In the interview with Univision's Jorge Ramos, Cruz said that it was a reference to Trump calling her "nasty" a few days ago on Twitter. She then elaborated that she believes that Trump is the nasty one and that he is ignoring Puerto Rico. 

This comes just a day after the two appeared to reconcile, with Cruz telling Trump that "it's not about politics."

You may want to run your own background check on the reporter first. You know, to avoid the inevitable surgical removal of your foot, lodged forcibly into your own mouth. Also to prevent ours from being lodged forcibly up your ass. ObamaCare probably won’t cover that. Unless you’re a transgender something or other.

Just ask the Chicago Sun Times, who sent a reporter (who wrote this) to buy a gun, only to find out he wasn’t allowed to:

In an attempt to show how easy it is to buy a modern sporting rifle, Neil Steinberg, of the Chicago Sun-Times, was denied by the store owner’s because “it was uncovered that Mr. Steinberg has an admitted history of alcohol abuse, and a charge for domestic battery involving his wife.”
Mr. Steinburg tried to allege that wasn’t the real reason. According to him it was because, “they knew I planned to immediately sell it back to them.”
He further complains that people who have yet to commit a crime, unlike him, are able to buy guns. “Would-be terrorists can buy guns…But reporters . . . that’s a different story.”

 Yeah, three things.

1. We don’t think “guns should be kept from people for the flimsiest reasons.” But ten points for your use of “flimsiest.” You’ve probably only used that word to describe some of your appendages.  FYI Neil, we’re laughing at your expense because it’s funny. There you were, trying to be all “Look it how easy it is to buy a ‘scary black rifle,'” only to have a background check disqualify you from purchasing said rifle. Some might call it “irony.” Others “karma.” Po-tay-toe, Po-tah-toe.
2. A typical, white, leftist male who thinks domestically abusing their wife is a “flimsy reason” to not own a weapon? Okay, no. If you’ve been charged with a violent crime, maybe someone like, I don’t know maybe I’m grasping at straws here, YOUR WIFE, wouldn’t want you to have a weapon. Any kind of weapon. Even a scary black rifle. Maybe not even a baseball bat. Because domestic violence.
3. As to the bitch-fest about “people who haven’t yet committed a crime being able to purchase guns… then commit a crime…” complaint. Right. Because Apple has yet to develop a crystal ball. No one can ever know if someone is going to be a would-be anything. There’s no app for that. Ask your wife. She probably didn’t know you were an abusive super-douche. Yet no one stopped her from marrying you. Because no one can time-travel.



But right, it’s fecalpatties like this reporter who want to keep the majority of responsible people from owning guns. Doesn’t that just give you the warm and fuzzies? And if you’re a woman… maybe a black eye?

Because if it is unable to perform the basic task of ensuring that the people commissioned to lead our troops in the defense of the United States are actually loyal to the United States, how the hell can we reasonably expect it to be able to conduct high-intensity combat operations against a Nork Army that prioritizes fighting over political correctness?
We can’t.
I don’t enjoy saying that – it gives me no pleasure to have to wonder whether the Army I served in both in active and reserve status for close to 28 years is broken. And it’s not just the Army. The Marines and the Special Ops community, well, they seem to be holding on to the standards the rest have forgotten, but the Navy and the Air Force – they’re broken too. Our military – in terms of strategy, equipment, and leadership, is in crisis. American troops will die if we don’t fix it.
Hell, they already have.
We have a Navy that can’t even sail its few remaining ships without running into giant cargo vessels. I come from a Navy family. You should call my dad, the retired lieutenant commander, and ask him what he thinks about the Navy’s current level of seamanship. It will not be a happy chat.

If you could take a wild guess about what the update would be and picked a whole lot of nothing, then you would be correct. All we know is that they don’t have any conclusions about their investigation into Russian activities, that their staff is working really, really, hard, and that the debunked Russian dossier has run its course. They can’t get any more meaningful information on the latter, with Burr saying they’ve hit the wall.
Burr added that they’ve interviewed every Obama official involved on what they did and didn’t do. They’ve also interviewed other people from around the world. He added that it’s safe to say the inquiry has expanded due to new leads and information. The volume of work is still immense, so no definite conclusions have been reached on this subject. He also said that the committee trusts the conclusion of the intelligence community that the Russians meddled in our election.

