Director James Comey on President Trump asking him to drop the investigation of Michael Flynn, as well as any memo Comey might have composed on the infamous meeting Bill Clinton had with Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Rush Limbaugh: Trump Faces ‘Silent Coup,’ It’s Started!
Rush Limbaugh agrees with author David Horowitz – and says insiders want to stop President Trump and have even launched a “silent coup” against him!
Just after details of FBI Director Comey’s memo leaked last week – about an alleged conversation he had with the president – Limbaugh went on air to warn his listeners.
Rush says Washington insiders have decided to take Trump out!
Here’s what Rush said – and read it carefully:
“I think it has a purposeful, studied effort and outcome, which is a coup. We are watching a silent coup here to oust a duly elected president, and this coup is being mounted by career government people who can traffic anonymously and who are protected by people in the media and within the Democrat Party.”
David Horowitz first predicted and warned of this coup –  that Democrats and big media would start a “coup effort” against the president.
Following is Michael Reagan’s letter about the coup underway against President Trump.
This Is Nothing Less Than a ‘Coup Against Trump’

Urgent Message from Michael Reagan

Dear Friend:
I am watching the cable news channels and I am just stunned.
This is a brazen attempt to oust Donald Trump as president.
This is nothing short of a coup attempt against the duly elected president.
David Horowitz predicted all of this in his bestseller “Big Agenda: President Trump’s Plan to Save America.”
If you watch CNN and MSNBC, they are now salivating about the “impeachment” of President Trump.
The truth is they have been talking about this from the day he took the oath of office.
Now they are claiming a “smoking gun.”
What is it?
A memo by then-FBI Director Comey – who the president just fired.
Comey claims the president tried to close down his investigation into General Flynn.
Who did Comey write the memo to? Well, himself!
Did he inform the attorney general, the Congress or the public about this shocking claim the president tried to obstruct justice?
No, he didn’t.
Sorry folks. I am not buying this!

According to The Daily Caller, the group is scheduled to receive a “peaceful award” ‘to highlight’ its work to bring about ‘change in a nonviolent way’.  The award will be presented on November 2 in Sydney.
In a press release, the Sydney Peace Foundation said that it honors people each year who are “leading global voices that promote peace, justice and nonviolence.  It also said that they chose Black Lives Matter “because of the movement’s dedication to its “bold and visionary strategies.”

Alabama Legislature Passes Bill Protecting Confederate Memorials – Daily Caller

.
The Alabama senate passed a bill Friday which would prevent the changing of the names of Confederate memorials and removing of historic Confederate monuments.
The bill “would prohibit the relocation, removal, alteration, renaming, or other disturbance of any architecturally significant building, memorial building, memorial street, or monument that has stood on public property for 40 or more years,” reads the text of the bill, reported Yahoo News.
Sen. Gerald Allen, a Republican sponsor of the bill, blasted what he perceived as a “wave of political correctness” assailing monuments dedicated to people who, despite having flaws, were important to history.
“You say we are protecting history,” said Sen. Hank Sanders, a Democrat African American, according to Yahoo News…

Venomous or poisonous?  By Caitlyn

Snakes! Even if they’re not venomous – wait – do you know the difference between venomous and poisonous?
Some people use the words interchangeably because once in the body, the chemicals do similar damage, attacking the heart, brain or other vital targets. But according to the Smithsonian: the terms do mean very different things. Traditionally, venomous creatures bite, sting or stab you to do their damage, while you have bite or touch poisonous critters to feel their effects. That means venomous organisms need a way in, like fangs or teeth. Poisonous organisms take a more passive approach, often lining the skin or other surfaces with toxic chemicals. Oh and by the way, the antidote to snake venom  is anti-venin, not anti-venom.
Back to the snakes.
Rule number 1. Leave all snakes alone. Apply the following safety rules when traveling in areas where there are venomous snakes:
  • Walk carefully and watch where you step. Step onto logs rather than over them before looking and moving on.
  • Look closely when picking fruit or moving around water.
  • Do not tease, molest, or harass snakes. Snakes cannot close their eyes. Therefore, you cannot tell if they are asleep. Some snakes, such as mambas, cobras, and bushmasters, will attack aggressively when cornered or guarding a nest.
  • Use sticks to turn logs and rocks.
  • Wear proper footgear, particularly at night.
  • Carefully check bedding, shelter, and clothing.
  • Be calm when you encounter serpents. Snakes cannot hear and you can occasionally surprise them when they are sleeping or sunning. Normally, they will flee if given the opportunity.
  • Use extreme care if you must kill snakes for food or safety. Although it is not common, warm, sleeping human bodies occasionally attract snakes.
The polar regions are free of snakes due to their inhospitable environments. Other areas considered to be free of  venomous snakes are New Zealand, Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Ireland, Polynesia, and Hawaii. This means America does have  venomous snakes. Here are the ones to watch out for:

Rattlesnake (Crotalus species)
This poisonous snake is notorious in the American southwest, particularly west of the Mississipi, especially Texas and Arizona. It blends in with the light sand and sun-bleached rocks of deserts.

