SO... TELL ME HOW THIS WORKS, THE "LEAGUE OF THE SOUTH" IS A HATE GROUP.....THE "BLACK PANTHERS" IS NOT...THEY'RE O K

Two Alabama Officers Put on Leave for Alleged Ties to 'Hate Group'Jun 17 2015,

The City of Anniston, Alabama, placed two police officers on administrative leave Wednesday, following a watchdog group's article alleging the pair are members of an organization described as a hate group.
The article, published on the Southern Poverty Law Center blog Hatewatch, states Lt. Josh Doggrell and Lt. Wayne Brown belong to the League of the South, a group the organization describes as "neo-Confederate." According to the watchdog, the League advocates for a Southern secession and a society dominated by "European Americans."
The city responded to the article by placing the two on leave and starting an investigation, according to a statement released by spokeswoman Aziza Jackson.

How about Rachel Dolezal ? I know she's still alive BUT, she's a woman, she's white, she's black and that alive part could be fixed

The Sawbuck is getting a little less masculine.
The U.S. Treasury threw a curve ball at advocates who were pressing to get a woman on the $20 bill, announcing Wednesday that it's going to put one on a redesigned $10 bill, instead.
Treasury Secretary Jack Lew told reporters that the new notes are being timed for 2020, in part to mark the 100th anniversary of the constitutional amendment that gave women the right to vote.
"Our democracy is a work in progress," Lew said, adding: "This decision of putting a woman in the $10 bill reflects our aspirations for the future as much as a reflection of the past."
The public will be able to weigh in on who should replace Alexander Hamilton — the first ever U.S. secretary of the Treasury — at the New 10 website or on Twitter at the hashtag#theNew10

Speaking truth to power is uncomfortable for those in power.

David Martosko is the U.S. political editor for The Daily Mail (an awesome paper, by the way). He was meant to represent his news organization in Hillary Clinton’s press pool on Monday morning.
He was turned away.
“I got there when I was told to get there,” he said to Megyn Kelly last night on her show. “Quarter to eight, I showed up at the parking lot, told them who I was, and they said, ‘No, you can’t come.'”
Martosko also said that he was told around midnight on Monday that the Hillary camp wanted a different person from his news organization representing the pool. That’s probably due to the fact that he had tweeted over the weekend that too many journalists covering Hillary were reporting only what she wanted them to report.
Still, the idea of a political candidate picking and choosing who covers her is not in line with American values.
To their credit, fellow members of the press pool rebuffed Hillary and effectively said, “No, you can’t decide who gets to cover you.”

Sheriff under fire for preaching at church in uniform---So...as Sheriff, he can't have a religion ? If this is a law, then the LAW needs to be CHANGED

By Todd Starnes, Fox Nation
A Florida sheriff is facing outrage ['Only from the Freedom From Religion Foundation']      after he delivered a Sunday morning sermon while wearing his uniform.
The Freedom From Religion Foundation says Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd broke the law when he delivered that sermon at the First Baptist Church in Lakeland. They fired off a three-page letter accusing the sheriff of "promoting the church and its religious views."
They wrote, "In your official capacity as an officer of the government, you are bound by the Establishment Clause and cannot abuse that office to promote your personal religious choices."
Watch the video above to see what Sheriff Judd had to say in an interview I conducted this morning.

A biker arrested after the shootings at the Twin Peaks on May 17 that killed nine and left 18 injured in Waco said Monday he was falsely imprisoned for more than two weeks.
"We're supposed to believe in our justice system and that it's supposed to operate in a way that protects us and also a way of 'innocent until proven guilty,'" said Matthew
Alan Clendennen. "It seems very obvious here, they took the opposite approach, 'guilty until proven guilty.'"