The hidden donors to a prominent anti-Trump "resistance" organization are revealed in unredacted tax forms obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The Center for Community Change, a Washington, D.C.-based 501 (c)(3) progressive community organizing group that does not reveal its donors, has been involved in direct action against President Donald Trump and Republicans before and after the November elections. The organization's members sit on the boards of other prominent liberal activist groups.

The Free Beacon has obtained the group's unredacted 2015 tax forms that shed light on its funders, who provide millions of dollars in assistance. The group appears to rely heavily on a few major liberal foundations, organizations, and unions.

The Center for Community Change's largest contribution was $3,000,000 from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, which was initially created by Will Kellogg, the food manufacturer and founder of Kellogg Company. The Ford Foundation, which was first created by the founders of the Ford Motor Company, added a $2,350,000 donation. The Open Society Foundation, a foundation run by liberal billionaire mega-donor George Soros, gave $1,750,000 to the Center for Community Change.

A Chelsea Clinton Scandal Could Mean Bad News For Her Whole Family

The Clinton family has found themselves in so many scandals that you can’t count them all on two hands.
And Chelsea just racked up a new one to add to her family’s “legacy.”
But this one could be major enough to bring down her whole family.
Following in her mother’s footsteps, Chelsea Clinton is alleged to have put national security at risk in order to hook her “best friend” up with $11 million dollars in defense contracts.
And her friend didn’t even have to get a security clearance. Jacqueline Newmyer is the president of a company called the Long Term Strategy Group, who has for over ten years received a number of Defense contracts from a secretive think tank called Office of Net Assessment.
Over that ten-year period of receiving $11 million in contracts, it has come out they have only now started the process of gaining a security clearance from the Office of Net Assessment.
That means they never operated in a secure room to handle classified information, according to the Defense Security Service, which is in charge of approving secure rooms inside private sector firms.
As reported by The Daily Caller:

“A company whose president is “best friends” with Chelsea Clinton received more than $11 million in contracts over the last decade from a highly secretive Department of Defense think tank, but to date, the group lacks official federal approval to handle classified materials, according to sensitive documents TheDCNF was allowed to review.
Jacqueline Newmyer, the president of a company called the Long Term Strategy Group, has over the last 10 years received numerous Defense Department contracts from a secretive think tank called Office of Net Assessment.
The Office of Net Assessment is so sensitive, the specialized think tank is housed in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and reports directly to the secretary.

To date, the Long Term Strategy Group has received $11.2 million in contracts, according to USAspending,gov, a government database of federal contracts.
But after winning a decade of contracts from the Office of Net Assessment, the federal agency is only now in the process of granting clearance to the company. Long Term Strategy Group never operated a secure room on their premises to handle classified materials, according to the Defense Security Service, a federal agency that approves secure rooms inside private sector firms. Long Term Strategy Group operates offices in Washington, D.C., and Cambridge, Mass.”

But the mishandling of classified information isn’t even the biggest part of this scandal.
The company’s President Jacqueline Newmyer is the “best friend” of Chelsea Clinton, at least according to Chelsea.
They have known each other for years, since meeting while in a private school in Washington D.C., where they became such good friends that they were in each other’s weddings.
And new emails that have come out show Chelsea’s mom, then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, actively working to secure Defense Department clearance for Newmyer, whose group did not have a security clearance.
Hillary worked so hard to help her daughter’s best friend that she got her in contact with people in the highest levels of the Obama administration.
The fact that Newmyer’s group did not have a security clearance at the time, and got help from Hillary Clinton to gain Defense contracts is very troubling.
Many are speculating that it is simply more Clinton cronyism.

I know, from seeing his show that he is very "quick witted", sometimess "dry" but funny, HOWEVER, I don't think in these cases that he was trying to be funny

Mueller’s all-star team of prosecutors, with expertise in money laundering and foreign bribery, has an answer to that. He’s Michael Dreeben, a bookish career government lawyer with more than 100 Supreme Court appearances under his belt.Acting as Mueller’s top legal counsel, Dreeben has been researching past pardons and determining what, if any, limits exist, according to a person familiar with the matter. Dreeben’s broader brief is to make sure the special counsel’s prosecutorial moves are legally airtight. That could include anything from strategizing on novel interpretations of criminal law to making sure the recent search warrant on ex-campaign adviser Paul Manafort’s home would stand up to an appeal."He’s seen every criminal case of any consequence in the last 20 years," said Kathryn Ruemmler of Latham & Watkins LLP, who served as White House counsel under President Barack Obama. DEVELOPING: The U.S. has ordered the expulsion of 15 Cuban diplomats from their embassy in Washington following mysterious attacks on American officials in Havana.

