𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦: Nature Journal

Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong.
Keep skunks, bankers, and politicians at a distance.
Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.
A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor.
Words that soak into your ears are whispered, not yelled.
The best sermons are lived, not preached.
If you don't take the time to do it right, you'll find the time to do it twice.
Don't corner something that is meaner than you.
Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.
It don’t take a very big person to carry a grudge.
You cannot unsay a cruel word.
Every path has a few puddles.
When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty.
Don't be banging your shin on a stool that's not in the way.
Borrowing trouble from the future doesn't deplete the supply.
Most of the stuff people worry about ain’t never gonna happen anyway.
Don’t judge folks by their relatives.
Silence is sometimes the best answer.
Don‘t interfere with somethin’ that ain’t botherin' you none.
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.
If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin’.
Sometimes you get, and sometimes you get got.
The biggest troublemaker you’ll ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every mornin’.
Always drink upstream from the herd.
Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.
Lettin’ the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin’ it back in.
If you get to thinkin’ you’re a person of some influence, try orderin’ somebody else’s dog around.
Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you’ll enjoy it a second time.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.
Most times, it just gets down to common sense.

“Smoking Gun” Reported After Biden Admin Refuses To Turn Over Documents  Presidential Hill

(Presidential Hill) A watchdog is suing President Biden's justice dept for not releasing data relating to the FBI's examination into links between Donald Trump's campaign and the Russian government. The former president declassified the records (PresidentialHill.com)- A watchdog is suing President Joe Biden’s Justice Department for not releasing data relating to the FBI’s failed examination into links between Donald Trump’s campaign and the Russi government. The former president declassified the records.

Judicial Watch is suing the DOJ to seek the records and interactions between DOJ officials and agency workers on declassification. The lawsuit was launched on August 1 after the conservative watchdog submitted a Freedom of Information Act request in February.

Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said the Obama-Biden Administration and Deep State eavesdropping on Trump and his associates is the most significant government corruption scandal in American history, and to make matters worse, the Biden DOJ refuses to produce smoking gun documentation concerning this malfeasance that the American people have a right to view.

Trump released a memo on Jan. 19, 2021, declassifying documents in a binder the DOJ sent the White House in December 2020 on the “Crossfire Hurricane” inquiry. The binder’s materials never saw the light of day as the DOJ requested to redact them for privacy concerns, as documented in a memo by then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, who promised the DOJ he would return the papers.

Then-Special Counsel Robert Mueller found in 2019 that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia.

Meadows stated in his 2021 memo, originally acquired by Just the News in July, that the DOJ’s difficulties with disclosing the information were unnecessary, given that the president’s executive office is excluded from the Privacy Act. The 1974 Privacy Act prohibits agencies from revealing records “to any person or another agency” without “the prior written agreement of the subject to whom the data belongs.”

Meadows noted that the swamp is pretty deep. He said that when we look at it, this president was all about draining the swamp. When he got there, he understood that the swamp was deep, but they would fight back.

Judicial Watch requests the DOJ to reimburse its attorneys’ fees and other litigation records while releasing FOIA records.

It’s war.

Judicial Watch

Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for records ordered declassified and released by President Trump the day before he left office. The records relate to “Crossfire Hurricane,” the controversial spy operation against President Trump, his 2016 presidential campaign, and other Trump associates, and have yet to be made public by the Biden Administration (Judicial Watch, Inc. v U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:22-cv-02264)).

WSJ says Smith & Wesson subpoena crosses the line   By Cam Edwards | Aug 17, 2022

The House Oversight Commmittee’s subpoena of Smith & Wesson demanding “granular” details about its sales of modern sporting rifles isn’t just an attempt at “character assassination”, according to the editors of the Wall Street Journal, it’s likely to be laughed out of court.

My colleague Tom Knighton wrote about Smith & Wesson’s response to the subpoena earlier today, but on today’s Bearing Arms’ Cam & Co we’re taking a closer look at the support the gun company is getting from the editorial page of one of the biggest papers in the country. The WSJ editors pull no punches in their takedown of House Oversight chair Rep. Carolyn Maloney’s subpoena of the gun company, describing it as character assassination as well as a legally dubious move.

The dispute between the House Oversight Committee and Smith & Wesson escalated Monday when the company objected to the committee’s subpoena. Committee Democrats, led by Chair Carolyn Maloney, are demanding that the manufacturer produce sales and revenue figures for its AR-15-style sporting rifles. The company says the subpoena squashed months of good-faith efforts to cooperate.

“Congress must clearly spell out with even more specificity why it needs the granular level of information requested by the committee,” wrote the company’s lawyer Mark Paoletta in an Aug. 15 letter to the committee. The letter says Smith & Wesson has already provided detailed records of its rifle sales since House Oversight started investigating the industry in May. That wasn’t good enough for Ms. Maloney, yet she hasn’t described a legislative need for more specific data.