A House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing was briefly interrupted this morning after a bomb threat was called in to a hearing room in the Rayburn House Office Building, authorities said.
U.S. Capitol Police cleared the room after a sweep by a K-9 unit. No hazardous materials were discovered, according to Capitol Police public information officer Lt. Kimberly Schneider.
When the threat came in, Rep. Ed Royce, R-California, called a 15-minute recess for the hearing, which featured U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power, to allow Capitol Police to investigate, Royce said in a statement.
"Following an evacuation of the hearing room and adjoining Committee offices, the Capitol Police investigated the situation and determined that it was safe for the hearing to resume," he said.
Royce commended the police when the hearing resumed. "We appreciate work of the Capitol Police and appreciate their work ensuring the safety of this hearing," he said.
The hearing was evacuated one week after a portion of the Dirksen Senate office building and the White House Press Briefing Room were evacuated after phoned in bomb threats.
An officer on the scene at Rayburn told ABC News the same caller is suspected, though Capitol Police have not verified the identity of today's caller at this stage of their investigation.

U.S. Navy Yard in Philadelphia. Google

The U.S. Navy Yard in Philadelphia got an "all clear" Tuesday afternoon after a threat forced some evacuations and triggered heightened security measures, officials told NBC News.

The threat, the nature of which was not immediately known, was eventually deemed not imminent.

Some buildings were at least temporarily evacuated. The Navy Yard had said its non-essential personnel had been sent home for the day, but the yard remained open.

I'm sorry, this is a 12 year old who looks to be rather small. This is a grown, male cop. He couldn't control or subdu this kid w/out using a chokehold and then a taser ? If the cop is that weak and frail, HE SHOULDN'T BE A POLICEMAN !! Seems like lately, all the cops know to do is BEAT, TASE OR SHOOT [even in the back]....EVEN KIDS

Police defend use of Taser against 12-year-old boy....... I wonder why he didn't shoot the kid ?

Obama Introduces a Dozen New Regulations Aimed at Your Right to Bear Arms

35571702_s     Even though Obama’s a lame duck President, don’t for one second think he’s going to let this last year and a half of his presidency just slide on by.
It looks like Obama and the Justice Department are going to introduce roughly a dozen new regulations to limit the freedoms of Americans on gun ownership.
Many of these regulations will be aimed at those who are deemed to be mentally unfit for gun ownership. Others will work to limit the ability of those accused of domestic violence from obtaining or keeping weapons.
It’s just another long list of regulations which clearly do infringe on a person’s second amendment rights.
The Hill reports other regulations will be aimed at restricting high-powered pistols as well on gun storage requirements.

This girl wants it both ways, whichever is beneficial to her, Identifies as being BLACK, but sued Howard U. for discrimination because she is WHITE.....CAN YOU SAY "RACE BAITER" ?

Ousted Spokane NAACP head sued Howard U. for discrimination, claiming she was white
Published June 16, 2015   FoxNews.com

Rachel Dolezal, the former head of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP, sued Howard University after she received her graduate degree there, claiming the historically black college had discriminated against her because she was white.
Dolezal resigned as president of the Spokane NAACP Monday, just days after her parents told local media outlets that their daughter had misrepresented herself as fully or partially black. In reality, they said, their daughter's ancestry is German, Swedish, and Czech, with some Native American background as well.
WTTG reported that Dolezal filed her lawsuit against Howard in 2002, asking for damages due to "medical and emotional distress."
Dolezal, who then went by her married name, Rachel Moore, claimed the university blocked her appointment as a teaching assistant, failed to hire her as an art teacher upon graduation and removed some of her pieces from a student art exhibition in favor of works by African-American students. In 2005, the D.C. appeals court upheld a lower court's ruling throwing out the lawsuit and Dolezal was ordered to pay the university $2,700 to cover the costs of the lawsuit.
WTTG also reported that Dolezal had received three speeding tickets in Virginia, where she lived while attending school, in 2000, 2001, and 2003. All three court documents listed her race as white.
David Smedley, an associate professor of sculpture at Howard, told the Washington Post that Dolezal's race was never in question during her time at the school

Terrorist threats against anti-jihad activist Pamela Geller are apparently spreading to the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip

Weekend talk-radio host Aaron Klein today conducted a pre-recorded interview with Abu Al-Ayna al-Ansari, a leader of a Salafi group in the Gaza Strip that is allied with Islamic State ideology.
Al-Ansari’s organization has been battling Hamas for influence in Gaza.
READ The free WND special report “ISIS Rising,” by Middle East expert and former Department of Defense analyst Michael Maloof, will answer your questions about the jihadist army threatening the West.
Ansari previously has granted interviews with Arabic-language news media outlets. Klein told the radio audience he decided to not conduct the interview live for fear the jihadist may issue direct threats against individuals or countries.

