Police Photos Show Michael Brown Violently Robbed Store Right Before He Was Shot

Police Photos Show Michael Brown Violently Robbed Store Right Before He Was Shot

As Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson revealed the name of the officer who shot unarmed teenager Michael Brown, he also released surveillance camera photos showing a man believed to be Brown “strong-arm robbing” a convenience store.
The officer who shot Brown, identified as Darren Wilson, was also the officer investigating the convenience store robbery in which Brown was the “primary suspect.”
Police say the video shows Brown and his friend Dorian Johnson getting in a confrontation with a store clerk and stealing a box of Swisher Sweets cigars, typically used to roll “blunts.”
The images released show a large man wearing a white t-shirt, cargo shorts, and a red hat as he robs the store.
Brown was wearing the same cargo shorts and shoes when he was shot and a red baseball cap was found near his body.
The police report says the clerk “had just come out of the restroom when Brown said he wanted several boxes of cigars. As the attendant was placing boxes on the counter, Brown grabbed a box of Swisher Sweet cigars and handed them to Johnson who was standing behind Brown.”
The clerk said Brown had to pay for the cigars.
“That is when Brown reached across the counter and grabbed numerous packs of Swisher Sweets and turned to leave the store,” the police report states.
The clerk calls 911 and another employee comes out from “behind the counter and attempts to stop Brown from leaving.”
“That is when Brown grabbed him by the shirt and forcefully pushed him back into the display rack,” the officer wrote. “He backed away and Brown and Johnson exited the store with the cigars.”
The suspect was described as about 6-foot-4 and around 290 pounds.
“A second person, also at that scene, identified himself as being with Brown,” the officer reported. “After observing Johnson and reviewing the video, I confirmed he is the second suspect in this incident.”
When asked to comment, employees at the store were hesitant after seeing the devastation the local QuikTrip endured.
“People are going to come and kill us,” an employee told The Daily Mail. “We are worried. Are you going to protect us?”

Could this have anything to do with Perry calling up the Natl. Guard to defend the border ???

Texas Gov. Rick Perry Indicted on Coercion Allegations

Texas Gov. Rick Perry, a potential Republican candidate for president in 2016, was indicted Friday in an investigation into an effort to force a local official out of office. A grand jury in Austin handed up the indictment in a long-running investigation of Perry's threat to veto state funding to the Travis County Public Integrity Unit unless District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg resigned.
The threat came after Lehmberg pleaded guilty to drunken driving and served a 45-day sentence last year, NBC station KXAN of Austin reported. Perry called on her to step down, but she refused; Perry then vetoed the funding. The grand jury issued indictments (PDF) Friday on charges of abuse of official capacity and coercion of public servant, both of them felonies.
The grand jury charged that Perry "intentionally or knowingly misused government property" by trying to harm the unit financially.
"The veto in question was made in accordance with the veto authority afforded to every governor under the Texas Constitution," Perry's general counsel, Mary Anne Wiley, said in a statement. "We will continue to aggressively defend the governor's lawful and constitutional action, and believe we will ultimately prevail."
In an on-camera interview in May, Texas Gov. Rick Perry told NBC News he did not regret vetoing the funds for the public integrity office in Travis County, for which he has now been indicted. He also said neither he nor anyone in his office committed a crime.

Must We Have a Dead White Kid?     Erick Erickson | Aug 15, 2014

The facts that seem undisputed -- and in these situations that is so rare -- are that an unarmed 18-year-old named Michael Brown was walking in a street; an altercation occurred with a police officer; the officer gave chase to Mr. Brown after the scuffle and shot Mr. Brown at least once in the back, approximately 20 feet from where the scuffle occurred.
The police officer claims Mr. Brown tried to take the police officer's gun. Witnesses disagree. What is undisputed is by the time you read this, Mr. Brown, who worked his way through a bleak high school education in Ferguson, Missouri, would have been in a college classroom. He defied the odds of many young black men -- graduated from high school and would have started college last week, had he been alive. But he failed to beat the odds of young black men having bad encounters with police.

