Democratic electors pushing for Kasich |
The small group of Democratic presidential electors trying to sway their Republican counterparts to switch their votes to anyone but Trump continues apace. And now, they are making contact with the Clinton campaign. The reason? One of New York's electors is none other than Bill Clinton. But to its credit, Hillary's campaign is not overly receptive to the effort: The electors leading the anti-Trump push say they’re operating without regard to the Clinton campaign’s views and without its assistance. To some leaders of the anti-Trump effort, the lack of formal Democratic Party engagement is an asset as they attempt to woo Republicans. “We’re really doing this on our own,” said Polly Baca, a Democratic elector from Colorado and organizer of "Hamilton Electors," the group encouraging Republican defections from Trump. “This is something we have to do as electors. This is our responsibility.” But Clinton will not be able to avoid getting drawn into the Electoral College machinations. That’s because her husband —former President Bill Clinton — is a Democratic elector from New York. Aides to the former president have declined repeated requests for comment on whether he intends to fulfill the role or pass it to an alternate when New York’s Electoral College members convene in Albany on Dec. 19. Baca has indicated that she intends to reach out to all electors — including Clinton — for support |

The right thing for Clinton to do...step down BUT.....it's a clinton
Mike Pence Says Trump Has a Mandate Cal Thomas Posted: Dec 10, 2016
In an interview I conducted with Pence in his transitional office next to a sandwich shop in Washington, he said he believed voters gave Donald Trump a "mandate." How can that be when Hillary Clinton won the popular vote? "Trump won 30 out of 50 states. He won more counties than any Republican candidate since Ronald Reagan, and he undeniably reached Americans that Republican candidates haven't been reaching on the national level."
To help Trump accomplish his legislative goals, Pence plans to attend the weekly luncheon meeting with senators and meet on occasion with members of the House where he spent more than a decade as a representative from Indiana.
"My years on Capitol Hill have convinced me that it is often the informal settings where you can learn where the opportunities are, what challenges need to be met. The agenda we are laying out is as energetic as the man who was elected president. We have a 100-day agenda, a 200-day agenda."
I asked about Trump's pledges to spend on infrastructure, rebuild the military, the option of private care for veterans, paid for by the government. All of these will cost money and add to the debt.
Pence responds: "The president-elect, I think, believes everything begins with growth." Trump, he says, is counting on economic growth from repealing and replacing Obamacare and liberating corporations from unnecessary regulations. He foresees a wave of prosperity that will not add to the debt, but produce more tax revenue, even as taxes are cut for individuals and businesses. He adds that in the case of infrastructure, "encouraging public and private partnerships" will reduce the cost to government.
"The president-elect is absolutely committed to scrubbing the federal budget with the eye of a businessman," Pence said, "looking for efficiencies in every industry and looking for ways to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse and really meaning it."
Like the issue of Boeing and the new Air Force One planes, which Trump has said he would cancel, unless the costs come down? Trump and Dennis Muilenburg, Boeing chairman and CEO, spoke by phone and Muilenburg reportedly said he is committed to controlling costs.
Pence laughed, "Of course you can (control costs), if someone asks you to. Washington, D.C., is not accustomed to having someone in the Oval Office who actually asks people to sharpen their pencils."
According to Pence, Trump is "passionate about health savings accounts and the notion of giving people more ownership over their health care." He believes "consumer-directed health care is the wave of the future. It bends the cost curve, in some cases, very dramatically." He added, Indiana "is the first state to scale consumer-driven health care into Medicaid (which a Trump administration will propose block granting to the states). "We now have over 400,000 Hoosiers who are at, or near, the poverty level making a monthly contribution to a health savings account. They have an incentive to engage in preventive medicine. They're out of emergency room care and into primary care. ... The long-term prospect for lowering the cost of health care in America is a healthier America."
Trump needs to learn one thing in government.......TRUST NO ONE !!!
History has taught us that trade wars, directly or indirectly,
have a tendency to lead to shooting wars.
To avoid this, there should be no government involvement in trade. But the problem arises when the other side doesn't play by the same rules as we do. Then what do we do?
Hillary would be preparing her paybacks to national and international donors right now. Trump? He may have a few scores to settle but he doesn't appear to have any political debts or cronies to pander.
Trump seems all set up to tackle the international trade situation and to finally stem the hemorrhaging of money we pay in loan interest to countries like China.
But is he?