“My purpose in conducting this interview is to give Americans a window into the mind set of ISIS,” Klein announced. “What do they really want? What’s their expansive agenda? Can there ever be peace or compromise with ISIS? However, this radio show will not be used by any jihadist as a platform to spew specific threats.”

Gun maker Colt files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection

Fortune on MSN.com · 4 hours ago

Colt Defense LLC, maker of 'The Gun That Won The West,' said late Sunday it's filing for bankruptcy, two years after losing a key Army contract for the M4.

The filing follows increasingly desperate attempts to restructure its debt over the last two years, the last of which was rejected by a large majority of bondholders. It has secured $20 million in financing from senior lenders in order to ensure it can keep operating in bankruptcy. A court-supervised auction of some of the company’s assets is now expected.

Colt, now based in West Hartford, Conn., rose to prominence in the mid-19th century under its eponymous founder, Samuel. The company’s most famous product, the single-action “Peacemaker” pistol (also known as the Colt .45), was standard issue to the U.S. Cavalry after the Civil War, and its legend was burnished by association with real-life figures such as Gen. George S. Patton, and by fictional ones in numerous Western movies such as John Wayne’s “True Grit”.
However, the company’s recent past has been checkered. It has already had one spell in Chapter 11, emerging from it in 1994. The Wall Street Journal reported that alternative investment firm Sciens Management had most recently been listed as 87% owner of the company, with some of its principals indirectly owning stakes in the West Hartford manufacturing facilities.

Emergency personnel responded to a report of a possible plane crash in southwest Missouri Monday, but did not find what they were looking for.
Instead, the ambulances, law enforcement officers and several other emergency responders came across a man washing his jet-powered semi nicknamed “Shockwave.”
Owner Neal Darnell’s neighbors called 911 after hearing a loud noise and seeing smoke over their tree line.
The Springfield News-Leader reports Darnell had recently raced the vehicle on a dirt course, so it needed to be washed. The vehicle can reach 376 miles per hour and in order to wash  the 36,000-horsepower truck, Darnell has to use jet engines, which make a lot of noise and create white smoke.
"We do it from time to time and it will usually generate a couple of 911 calls, but today for some reason it brought out a whole army of emergency vehicles," Darnell said. He also said he doesn't blame the neighbors for being concerned.
A Green County sheriff’s deputy told the newspaper that no citations were issued and that the neighbors had acted in good faith because they believed someone might be in danger.
Darnell said he takes Shockwave to truck shows across the country, where it does things like setting stacks of cars on fire or racing fighter planes.

Obama transfers six more Gitmo detainees, including alleged
bin Laden bodyguards

0613 gitmo transfers.jpg

Six detainees at the Guantanamo Bay detention center, including two alleged Usama bin Laden bodyguards, have been transferred to Oman, the Pentagon said Saturday.

The terror-related detainees are all from neighboring and embattled Yemen. They departed Friday from the U.S. detention center, at a Naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, created in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks to get terror suspects off battlefields.

This is the first time in roughly the past five months that Guantanamo suspects have been transferred, as Congress considers new restrictions on such moves.

President Obama campaigned in 2008 to close the facility. The new transfers mark the departure of more than half of the 242 detainees who were at the facility when Obama was sworn into office in 2009. The number is now 116.

National Security Council spokesman Ned Price on Saturday repeated the Obama administration’s argument that keeping open the facility weakens national security by draining resources, damages U.S. relations with key allies and partners and emboldens violent extremists.

“As the president has repeatedly made clear, the administration is determined to close the” facility, he said. “We are taking all possible steps to reduce the detainee population at Guantanamo and to close the detention facility in a responsible manner.”

Congressional Republicans and other critics of releasing detainees argue they have the strong potential to return to the battlefield or commit other acts of terror