Senators Revealed The Status Of The Investigation Into Trump

Is Donald Trump under FBI investigation?

He claims former FBI Director James Comey told him three times he was not the target of the counter-intelligence probe into Russia’s alleged election meddling.
Democrats and the media worked to contradict him, but now two top Senators just answered the question once and for all.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley has been less than pleased with Comey’s conduct during the investigation.
Grassley was furious about the lack of answers about the FBI paying former British Intelligence agent Christopher Steele for his opposition research on Trump during the campaign.
And now Grassley is blasting Comey for not going public with what he told him and Dianne Feinstein in private briefings – that Trump is not under investigation.
Breitbart reports:
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) on Thursday vouched for President Trump’s assertion in a letter to former FBI Director James Comey that he was not under investigation by the FBI.
Grassley told committee members at an executive meeting that he and ranking member Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) had met with Comey last week, and that he had briefed them on who the targets of the various investigations are.
“Senator Feinstein and I heard nothing that contradicted the President’s statement,” he said.
Feinstein then said after Grassley’s statement, “I very much appreciate what you’ve said and it’s very accurate, and we were briefed.”
During his Senate testimony about Russia, Comey refused to confirm or deny that Trump was a target of the investigation.
When Trump canned Comey, Democrats and the media immediately jumped to the conclusion that Trump fired the FBI Director because he was leading an investigation into Trump himself.
That was false, and Trump included the fact that Comey personally told him three times he wasn’t under investigation in his letter where he announced his termination.
Grassley also suggested the media hysteria is helping Russia with their efforts to destabilize American democracy by paralyzing institutions.
Breitbart also reports:
Grassley said wild speculation that the FBI is targeting the president is “not just irresponsible and unfounded,” but also played into Russian goals to undermine the American public’s faith in democratic institutions.
“It provides aid and comfort to the Russians and their goal of undermining faith in our democracy,” he said.
Grassley also suggested other committee members get briefed by the FBI on “what is actually going on” before the committee does anything more in its investigation on Russian interference in the election.
“Hopefully, that will help temper some of the unsubstantiated statements that have been made,” he said.

Mueller and Comey's Relationship That The Media Doesn't Want You To Know About

The man tasked with investigating possible meddling by Russia in the 2016 presidential election – a probe that will likely encompass President Trump’s recent firing of FBI Director James Comey – once called Comey “one of the finest people I’ve ever met.”

Robert Mueller, Comey’s predecessor at FBI from 2001-2013, has a lengthy, close and somewhat controversial history with the man suddenly at the center of investigations swirling around Trump. Mueller on Wednesday evening was appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as special counsel to oversee the Justice Department’s investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the U.S. presidential election and related issues.

But Mueller and Comey have been longtime allies dating back to at least 2003 when the men both worked in Washington, D.C., Mueller as FBI Director and Comey as Deputy Attorney General.

The men were memorably cast – mostly via Comey’s 2007 testimony – as honorable men standing against government overreach when they talked former President George W. Bush out of pushing ahead the renewal of a controversial surveillance program. That episode included a supposedly dramatic hospital bedside encounter when Bush aides tried to get ailing Attorney General John Ashcroft to sign off on the program’s renewal. But Ashcroft, and in Comey’s telling, Comey himself, stood firmly athwart the pressure and prevailed.

New Evidence Tells The Truth About Trump and Russia Collusion  05/19/2017  Source: AAN by: Remington Strelivo

New Evidence Tells The Truth About Trump and Russia Collusion

Newly-released U.S. intelligence has might have proven, once and for all, that there was no collusion between President Donald Trump’s campaign and Russian spies to sway the 2016 election.
Senior intelligence officers says that they overhead a Russian operative brag about the plot to leak damaging emails from Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic Party—and that their motive was not to help Trump, but to hurt Clinton.
The operative said they planned to “cause chaos in the upcoming U.S. election” to settle a grudge Russian President Vladimir Putin had against Clinton: what he believed was an “influence operation she had run against him.”
One of the U.S. intelligence offers told Time magazine that they "didn’t really understand the context of it until much later,” but now believe the Russians were discussing hacking the emails of the Democratic National Committee and Clinton aide John Podesta.
The officials “now realize that the officer’s boast was the first indication U.S. spies had from their sources that Russia wasn’t just hacking email accounts to collect intelligence but was also considering interfering in the vote,” according to Time.
While it’s extremely concerning that a foreign power would attempt to sway an American election, Putin’s focus on damaging Hillary Clinton could help exonerate Trump and his team—as it becomes clear they had no interest in helping his campaign win.

Watergate Attorney Makes Shocking Comments About Trump Scandal

The so-called “mainstream” media and establishment politicians can barely contain their glee.
Former FBI Director James Comey’s leaked memo that claimed Donald Trump had urged him to shut down the investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn has them all employing their Watergate analogies.
But an attorney on the Watergate investigative committee thinks there is just one big problem with these claims.
Michael Madigan was assistant Minority Counsel on the Watergate Committee.
He blasted the idea that Trump’s actions bear resemblance to those in the scandal that drove Nixon from power in 1974.