This Establishment Republican Is Already Trying To Betray Donald Trump
South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has been one of the leading mouthpieces for the Republican establishment.
He’s tried to sell out conservatives on so-called “climate change”, amnesty, raising the debt ceiling, and defunding ObamaCare.
And now Senator Graham is proposing legislation to undermine one of Donald Trump’s key campaign promises.
President-elect Donald Trump pledged to end Barack Obama’s executive orders that granted amnesty to illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as minors.
Obama granted this amnesty prior to the 2012 election in an effort to pander to the Hispanic vote.
Trump campaigned on overturning this executive amnesty.
And he is facing resistance from establishment Republicans.
Lindsey Graham was a member of the Gang of Eight that drafted the amnesty bill in 2013.

On Trumps inauguration day, obama will still be trying to issue orders or dictate laws
Obama Not Finished With Executive Actions ByKelly
On Monday, President Barack Obama issued his fifth executive order since the Nov. 8 election. In this case, it was to create a National Invasive Species Council to compile a report by 2020 on how to prevent such species from affecting climate change, food safety, and even military readiness.
Citing national security concerns, Obama issued another order on Friday blocking Chinese firm Fujian Grand Chip from buying Aixtron, a German company operating in California that produces crystalline layers used as semiconductors in U.S. weapons systems.
Executive orders aren’t the only means for Obama to act without Congress before he leaves office on Jan. 20.
A new policy on highly skilled immigrants, restrictions on for-profit colleges, and energy efficiency standards are among the matters that the administration wants that don’t require congressional authorization that the Obama administration is moving aggressively in the post-election to complete before Obama exits on Jan. 20.
“What I can rule out are any sort of hastily added executive actions,” @presssec says.

Mitt Romney received this bad news
Establishment-favorite Mitt Romney has been angling for the position of Secretary of State in the Trump administration.
He met twice with the President-elect, and many media outlets have reported he is one of the front runners for the job.
But Trump officials just gave the foreign policy establishment some really bad news.
Kellyanne Conway – President-elect Trump’s campaign manager – revealed in an interview with reporters in the lobby of the Trump Tower that the field of candidates for Secretary of State is expanding.
The Hill reports:

Trump Defends Billionaire Picks for Cabinet: 'They're So Proud to Do It'
President-elect Donald Trump defended his wealthy choices for Cabinet and top administrative posts, telling Iowa supporters Thursday they were "some of the most successful people in the world."
"One newspaper criticized me: 'Why can't they have people of modest means?'" Trump said at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, the third stop on his "thank you" tour of battleground states. "Because I want people who made a fortune, because now they are negotiating for you.
"It's no different than a great baseball player or a great golfer."
Trump's tour took him to North Carolina on Tuesday and to Ohio last week. He will address supporters in Louisiana and Michigan on Friday.
The president-elect has come under attack for his plans to nominate billionaires, corporate executives and Wall Street financiers to key advisory Cabinet positions.
They include former Goldman Sachs partner Steven Mnuchin as Treasury Secretary and investor Wilbur Ross to head the Commerce Department.
Trump said Wednesday he would nominate former World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon to lead the Small Business Administration. The nominees must be confirmed by the Senate.
Trump beat back the criticism Thursday, saying: "They're so proud to do it.
"These people have given up fortunes . . . to make a dollar a year."
He declared his choices were no longer "political appointments" — taking a veiled slap at Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson in saying he would announce his choice for the post, retired Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly, next week.
"We have a man . . . who is going to do a phenomenal job called Homeland Security," he told the crowd as he discussed his agenda on illegal immigration. "Used to be a political appointment.
"Now, it's like the most important appointment.
"He and his people are going to keep you safe. They're going to keep you safe. Not going to be games.
"These are no longer political appointments. These are talented people, smart people. Where they have to be, they're tough people.
"Is it okay to have some tough people?" Trump asked. "Because the enemy is tough, right?"
WikiLeaks Released This Statement About The U.S. Election
WikiLeaks emerged as a major player in the U.S. election.
The pro-transparency online activist group released tens of thousands of emails that exposed our rigged political system.
And on Election Day, WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, released a surprising statement about their role in the election.
For months, Democrats and other establishment Republicans have blasted WikiLeaks as a Russian front group out to elect Donald Trump.
Anti-Trump forces in America launched these attacks because the emails WikiLeaks released were obtained from the Democrat National Committee and Clinton Campaign Chairman, John Podesta.
The emails showed how national party staff colluded with the Clinton campaign to rig the primary against Bernie Sanders.
And emails from Podesta’s account demonstrated how so-called “journalists” were really Democrat party operatives, who worked with the Clintons to slant their coverage against Republicans.
Assange answered the charges of being pro-Trump in his statement.
He also reflected on the impact WikiLeaks had on the U.S. election.
Zero Hedge reports he wrote the following:
“We publish as fast as our resources will allow and as fast as the public can absorb it.Liberals were outraged that WikiLeaks exposed their corrupt dealings.
That is our commitment to ourselves, to our sources, and to the public.
This is not due to a personal desire to influence the outcome of the election. The Democratic and Republican candidates have both expressed hostility towards whistleblowers. I spoke at the launch of the campaign for Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate, because her platform addresses the need to protect them. This is an issue that is close to my heart because of the Obama administration’s inhuman and degrading treatment of one of our alleged sources, Chelsea Manning. But WikiLeaks publications are not an attempt to get Jill Stein elected or to take revenge over Ms Manning’s treatment either.
Publishing is what we do. To withhold the publication of such information until after the election would have been to favour one of the candidates above the public’s right to know.
This is after all what happened when the New York Times withheld evidence of illegal mass surveillance of the US population for a year until after the 2004 election, denying the public a critical understanding of the incumbent president George W Bush, which probably secured his reelection. The current editor of the New York Times has distanced himself from that decision and rightly so.
The US public defends free speech more passionately, but the First Amendment only truly lives through its repeated exercise. The First Amendment explicitly prevents the executive from attempting to restrict anyone’s ability to speak and publish freely. The First Amendment does not privilege old media, with its corporate advertisers and dependencies on incumbent power factions, over WikiLeaks’ model of scientific journalism or an individual’s decision to inform their friends on social media. The First Amendment unapologetically nurtures the democratization of knowledge. With the Internet, it has reached its full potential.”
While she was a CNN contributor, current Democrat National Committee Chairwoman, Donna Brazil, leaked debate questions to the Clinton campaign.
The emails also exposed how the elites in Washington band together to continue their way of life by planning out administration jobs and mapping out how they will work to keep outsiders at bay.
No matter what happens in the election, WikiLeaks is here to stay.
They will continue to be a thorn in the side of the establishment because of their corrupt dealings kept secret from the American people.
Trere's something wrong with requiring police or sheriff to be a U S citizen ?? To enforce U.S. citie, state and federal laws ?..........HURRY UP JANUARY 20th
Sheriff’s Department Is Being Fined $10,000 For Only Hiring U.S. Citizens.
If you wanted to get a job with the Denver Sheriff’s Department, you needed to meet the job requirements just like anywhere else. But there was one difference. Job seekers would be automatically disqualified from a job at the Denver Sheriff’s department if they were not a U.S. citizen.
Most people thought this was fair. If you want to protect and serve America, you should at least be an American, right?
And as the Department cut millions of dollars in overtime pay from their overworked deputies, they aimed to hire scores of new people and put them on the streets to protect Denver. To get one of their largest applicant pools in history, the department placed an ad and listed U.S. citizenship as a requirement. They thought there wouldn’t be a problem. But the government didn’t like it…

New York City wants $35 million from the federal government for Trumps security

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump speaks at a rally as part of their ''USA Thank You Tour 2016'' in Cincinnati, Ohio, December 1, 2016 . New York City is asking the U.S. government for up to $35 million to cover security costs related to President-elect Donald Trump, Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Monday. Trump has spent the majority of his time since Election Day in his apartment at Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan, forcing police to work with the U.S. Secret Service to provide intensified security measures in one of the city's busiest neighborhoods. The pendulum swinging back on conceal carry Concealed Carry Permits Hit Record High
This is great news for responsible gun owners. More and more Americans are getting our CCW permits.
And if anyone tells you its easy, it's not. A family member just had his sent back because he's forgotten to write in his weight! The judges who sign permit requests here in Virginia take their responsibility to the public seriously, even if most of us wonder why there's a judge involved in the first place.
In a country where our right to bear arms is inalienable, it's a good idea that the good guys have guns as well as the bad guys.
Congratulations to all Americans who are making our homeland a safer place. And thanks to a president-elect who gets it. Let's hope his conceal carry campaign promises become reality.