U.S. officials said the diplomats must leave the country within seven days. While the move is described as an "expulsion," the U.S. isn't declaring them "persona non grata" -- a designation that would prevent them from ever returning, according to a State Department official.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Tuesday the decision was made because Cuba failed to protect diplomats on its soil -- without directly blaming Cuba for the attacks on Americans in Havana.

"The decision was made due to Cuba's failure to take appropriate steps to protect our diplomats in accordance with its obligations under the Vienna Convention," Tillerson said in a statement.

Cop Says Anti-Trump Dems Are SABOTAGING Hurricane Relief Effort  10/02/2017  by: Remington Strelivo

A cop in Puerto Rico made the bombshell claim that the island’s government leaders are intentionally sabotaging the recovery from Hurricane Maria—to make President Trump look bad.

A woman who did not give her name claimed to be a Puerto Rican police officer, calling into New York radio station Mega 97.9 on Thursday. She accused Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello and San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz of holding back supplies to the people of the island, to make for better photo opportunities.

“The mayor, Carmen Yulin, is not allowing anyone to distribute,” she said, referring to the federal aid supplies that are still sitting in containers in San Juan’s port. “What us Puerto Ricans need is that the US armed forces come in and distribute the aid.”

She also claimed that Yulin’s oft-repeated claims—that a lack of truck drivers was to blame for not getting supplies to Puerto Ricans—was a lie.

“There are thousands and thousands of items of food, and when people ask we cannot give anything away because Carmen Yulin says that we cannot take anything out,” she said.

The unnamed cop was also quick to blame Governor Rossello—saying that the federal government needed to come in and “stop Governor Rossello.”

“It’s abuse,” she said. “It looks like communism, on our own island.” She then broke into tears.

“Everything is a soap opera; everything is a show, there have to be cameras here and there because, you know, they are just looking for votes in the coming years,” she said. “And the governor won't move unless there is a camera behind him, Carmen Yulin won't move unless there is a camera behind her.”

While the police officer’s identity is not known—and, thus, her story cannot be verified—the facts on the ground seem to support her claims. There have been reports from multiple news outlets that at least 10,000 shipping containers, filled with food, water, medicine, and other much-needed supplies, have been sitting on the docks for days—without being distributed, while the nation plunges into chaos.

President Trump himself also criticized Yulin—calling her actions “politically motivated,” and claiming that federal workers on the island were doing a “fantastic job.”

House Republican leaders Tuesday distanced themselves from legislation that would lift taxes and regulations on gun suppressors and expand access to hunting and sports shooting, two days after the largest mass shooting in U.S. history happened in Las Vegas.

The measure cleared a House committee last month and was on deck for possible consideration, but Republicans have not scheduled a vote on the so-called suppressor legislation. The future of the legislation is now uncertain.

"That bill is not scheduled now," House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said Tuesday after meeting with GOP lawmakers in a closed-door meeting. "I don't know when it's going to be scheduled."

Ryan said the GOP is focused on tax reform.

A Patriotic Business Owner Just Sent Some Terrible News To The NFL

The NFL has backed themselves into a corner.
Following the unpatriotic protests during the national anthem, their viewers are turning on them.
And one business owner is fed up, and with one email sent the NFL some terrible news.
Allan Jones is the CEO and founder of the company Check Into Cash, that operates in 29 states.
His ads have been running during NFL games for a while.
But when he saw the unpatriotic refusal to stand for the national anthem coming from many NFL athletes, he was furious.
He sent an email to the NFL demanding they remove all of his company’s ads that are running during NFL games because his company will not condone any form of unpatriotic demonstration.
As reported News Channel 9 in Cleveland, TN:

“Check Into Cash founder and Cleveland, Tennessee native Allan Jones weighed in on the ongoing NFL national anthem protests Tuesday night. Jones posted to his Facebook page that he is pulling all commercials for Check Into Cash, Buy Here Pay Here USA, and U.S. Money Shops during NFL games for the rest of the season.
In 2014, Cleveland business Hardwick Clothes was fighting bankruptcy and it seemed like its more than 130 years of experience might not make it another season.
That’s when Jones stepped in to give the clothing brand a new chance.
In his Facebook post, he says not to look for Hardwick Clothes on the NFL either.”

