The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals used to be reliably liberal. So much so, that Democrats often used it to force their agenda through.
But thanks to Donald Trump, many left-leaning judges were replaced by true constitutionalists.
That said, their decisions can still be hit-or-miss. And in one of their first big cases of the year, they made a troubling ruling over the Second Amendment.
From IJR:
A federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that carrying guns in public is not a constitutional right protected by the Second Amendment.Wednesday’s ruling by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco reversed a prior decision that struck down a Hawaii firearm restriction as unconstitutional.
But that’s not the end of the story. Because the Supreme Court is likely to get involved.
“The Ninth Circuit’s opinion, which finds the Second Amendment right does not apply outside the home at all, contradicts the decisions of every federal circuit court in the country that has ruled on this issue,” Beck said in an email to the outlet.“We will be seeking Supreme Court review in order to overturn the Ninth Circuit’s erroneous decision.”
The 9th Circuit’s ruling effectively says Americans can not only open carry their firearms, but it can be stretch to ban all forms of carrying outside the home.
States often pass laws that allow or ban various forms of firearm carrying. Some states let you open carry. Others let you conceal carry.
But all of this is based on the Second Amendment, which prevents the government from taking away our right to own firearms.
The liberal judges of this court seem to think that does not extend outside our home, which millions of Americans will think is ludicrous.
While the 9th Circuit has limited jurisdiction, expect Democrats to try to twist this ruling to extend to the entire country.
Those who filed the lawsuit vowed to take it to the Supreme Court, which will be forced to weigh in on the issue.
The ruling of the SCOTUS could determine various forms of carrying across the United States. They can uphold our rights or dash them in one case.
Key Takeaways:
- The 9th Circuit Court ruled against open carry of firearms.
- The decision seems to suggest all forms of carrying are unconstitutional.
- The case might end up in the Supreme Court.

My favorite part of Joe Biden's press conference was when a reporter askedim if he thought the filibuster was Jim Crowy. Biden answered with a resounding "yes." Then when the reporter logically followed up with "if you really feel that way, why not abolish it now?" it caught him off guard. There was an awkward silence, because he only knew the "imply opponents are racist" answer. He wasn't expecting a follow-up!
The truth of the matter is Democrats only seem to think things are racist when they're not the ones doing it. Fox News' Peter Doocy had a perfect example. Did Senator Joe Biden think the filibuster was racist when Senator Joe Biden supported the filibuster?
PETER DOOCY: The president said he thinks he filibuster is a legacy of the Jim Crow era. Did he think that it was a legacy of the Jim Crow era in 2005, when he defended the filibuster and said "altering Senate rules to help one political fight or another could become standard operating procedure, which in my view would be disastrous"?JEN PSAKI: This is why no one called on your yesterday, Doocy. Or should I call you DOUCHEY? Get it? Because I think you're a douche.
I would have followed up with a more recent example. Was it a legacy of the Jim Crow era when Democrats filibustered Sen. Tim Scott's police reform bill in 2020? There is an argument to be made that Democrats calling Scott's office and shouting death threats and racial slurs at him was a legacy of the Jim Crow era. But what about the white Democrats who filibustered Sen. Scott's bill? Inquiring minds want to know!
Inquiring mind unfortunately are most likely poop out of luck. After yesterday's debacle, I doubt they'll let Biden talk to the press again any time soon.
START WITH THE "LEADERS" OF BOTH THE HOUSE AND SENATE....need I list names..??
IT SEEMS THAT MOST MEMBERS OF CONGRESS HAVE FORGOTTEN THIS VERY FACT...THEY NEED TO BE FORCEFULLY REMINDED

Biden owns it...The border WAS under control when he came into office....

On Thursday, Joe Biden gave his first press conference which he spent discussing the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border.
He essentially blamed everything on President Donald Trump. In particular, he blamed his predecessor for “dismantling” all of the detention infrastructures that are so desperately needed right now due to a new influx of migrants.
Two things:
— The Trump administration closed those facilities because Trump’s tough enforcement policies worked and they were no longer needed.
— Those policies included returning migrants to their home countries, ending family separation, striking agreements with Central American countries to require their citizens to apply for asylum at home, not at the U.S. border; and the “Remain in Mexico” policy.
— In addition, Trump threatened to cut off aid to the Central American countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras if their governments did not do more to control their own borders.
Biden ended all of those policies and agreements no sooner than he sat behind the Resolute Desk, where his handlers had a stack of executive orders waiting for him to sign. And he gladly did.
Now that the situation, predictably, is out of control along the border again — migrants have said they are returning to the U.S. and crossing illegally because they knew Biden changed Trump’s policies — the president has handed the problem off to his replacement-in-waiting, Kamala Harris, with these very bizarre, but very understandable instructions: Be more like Trump.
“The Vice President agreed … agreed to lead our diplomatic effort and work with those nations to accept returnees, and enhanced migration enforcement at their borders — at their borders,” Biden said in an afternoon press conference [emphasis added]. “We’re already talking to Mexico about that,” he revealed.
The VP will work with “the countries that need help in stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border,” Biden explained.
Breitbart News reports:
President Joe Biden directed Vice-President Kamala Harris on Wednesday to get the Mexican and Central American governments to forcibly block poor migrants moving towards the United States. …
The shift marks a rhetorical turnaround for the administration, which used its first days in office to demolish the multiple layers of border protections created by President Donald Trump. Those protections included diplomatic agreements with Central American countries, plus the Remain in Mexico policy that allowed the U.S. to keep migrants out of U.S. jobs while waiting for asylum claims to be processed by U.S. courts.
“I look forward to engaging in diplomacy with government, with private sector, with civil society and the leaders of each in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras, to strengthen democracy and the rule of law, and ensure shared prosperity in the region,” Harris said after Biden handed his mess off to her.
That’s good; maybe her first phone call should be to the former president she and her boss love to vilify. He can fill her on all the details.
Meantime, the migrant families and children are continuing to stream towards the U.S., allowing Mexican cartels to get richer and the Central American countries to lose more and more of their own skilled labor and population base.
What a disaster.
Of course it's Bidens' fault....This is what the demoRats want...!!.....Dem. voters

Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador blamed Biden’s immigration policies as the cause of the current border crisis during a press conference on TuesdayMexico President blames Biden for current border crisis
“Expectations were created that with the Government of President Biden there would be better treatment of migrants,” said Obrador. “And this has caused Central American migrants, and also from our country, wanting to cross the border thinking that it is easier to do so.”
Biden sent a group to the region in an attempt to address the current crisis, during which Mexico’s Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said that there needs to be “humanitarian actions” that would promote economic development designed to address the reasons people leave Central America for the US.
The Biden administration has blamed Trump for the crisis at the border. While blaming Trump, the current administration has rolled back his policies designed to curb back illegal immigration, such as stopping the border wall construction, placing a 100-day moratorium on deportations, and ending a “Remain in Mexico” policy.
“There was a system in place in both Republican and Democratic administrations, that was torn down during the Trump administration, and that is why the challenge is more acute than it ever has been before,” said Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
“We are rebuilding the orderly systems that the Trump administration tore down to avoid the need for these children to actually take the perilous journey,” continued Mayorkas