New Jersey Prosecutor, Judge Throwing The Book at Single Mother Over Honest Gun Carry Mistake     Katie Pavlich | Aug 15, 2014

New Jersey has arguably the strictest gun laws on the books and one single mom is learning the hard way that prosecutors there don't make exceptions for honest mistakes.Shaneen Allen is a single mother with two children and after she was robbed twice, she went through the proper legal channels to obtain a firearm and a concealed carry license in her home state of Pennsylvania. She has no criminal record. Allen is currently facing up to ten years in prison after she crossed a bridge from Pennsylvania to New Jersey with her firearm.

Jordanian Sheikh: ‘There is no “Palestine” in the Koran. Allah gave Israel to the Jews’   8/15/2014 by
Sheikh Ahmad Adwan, who introduces himself as a Muslim scholar who lives in Jordan, said on his personal Facebook page that there is no such thing as “Palestine” in the Koran. Allah has assigned the Holy Land to the Children of Israel until the Day of Judgment (Koran, Sura 5 – “The Sura of the Table”, Verse 21), and “We made the Children of Israel the inheritors (of the land)” (Koran, Sura 26 – “The Sura of the Poets”, Verse 59).
“I say to those who distort their Lord’s book, the Koran: From where did you bring the name Palestine, you liars, you accursed, when Allah has already named it “The Holy Land” and bequeathed it to the Children of Israel until the Day of Judgment. There is no such thing as ‘Palestine’ in the Koran. Your demand for the Land of Israel is a falsehood and it constitutes an attack on the Koran, on the Jews and their land. Therefore you won’t succeed, and Allah will fail you and humiliate you, because Allah is the one who will protect them (i.e. the Jews).”

Racists On Twitter Helpfully Advise Ferguson Rioters To Only Ransack White Neighborhoods

 By   August 12, 2014
If you’re an anti-white racist living in the Ferguson, MO area, then you’re getting some great advice on Twitter these days.

Disgruntled agitators whose ancestors might have been enslaved at one time are advising you to take your lawless looting and pillaging to the white neighborhoods, thank you very much.
Let’s just call it “forced reparations.”
Also, it’s payback to the police for shooting and killing an unarmed black teen. After all, what better way to enforce your sense of justice against a police department than by tearing apart an area where white people live?

Lawsuit Claims Philly Illegally Seizes Homes to Fund DA's Office   I Wonder If Seth Williams Is Related To eric holder ?
One local family said they are fighting to keep their home after police charged their son in a $40 drug-possession case, even though the son has no ownership stake in the $300,000 home.   By MaryClaire Dale
A new class action lawsuit claims Philadelphia city leaders have been misusing their power to seize property.
City prosecutors have illegally seized millions of dollars' worth of homes, cars and cash to help fund their office, civil rights lawyers said Tuesday in announcing a class-action lawsuit.
The lawyers found that Philadelphia seizes nearly $6 million worth of property each year through the civil asset forfeiture program, which allows property to be seized if police believe it is linked to crimes, even before anyone is convicted.
Greek immigrant Christos Sourovelis and his wife, Markela, said they are fighting to keep their home after police charged their son in a $40 drug-possession case, even though the son has no ownership stake in the $300,000 home. They were forced out of their home for a week in May, and must now wade through what the lawsuit called a "rigged system" of endless proceedings run by prosecutors themselves as they try to save it, they said.
"I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't bother anybody," Sourovelis said at a news conference Tuesday organized by the Institute for Justice, the Arlington, Virginia, nonprofit law group that filed the lawsuit. His son's drug case remains pending, lawyers said.