The shame is on the person who spray painted the memorial. You can destroy them, remove them and pretend that the Civil War NEVER happened BUT...you can't alter history, only in your own mind

'Shame' spray-painted on Confederate monument in Virginia

05/22/2017     The Norfolk City Council had decided against removing the monument in 2015.
Someone spray-painted the word “SHAME” in big yellow letters on the base of a Confederate monument in Norfolk, Virginia, making the city the latest to confront rising tensions over the preservation of such structures in public spaces.
Norfolk police are in the “preliminary stages of investigation” after officers responded to a vandalism report about 8:45 a.m. on Monday, department spokesman Daniel Hudson told HuffPost.
City workers removed the graffiti in less than two hours, Lori Crouch, the city’s corporate communications director, said.

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — The word "shame" has been spray-painted on a Confederate monument in Virginia.
Media outlets report Norfolk police spokesman Daniel Hudson says officers were called to the vandalism site Monday morning.
The Norfolk City Council decided in 2015 to keep the monument, despite pressure from a local civil rights group. At the top of the monument is a statue of Confederate soldier Johnny Reb.
The monument, which features a 15-foot bronze Confederate soldier perched atop a granite base, “commemorates the last reunion of surviving Confederate soldiers,” according to the Downtown Norfolk Council’s website. It was unveiled in 1907.
Many see such monuments as symbols of white supremacism and the slavery system that the South fought to maintain. The push to rid public spaces of Confederate iconography gained momentum after the June 2015 massacre at historic Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, where white supremacist Dylann Roof shot and killed nine black parishioners.
The Norfolk City Council, which included three black members at the time, decided against removing the downtown Confederate monument in September 2015. The black members agreed that removing the structure was unneccessary, The Virginian-Pilot reported.
Crouch said she wasn’t aware of any formal requests recently to have the city’s three Confederate statues taken down.
Norfolk Mayor Kenneth Cooper Alexander did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s requests for comment.
Joe Dillard, president of the NAACP’s Norfolk Chapter, speculated the vandalism could have been inspired by news coverage of a contentious battle in Charlottesville, Virginia, over its city council’s decision to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.
While Dillard said he believes the spray-painter in Norfolk was likely someone “disgusted and fed up with these monuments of hate,” he said his organization doesn’t condone the vandalism.
The suicide note goes to great lengths about Executive Order #13603 signed by President Obama on March 16, 2012.

ICE Agent Commits Suicide in NYC, Leaves a Suicide Note Revealing Govt’s Plans to Roundup & Disarm Americans :
An ICE agent who committed suicide in New York City left behind a suicide note that revealed plans for the federal government to roundup and disarm American citizens amid economic collapse.
After writing a lengthy suicide note exposing terrifying plans the government has for American citizens, a US Customs Agent walked onto a pier in NYC and blew his brains out.
Sources inside the New York City Police Department have revealed to SuperStation95, the contents of a suicide note found on the body and they are utterly frightening.
The note, which says it was written over the course of a full week in advance, outlines why the officer chose to shoot himself:
“The America I grew up in, and cherished, has been murdered by its own federal government.  Our Constitution has become meaningless and our laws politicized so badly, they are no longer enforced except for political purposes” the note said.  “Our elected officials are, to a person, utterly corrupt and completely devoid of any love or respect for the country which pays them.  To them, everything is about getting and keeping power, and making illicit money from backroom deals.”

Bermuda Triangle: Ship Reappears 90 Years After Going Missing        (As printed)

I'm lost as to what good seeing a MEMO written by Comey will do ? A memo written by him would depend on, how he felt that day, what he understood was said or what may be in his political agenda (or a cohorts agenda). BUT NO MATTER, IT SHOULD'NT BE CONSIDERED A "LEGAL DOCUMENT" Or any documentation of the TRUTH !

We need to see the Comey memo  17 May 2017 Norma

The press and the DC political class are all a-flutter over the New York Times story (link is external) that President Trump asked former FBI director James Comey to end the agency's investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
There are charges swirling that Trump obstructed justice, and may face impeachment for it. We agree that the charges leveled in the NYT article are very serious, and if true, would put Mr. Trump in great jeopardy of losing his job.
But it is also critical to understand -- as is usually the case with hot stories dropped late in the day -- that no one outside of the main parties involved knows exactly what was said. So far, all we have to go on is a memo that "one of Mr. Comey’s associates read parts of...to a Times reporter."
That's a mighty thin reed.
Representative Jason Chaffitz, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has sent a letter (link is external) to the FBI asking for "all memoranda, notes, summaries, and recordings referring or relating to any communications between Comey and the President." And he wants those documents by May 24th.
This is exactly the right thing to do, as is Chaffetz seeking to get Comey to testify before his committee (the Senate Intelligence Committee has extended a similar invitation).
The allegations are too big to be left to the armchair lawyering of pundits and pols. Get Comey's memos out in the open. Get him to testify about them -- under oath. And then, perhaps, we will have a clearer picture of exactly what happened in that meeting.
We need the details, the evidence, and the sworn testimony. When we have those in hand, then we can make a more reasoned judgement on what happened, why it happened, and what the consequences should be.