It's not just real guns Hochul is going after
By Tom Knighton | Aug 17, 2022

Gov. Kathy Hochul took office via the back door. She wasn’t elected governor, after all. She moved into the job after her predecessor, the notoriously anti-gun Andrew Cuomo, was forced out amid allegations of sexual harassment.

My hope when she took office was to see someone less vehemently anti-gun in office. After all, while Hochul spouted anti-gun nonsense in her statewide campaign, she’d been pro-gun when holding more localized offices. Surely she wouldn’t be as bad as Cuomo.

Oh, but she is.

While Cuomo contented himself primarily with the gun industry, Hochul is even going after toy guns.

Jim Jordan Explains Why The F.B.I. Just Adde d Another Nail To The Coffin

turns out that egregiously targeting an innocent person, lying, and orchestrating witch hunts pisses a lot of people off…

If it goes on long enough, it even threatens to piss off the people involved or adjacent to perpetrating the lying and the witch hunts in the first place.

This is essentially what Rep. Jim Jordan told the media and the nation following the clearly political raids on Mar-A-Lago.

Rep. Jordan explains that a lot more F.B.I. whistleblowers are likely to come forward as a result of this clearly political witch hunt and that many already have…

Alan Dershowitz recently voiced a similar sentiment by explaining that this raid likely strengthened support for President Trump and completely shot out the credibility from under the federal agencies.

Are we witnessing the beginning of the end for the F.B.I?

Perhaps we are, as I have said before, it is an agency of degenerates started by a degenerate, so here’s to hoping that the environment becomes completely inhospitable to that species of bureaucrat very, very soon.

Here are the latest developments in this ongoing story:

Obama Caught On Video: “You Just Have To…”

Man these people are vile!
Yesterday we brought you Nancy Pelosi captured on video explaining how to smear someone.
How charming!
She walks you through step-by-step.
If you missed it, you can see that here:

This is really something… A new clip is going viral today of Nancy Pelosi where she breaks down and explains exactly how one of her “dirty political tricks” works. It’s called the “Wrap Up Smear” — isn’t it nice how she names them? The video clip appears to perhaps be from around the 2017 era … Continue reading

And now today it just so happens we have Obama caught in asimilar moment.
This is really ugly an disgusting, but the clip is real.

  Judicial Watch

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding today’s release of the Trump raid warrant materials by the Biden Justice Department:

We’re pleased Judicial Watch legal pressure forced the partial release of warrant materials about the Biden administration’s political raid on the home of former President Trump. Judicial Watch expects and demands the underlying warrant affidavit and other materials be immediately disclosed. The U.S. Constitution and federal law give unreviewable authority to President Trump to take whatever records he wishes at the end of his presidency. The Biden administration’s dishonest depiction of personal records of President Trump it illicitly seized during the raid as “classified” is further demonstration that the raid was a brazen act of raw political abuse.
On August 9, Judicial Watch filed a motion asking the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to unseal as soon as possible the search warrant materials used by the FBI to raid the Florida home (U.S. v. Sealed Search Warrant (No. 9:22-mj-08332)).

Attorney General Garland set a fire with Trump raid and is clueless about how to put it out   Friday, August 12, 2022

At his Thursday press conference Attorney General Garland added very little to what we already knew about the FBI and the Trump raid

AG Garland should be treading very carefully: John Yoo

Former Justice Thomas law clerk John Yoo and Former assistant US attorney Andy McCarthy weigh in on the latest from the FBI raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate on 'Your World.'
Attorney General MerricGarlandk  proved Thursday that he is better at starting a fire than at putting one out. Earlier this week, the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) executed a warrant, in search of evidence of a crime, of a former president’s home.

This in itself was without precedent in all of American history. Presidents who have risked impeachment or close, such as Andrew Jackson, Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton, never suffered such a search. In fact, DOJ prosecutors have never indicted a former president with a federal crime. That the former president is Donald J. Trump only multiplied the inevitable controversy.

While DOJ remained silent, consistent with Department policy not to comment on ongoing investigations, Trump loudly attacked the FBI for violating his constitutional rights, failing to apply the law equally, and persecuting him for political purposes.

At Thursday’s press conference, Garland did nothing to address the serious questions surrounding the search. While he admitted to authorizing the search, he correctly observed that a federal court had approved the constitutionality of the warrant and that federal rules prevent him from disclosing anything more.

He announced that DOJ would ask the Florida federal court to unseal the warrant and the inventory of things seized, though he left out the critical affidavit used to justify the need for a search warrant. In other words, Garland added virtually nothing to what is already known.

This stance will frustrate the media and the public, though it is consistent with federal rules that make many search warrant materials secret out of concern for the privacy of the target (who in this case should want all information public), to protect confidential sources, and to keep secret the course of the investigation. This is all standard practice — if the target were a normal target.