Boots on the Ground: White House weighs Iraq rescue mission, yet claims no ‘combat role’   Published August 13, 2014

The White House appeared to walk a fine line Wednesday as a team of armed U.S. troops arrived in Islamic State-held territory in northern Iraq to plan a possible rescue mission, yet officials insisted they would not be in a "combat role."Since president obama announced last Thursday that he had authorized airstrikes in Iraq, he and his deputies have stressed that U.S. combat troops will not return to the warzone. But amid concerns that the "limited" airstrikes against Islamic State militants are having a limited impact, his security team is reviewing new options for potentially rescuing the thousands of Yazidi refugees stuck on a mountain and relying strictly on aid drops for food and water. One of those options, a White House official indicated Wednesday, could include ground troops -- just not combat troops.                                                                STORY AND VIDEO

Review of RIP Ammo: Devastating One-Shot Protection for Women with CCWs

IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS BEFORE, TAKE A FEW MINUTES AND WATCH.....On January 28th Breitbart Sports reported that G2 Research was introducing its "Radically Invasive Projectile" (RIP) ammo with the pledge that the saw-like "trocar" edges help the bullet cut through "plywood, auto glass, sheetrock, cinder block, sheet metal, and multiple layers of denim [or clothing]."  Earlier Breitbart Sports received a couple of boxes of RIP ammo for review. We took it to the range and can sum up its performance in one word – devastating. The bullet was designed in a way that fragmentation followed the cutting action. The purpose of fragmentation is not only to create separate wounds throughout a body in self-defense applications, but also to send a shock wave through the attacker's body at the point of entry.

Defending America Isn’t Only for Those in Uniform Townhall Magazine | Aug 12, 2014

In the August issue of Townhall Magazine, where this column originally appeared, editor Bob Owens makes the case for having well-armed civilians help keep the peace.
The National Rifle Association has made a significant investment in online media in recent years. One of the shows on their Life of Duty channel is a series called “Defending Our America.” The show is a roundtable discussion featuring eight men who serve in a variety of military and law enforcement roles, speaking from the heart about what it means to serve this nation and defend the citizenry from enemies, both foreign and domestic.
Perhaps the most chilling episode of the series so far is Episode 8, “We’re Not Ready.”

This episode deals with a kind of terrorist attack that counterterrorism experts have been dreading since before September 11, 2001. They are preparing against a carefully-planned and orchestrated attack by a team of well-trained, well-armed terrorists with carefully scouted “soft targets,” such as schools, malls, theaters, sporting events, hospitals, and other venues that have a large number of people in close proximity that are relatively undefended.

Steve Ballmer is officially the new owner of the Los Angeles Clippers after the NBA confirmed the sale today.
The closure of the deal comes after a California court ruled that Donald Sterling's wife Shelly has legal control of the team. The NBA said that the purchase took place today after the court decision but noted that the "Board of Governors previously approved the sale."
ESPN reported that Ballmer had agreed in May to pay $2 billion for the team. Shelly Sterling, who had joint ownership of the team with her reportedly estranged husband, confirmed the price in her statement about the sale and said that it was the highest amount ever paid for a professional sports franchise in North America.
"I am thrilled that the Clippers now have such a wonderful new owner," she said.
Ballmer, who was CEO of Microsoft from January 2000 to this February, released a statement through the team's website saying he is "honored" to be the new owner.

Proud and praying’: George H.W. Bush salutes the men and woman aboard his namesake carrier
The country’s classiest former president is proving it again.
With U.S. aircraft flying combat missions over Iraq from the aircraft carrier George H.W. Bush, the carrier’s namesake posted his prayers for the safety and wellbeing of the men and women aboard.
The 41st president of the United States, whose career in public service started as a naval aviator in World War II has spent his 20-plus years since leaving office as a credit to the country.
He hasn’t engaged in the relentless hucksterism of Bill Clinton, his immediate successor who’s spent his time in office cashing in personally with lucrative speaking engagements and politically with a wife potentially aiming for a return to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
He hasn’t become a fatuous critic of his own country like another one-term president, Jimmy Carter, whose name is practically synonymous with national futility.
Instead, he and former first lady Barbara Bush have set a modern standard for class after the White House the current occupants are unlikely to even attempt.
And as the responses to Bush’s Twitter posting showed, the sane parts of the country are grateful.