Loretta Lynch Latest Move Infuriated Conservatives
Electoral College voters are facing terrible harassment and death threats to try and force them to vote for someone other than Donald Trump.
The harassment campaign – whom many including Rush Limbaugh believe is being pushed by Hillary Clinton and the Democrats – is designed to deny Trump the Presidency and throw the election to the House of Representatives.
Despite the criminal threats being made against electors, Loretta Lynch and the Department of Justice are refusing to investigate.
Much has been in the media of the wave of so-called “hate crimes” against minorities in the wake of Trump’s win.
Despite the fact there is little proof of any such wave – and in fact quite a few of these “crimes” have been proved to be hoaxes, there is little attention being paid to the very real threat electors in states where Trump won have faced.
And the Department of Justice is refusing to investigate threats against the physical safety of Electoral College voters.

Trump Can Use Executive Power To Implement Immigration Policies
President-elect Donald Trump will be able to make many of his promised changes in immigration policy unilaterally. And he can do this by exercising the same executive powers he criticized President Barack Obama for using. Most of the measures in Trump's ten-point immigration policy plan on Trump's transition website could be set in motion without legislative approval. But legal experts say fully implementing them would require funding that Congress would have to approve. Changes to homeland security would be expensive, and requiring a huge expansion of immigration courts and detention facilities. More deportations would also require more staff at every level of the system to investigate, apprehend and process the targeted immigrants. And Immigration courts already have a backload of more than 500 thousand cases.

GOP plotting massive taxpayer bailout to save Obamacare
By D.E Dec 5, 2016
By D.E Dec 5, 2016
You just got sold out.
As Obamacare sputters into its eighth year, the Republican leaders elected on a promise to repeal the boondoggle are instead planning a massive taxpayer-funded bailout of Obamacare insurance policies.
“Republican congressional staffers are in talks with insurers about policies they could implement to help improve their financial situation in that interim period and prevent a breakdown in the market, according to three Republican lobbyists,” Capitol Hill insider newspaper “The Hill” reports.
“Any policies favorable to insurers could be politically treacherous for Republicans, given that they have railed for years against ObamaCare “bailouts” of insurance companies. It is also unclear if any
policy changes would be enough to convince insurers to stay,” The Hill reports.
“They (Republicans) want to pump money back in to the insurers without appearing like they’re giving them a handout or bailing them out,” an anonymous lobbyist tells The Hill.
Republican also say they’re planning a “repeal” strategy that would take several years, instead of happening all at once.
With Democrats just three seats away from a Senate majority, and the party not in control of the White House traditionally gaining seats in the next election, that means Democrats will almost certainly at some point retake the Senate before Obamacare can be repealed — saving the program.
Instead of Obamacare being repealed as promised, under Republican leadership the most likely scenario is insurance companies will receive billions of tax dollars in bailout funds for a repeal the GOP knows will never be completed.

Should You Get Ready For a Reichstag Event? John T
Americans are notorious for not knowing their history. This may not be unique among people worldwide, but I can definitively state that about my fellow Americans. And it’s not just American history that they don’t know; Americans tend to know even less about world history. Now that I’ve said that, you have a valid reason to ask, “Why should I care?” Great question. The answer is:Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.
You see, human nature doesn’t change, and governments pull tactics that have worked in the past, and they recycle them and reuse them again in the present and in the future. For example, take the Reichstag fire in 1933. There are conflicting stories about who started the fire (the official story is that a Dutch communist did it, but some people think it was set by the Nazis to provide an excuse for what they did next.), but what is abundantly clear is that the Nazis used the Reichstag fire as their justification for suspending civil liberties and starting to arresting people that they accused of being communists. Basically, this was the beginning of the Nazi reign of terror in Germany.