Under the Constitution and federal rules, a court cannot issue a search warrant unless probable cause exists that evidence will be found of a crime.

(In this case, they didn't have any evidence so they issued the warrant so the FBI could go look for evidence so that Trump CAN be charged with a crime.)

NOT HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO WORK !!

Trump Learns What FBI Really Took, Demands Agency Immediately Return It By Jack Davis August 14, 2022

One day after a report claiming the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago last week led to the seizure of material that should not have been taken, former President Donald Trump took to social media to ask for it back.

On Saturday, Fox News reported that material covered by either attorney-client privilege or executive privilege may have been taken in the raid last Monday. Trump said he would like his records returned

“Oh great! It has just been learned that the FBI, in its now famous raid of Mar-a-Lago, took boxes of privileged ‘attorney-client’ material, and also ‘executive’ privileged material, which they knowingly should not have taken,” he wrote on his Truth Social platform.

“By copy of this TRUTH, I respectfully request that these documents be immediately returned to the location from which they were taken. Thank you!” Trump wrote.

Trump followed that up with a jab at Democrats and said there is a double standard.

“Just left a large gathering of people and all they could talk about was the complete and total stranglehold that the Radical Left Democrats have over the DOJ & FBI. It shouldn’t be that way. Nobody goes after BLM, ANTIFA, or the rest, despite murder, beatings, and burning down large sections of cities, a very unfair double standard,” Trump wrote.

“They definitely won’t attack the home of a former Democrat President, nor should they. It is all so out of control, great simmering anger!” he posted.

There Were No Classified Documents at Mar-a-Lago, Trump's Lawyer Certified in June  By Jack Davis August 14, 2022The Western Journal

Two months before an FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, one of his lawyers certified that no classified documents were at the estate, according to Fox News

Fox attributed its information to “two sources with knowledge of the in vestigation.”

A report in The New York Times also said that a Trump lawyer told the Justice Department that anything marked classified that had been in a storage area at Mar-a-Lago had been returned.

The Times cited “four people with knowledge of the document.”

The claim contradicts reports that the FBI seized information marked as classified in the raid, which took place last Monday.

The Times report said that the letter attesting to the lack of classified material was written on June 3, when Jay Bratt, a top counterintelligence official in the Justice Department’s national security division, visited Mar-a-Lago as part of a long-running dispute over documents Trump took with him to Florida after leaving Washington.

The Times report said Bratt met with two attorneys representing Trump — M. Evan Corcoran and Christina Bobb, based on what the Times said it was told by “people briefed on the meeting.”

At that time, the Times reported, Corcoran and Bobb showed the Justice Department team several boxes of material.

Bratt and his aides left with material that had been marked classified, and at that time the declaration from one lawyer that all classified material was handed over was made, the Times reported.

The Times said it was after this that Bratt urged Corcoran to have a more secure lock on the room, which was done.

Fox reported that Trump attended at least part of the June 3 meeting.

Spec Ops Vet Organizes Protest at FBI HQ, Cancels It When Something Doesn't Smell Right

  August 14, 2022  Western Journal

Former President Donald Trump sent a message to Attorney General Merrick Garland shortly before Garland’s Thursday comments about the raid on Trump’s estate in the Mar-a-Lago community in South Florida, according to a new report.

Trump’s message, reported by The New York Times on Saturday citing “a person familiar with the exchange,” came after days of outrage over the Monday raid, and was reported to the Times by what the Times said was “a person familiar with the exchange.

“The country is on fire,” Trump told Garland, in a message passed along by “a person close to Mr. Trump,” according to the Times. “What can I do to reduce the heat?”

If a reply was made, the Times did not report upon it.

On Saturday, Fox News reported that during the raid, FBI agents grabbed boxes of records covered by attorney-client privilege.

The report, which cited “sources familiar with the investigation” who were not named, also said some records seized were potentially covered by executive privilege.

The report said the Justice Department rejected the request of the former president’s attorneys for the appointment of an independent special master to review the records.

VP Harris Breaks Silence on Trump Raid - Can't Make It 5 Words Without Giggling  8/14/2022 FOX NEWS

Vice President Kamala Harris has broken the silence of the Biden administration on this week’s FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago. Harris seemed to giggle in spite of herself as she answered a question about the raid.

In video obtained by Fox News and reported by White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich, Harris framed her response with references to her experience as a prosecutor.

“Well, as a former prosecutor I will tell you I don’t speak about anybody else’s case,” she told reporters with a chuckle. “But I have full confidence that the Department of Justice will do what the facts and the law requires.”

“I will say as a former prosecutor but as a citizen of our nation, any attacks on law enforcement are completely unacceptable and any so-called leader who engages in rhetoric that in any way suggests that law enforcement should be exposed to that kind of danger is irresponsible and can result in dangerous activities,” Harris concluded.