Man Killed by Own 132 Pound Testicles  By , July 30, 2014

Wesley Warren, pictured above with his elephantine balls, died from a heart attack at age 49. The Las Vegas man suffered from scrotal lymphedema, which caused his testicles to swell with watery fluid. Even though surgeons cut off his nads in an epic bout of surgery, the heart attack that felled Warren was his third in a row, alongside his diabetes and the infections that it caused.
The Learning Channel, which broadcast a program seen by millions featuring Warren’s operation that was not exploitive of him in any way said: “We are saddened to hear about the sudden loss of Wesley. He was a lovely man who bravely told his story, and we share our condolences with his family and friends.”
Warren’s saga began after he accidentally by crushed his privates while in bed. Doctors prescribed antibiotics for the inflammation but instead of going down, the swelling increased until his scrotum was the size of a soccer ball. The swelling continued at a mad pace, sometimes three pounds a day. Though Wesley already weighed 300 pounds before his balls, the swelling was a game-changer in his life.

Fired Texas Principal Speaks Out: ‘It Would Be Best to Speak English in Classrooms’

Leah Barkoukis | Aug 10, 2014

On November 12, 2013, Amy Lacey, the principal of Texas’ Hempstead Middle School, was placed on administrative leave and subsequently fired when she made a simple request to students: speak English.
Now that the gag order has expired, Lacey is speaking out about what happened that day, dispelling rumors that she banned Spanish from the school’s campus.
“I informed students it would be best to speak English in the classrooms to the extent possible, in order to help prepare them for [state] tests,” she wrote in a letter to the Houston Chronicle explaining her side of the story. “It is important to note that I did not ban the use of Spanish anywhere in the school or at any time, even though teachers had reported to me that they had experienced instances in which students had been asked to stop talking during instruction, and they responded that it was their right to speak Spanish — ignoring the fact that they shouldn’t have been speaking [in any language] during class without permission. The perception of the teachers was that students were being disrespectful and disrupting learning, and they believed they could get away with it by claiming racism.”
By telling students to speak English, Lacey was not being racist, she was merely pointing out that the academic language in Texas is, by law, English.

The New York Times's Amnesty Lies  Conn Carroll | Aug 11, 2014

Some pundits, like Vox's Ezra Klein, believe that if Congress refuses to vote an any issue a president deems important, then the president is then empowered to make new law on that issue.
This is, of course, completely false. But The New York Times embraced that position Sunday with an editorial calling on President Obama to grant temporary amnesty to up to 5 million illegal immigrants currently in the United States today. Below is a paragraph-by-paragraph response to the Times's editorial:
We don’t know the details. Mr. Obama and the Department of Homeland Security have not yet supplied the who, what, when or even, officially, whether. But Mr. Obama has promised to respond to Congress’s refusal to act on immigration reform. And the most obvious thing is to lift the threat of deportation from immigrants who should be the lowest priority for removal: those with citizen children, jobs, clean records and strong community ties. Some reports put the size of that group at four million to five million.
President Who Pulled U.S. Troops Out of Iraq Says Idea He Pulled Troops Out of Iraq is "Bogus"  Katie Pavlich | Aug 11, 2014

In 2008 then Senator Obama campaigned on the promise of ending the war in Iraq and bringing combat troops home. In 2012, Obama touted that promise as complete (one of the only campaign promises he actually kept) and critics warned leaving Iraq without a residual U.S. force would result in a power vacuum and vulnerable state. Now as the country falls apart and the radical Islamic State army continues its march unchallenged in Iraq, Obama is claiming he wasn't the one who made the decision to pull U.S. combat troops out of the country and that claims to the contrary are "bogus and wrong."