After sending that email, Jones went to Facebook to explain why he sent it, and why he refuses to run his company’s ads during NFL games.

He posted:

“For the 29 States we operate in, this isn’t much to them, but it’s a lot to us. The Tombras group is our ad agency in Knoxville and our national media buyer for both TV and Radio…… and don’t look for Hardwick on the NFL either. Our companies will not condone unpatriotic behavior! TAKING A STAND…NOT A KNEE!”

Jones proved his company supports our country, and its veterans, and will not give in to pressure from anti-America extremists.
But Jones isn’t the only business owner taking a stand.
In the very same city that Jones lives, a local restaurant called Baxter’s announced they will no longer play NFL games in their establishment, as the protests are disrespectful to veterans.
Tons of other companies are backing out of their support of the NFL, either under pressure from customers, or out of their own disgust.
And even more Americans have taken a stand by refusing to watch NFL games.
The backlash from consumers was so large that DirecTV decided to offer refunds for those who purchased the NFL Sunday Ticket package who were offended by the demonstrations.
It is becoming clear that disrespecting America, and its veterans is not a good business move.
And as more and more Americans tune out, the NFL may finally be forced to take action against unpatriotic behavior at their games.

Is Robert Mueller Trying To Keep Trump From Issuing Russia Probe Pardons?

An adviser to Special Counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly tasked with researching every legal precedent and limitation to the power of a presidential pardon, as the Justice Department probes Russian interference in the election and possible links between Moscow and President Trump's campaign.
Michael Dreeben, the top legal counsel to Mueller's chief investigator, is delving into the history of presidential pardons, whether any restrictions could apply to them, and various interpretations of the law, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.
The news outlet, citing an unidentified source, reported that Mueller is laying the groundwork for the possibility that Trump pardons his aides or allies before prosecutors can charge anyone within his inner circle.
Dreeben is also working to ensure that every step Mueller's team makes will hold up in court against an appeal, according to Bloomberg, which pointed to the search warrant and raid of Paul Manafort's Virginia home in late July.
Manafort served as Trump's campaign manager.
Dreeben has appeared before the Supreme Court more 100 times during his career as a government lawyer, Bloomberg noted.

That’s the question Stephon Lemons asks when he covered an open carry protest from several aligned left-wing activist groups in Phoenix (AZ) over the weekend.

Since you don’t every day see groups of left-wingers totin’ semi-automatic rifles, strolling down the sidewalk, I figured I would follow them and record this odd phenomenon via Facebook Live.
Earlier, the spokeswoman told me that someone with the Brown Berets might talk with me, but she later came up as I was recording the group with my iPhone, and told me the Brown Berets were keeping it zipped as well.
She also asked me to stop filming. And I told her I wasn’t going to do that, because we were on public property.
As I walked next to them, we would encounter obstacles, like parked cars, and so forth, and I mostly would go around the other side of the obstacle, and then catch back up with the group.
But at one point, I walked next to a dude in a yellow headscarf, whom I’d tried to talk with before, and I brushed against him, unintentionally.
I didn’t think much of it, as the sidewalk is only so big, but he apparently took offense, because in retaliation, he walked backwards into me, pushing me aside.
This is the sort of thing that I would normally expect from the right-wing militia-types, but, in reality, the group was little more than an ad hoc left-wing militia. So I shouldn’t
have been surprised.
Like their right-wing counterparts, most of these guys don’t exactly reek of competence or experience, and that should be of concern to all of us. Well-trained people are predictable. It’s fear-filled amateurs like the SKS-toting nimrod from Meal Team Six that start squeezing of rounds into crowds when they hear a car backfire.

Lemon notes in his article the 1979 Greensboro massacre, in which the KKK and American Nazi Party shot up a march of the Communist Workers Party. I personally don’t think it will go down like that.
Instead, we’ll possibly see a bunch of left wing clowns and a bunch of right wing clowns square off and get into a shouting match, and then someone hiding in the back is going to crank off a round, just as they did on April 19, 1775 on Lexington Green. That’s going to trigger a panic, and then it’s probably going to devolve into a free-for-all, in which police officers trying to keep the peace between the groups will be caught in the crossfire.
I suspect we’d see a dozen people wounded by gunfire in such a scenario, with probably twice that number trampled or otherwise injured trying to flee the area.
At this time, I think it will likely be an isolated incident, not a modern “shot heard ’round the world.” It takes a lot to trigger a civil war. I don’t think we’re there yet, and hope we will never be.