The president says he's going to resort to force only if necessary to defend the few Americans left behind in northern Iraq. The same way he defended that little American outpost in Benghazi, Libya?

Leading From Behind -- Way Behind              Paul Greenberg | Aug 09, 2014

Only now, after the latest offshoot of al-Qaida has emerged out of the desert in fanatical strength, cut through whatever is left of the Iraqi "army," and allowed to advance in all directions, has the supposed commander in chief of this country's armed forces been heard from. Vaguely.
In the meantime this Islamic State of Syria and the Levant, or whatever its latest appellation, has seized strategic cities and dams and generally sown devastation and persecution in its wake. Now it laps at Irbil, the Kurds' capital and site of what may be the last American garrison in the former Iraq.

Federal Court Refuses To Block N.C. Voter ID Law                Matt Vespa | Aug 09, 2014

At Netroots Nation, liberals slammed voter ID laws, labeling them something akin to “Jim Crow” laws. Yesterday, the U.S. District Court For The Middle District Of North Carolina refused to block the state’s voter ID law, which will be enforced in the upcoming midterm elections.
Here's what the Court said in their opinion:

After careful consideration, the court concludes that Defendants’ motion for judgment on the pleadings should be denied in its entirety. Plaintiffs’ complaints state plausible claims upon which relief can be granted and should be permitted to proceed in the litigation. However, a preliminary injunction is an extraordinary remedy to be granted in this circuit only upon a “clear showing” of entitlement.
After thorough review of the record, the court finds that as to two challenged provisions of SL 2013-381 [ NC’s voter ID law], Plaintiffs have not made a clear showing they are likely to succeed on the merits of the underlying legal claims. As to the remaining provisions, the court finds that even assuming Plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits, they have not demonstrated they are likely to suffer irreparable harm - a necessary prerequisite for preliminary relief - before trial in the absence of an injunction. Consequently, the motions for preliminary injunction and the United States’ request for federal observers will be denied. This resolution renders the motions to exclude expert testimony moot.

Eric Holder Says “Disagreeing with Obama Is Racist”

Obama and Holder It’s a typical line of liberal “reasoning.”
If our “fearless leader” encounters opposition from his political opponents, it’s not because of his failed policies or his consistent disregard for the constitution.
Rather, it’s because the president is black.
At least that’s what Eric Holder thinks.
While speaking with ABC news Eric Holder said that much of the opposition he and his boss face is largely because of “racial animus.”
That’s right, if you disagree with the president, it isn’t because you see his legislation as being problematic for the proper governance of the republic, it’s actually because you’re racist.
In typical Eric Holder fashion, the attorney general has attempted to position the American public against the president based solely on the issue of race.
That’s why he said:
We’ve made lots of progress… I sit here as the first African-American attorney general, serving the first African-American president of the United States. And that has to show that we have made a great deal of progress.
But there’s still more we have to travel along this road so we get to the place that is consistent with our founding ideals.
As The Hill reported:
He also stood by his controversial comments made during Obama’s first year in office in which he said the U.S. was a “nation of cowards” when it comes to race.
“I wouldn’t walk away from that speech,” Holder said. “I think we are still a nation that is too afraid to confront racial issues,” rarely engaging “one another across the color line [to] talk about racial issues.”
What’s humorous (or perhaps tragic) is that the president and Holder are actually the ones who are hiding behind race and using it as a weapon.
By setting up the opposition as racist, they seek to malign and castigate anyone who opposes their policy.
In a world of heightened “PC-ism,” and with the advent of hyper-connectivity through social media, the administration is attempting to de-fang anyone that presents a legitimate threat to the president using nothing more than simple character attacks.
Calling someone a racist is a perfect way to de-legitimize political contenders.
And while the accusation may not have any basis in reality, it’s hard to beat the race card once it’s been played… especially if you’re not black.
