The Evil Has Landed: Buttigieg Unveils Scheme to Flood Small Towns with Immigrants (Video) ⋆ Conservative Firing…Feb. 13th 2020 by Dean Garrison

CAMPAIGN 2020: PETE BUTTIGIEG holds town hall after BERNIE SANDERS declares victory in Iowa

There is a reason many of us live in small towns.

I grew up in a large city, Kansas City, and chose to relocate to a small town.

I am surrounded here by many people who did the same.

Pete Buttigieg wants to end that for all of us.

Why?

It’s obvious.

This is part of the Democrat agenda to turn small towns BLUE.

If they have their way the entire electoral map will turn blue.

Soros joins Pelosi in attacking Facebook: The government should decide what people post on social media

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has ramped up her attacks against Facebook in recent weeks, and now billionaire and anti-Article V activist George Soros has joined her.

In a recent editorial published in The New York Times, Soros argues that Mark Zuckerberg should no longer be in control on the company he founded.

“I repeat and reaffirm my accusation against Facebook under the leadership of Mr. Zuckerberg and Ms. Sandberg,” he concluded. “They follow only one guiding principle: Maximize profits irrespective of the consequences. One way or another, they should not be left in control of Facebook.”

Soros cites Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which immunizes most large social media platforms from liability for defamation. Without these protections, social media companies would be forced to follow government protocols for what they can and cannot allow on their social media accounts.

States are Suing Trump’s Administration at Record Pace February 12, 2020....1600daily

Many presidents face opposition from states during their time in office but the Trump administration is being sued by states at a record pace.

According to The Hill:

State attorneys general have filed an unprecedented number of lawsuits against the Trump administration, as Democratic-led states exercise new levers of power to block some of President Trump’s most controversial initiatives.

States have formed coalitions to file 103 multi-state suits against the administration in its first three years, according to data compiled by Paul Nolette, a political scientist at Marquette University. The vast majority of those suits, 96, have been led by Democratic attorneys general.

By contrast, states filed 78 multi-state suits in the eight years of President Obama’s administration, and 76 multi-state suits during President George W. Bush’s eight years in office. Democratic attorneys general sued Trump 40 times in his first year in office alone, more lawsuits than have ever been filed against an administration in a single year.

“Every time this guy breaks the law, we take him to court,” said Xavier Becerra (D), California’s attorney general who has led 31 suits and been party to 25 others. Joining with other states to file suit “adds strength, it certainly adds value, and it shows unity. It demonstrates that the unlawful action that the Trump administration is looking to take impacts more than just one state.”

The most targeted agency by the attorneys general is the Environmental Protection Agency which has been sued 31 times. The agency’s focus has been to roll back suffocating Obama-era regulations.

Post-impeachment, House Democrats sharpen focus on Barr By MARY CLARE JALONICK, Associated Presss

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Democrats frustrated over the Senate’s acquittal of President Donald Trump are pushing their oversight efforts toward the Justice Department and what they call Attorney General William Barr’s efforts to politicize federal law enforcement.

Democrats have demanded more information about Barr’s intervention in the case of Roger Stone, a longtime Trump confidant who was convicted in November of lying to Congress and other charges. Barr this week overruled prosecutors who had recommended that Stone be sentenced to 7 to 9 years in prison.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi criticized Barr on Thursday, calling him one of Trump’s “henchmen.”

“The attorney general has stooped to such levels,” Pelosi said. “What a sad disappointment. The American people deserve better.”

What Country is Congress Working For?
DC Insider News for Main Street America...February 12, 2020

It’s a serious question, actually. President Trump basically had to pull teeth to get the Democrats to move on the USMCA trade deal, which was specifically designed to put American business and farmers first. Now, Democrats show their disdain for American business and workers.

The House met on Thursday to pass an “Illegal Aliens First” bill and that’s exactly what they did. From Fox News:

House lawmakers on Thursday passed a bill that would allow illegal immigrants to be eligible for damages from their employer if their labor rights are judged to have been violated — while rejecting a measure that would prevent unions from recruiting those in the country illegally.

Not surprisingly, the Democrats are selling this as a “let’s help the average Joe instead of just the wealthy” but, like most of what they’ve done over the past 10 years, they leaving the average Joe behind to help illegal immigrants get jobs and preferential working rights.

The bill is called the “Protecting the Right to Organize Act (PRO Act)”. Another stinging feature of this bill is that it abolishes the state Right-To-Work Laws.

“Where workers have previously had the freedom to choose whether or not to pay fees & join a union, they will now be forced to pay membership fees or lose their job,” Rep. Kevin Hern, R-Okla., said, opposing the bill. “This will put immeasurable power in the hands of union bosses.”

It reads more like a catch-22 for employers. Experts say they won’t be allowed to fire employees once they find out they’re illegal. Sound crazy yet?

Glad to see new review for Flynn....I think he was railroaded the first time.....

BREAKING: DOJ Assigns Outside Prosecutor to Review Michael Flynn Case

According to Fox News, the Justice Department has assigned an outside federal prosecutor to review the case of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn

U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri Jeff Jensen was assigned to Flynn's case according to an official with the Department of Justice.

Check out what Fox News reported:

Jensen will be working hand-in-hand with the lead prosecutor of Flynn case, Brandon Van Grack, according to the official.

The announcement of the review of Flynn’s case comes amid a tumultuous week at the Justice Department.

On Monday, federal prosecutors recommended a sentence of between 87 and 108 months in prison for Trump associate and GOP operative Roger Stone, after he was convicted on seven counts of obstruction, witness tampering and making false statements to Congress on charges that stemmed from former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

But in a stunning reversal, as Fox News first reported, leadership at the Justice Department overruled the prosecutors on the case, scaling back the proposed sentence for Stone, which immediately led Democrats to accuse President Trump of interfering in the process by tweeting about his displeasure with the Justice Department. Trump denies it, and the case has been complicated further by questions over possible juror bias.

The probe into Flynn’s case, though, comes as the timeline for the former national security adviser’s sentencing remains at a standstill.

Last month, Flynn and his attorney Sidney Powell moved to withdraw his guilty plea for making false statements to the FBI about his communications and conversations with former Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak—which stemmed from Mueller’s probe as well.

In the filing, Powell said that the decision to withdraw the guilty plea was “because of the government’s bad faith, vindictiveness and breach of the plea agreement.”

“The prosecution has shown abject bad faith in pure retaliation against Mr. Flynn since he retained new counsel,” she wrote. “This can only be because, with new, unconflicted counsel, Mr. Flynn refused to lie for the prosecution.”

"CALL THE COPS" They tell ypu, but in Philly that's not always the best thing to do. You see, we have this D.A. and........

Man caught with $30K in narcotics. D.A. drops all charges, returns bail money.  Posted by Ralph Cipriano | Feb 12, 2020

PHILADELPHIA, PA — At 4:04 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2017, a patrol officer responded to a call for an auto accident at the corner of Front and Dudley Streets in South Philly. The officer found a tipsy driver behind the wheel of a 2008 silver Nissan that had just crashed into two parked vehicles, but the Nissan was still running, and in drive.

As the cop approached the vehicle, she smelled burnt marijuana. She also observed the driver, Anthony M. Chong, 23, of Galloway Township, N.J. stuffing numerous plastic bags filled with white, bar-shaped pills into a back pack. When the cop asked Chong to get out of the car, he responded, “Hold on, I’m eating my chips.”

Chong, who refused to take a breathalyzer test, according to police, had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. He told the officer he was a pharmacy student at Temple University who was currently working for CVS, both in Philadelphia and New Jersey. Apparently, Chong was taking his work home with him

When police conducted a search of the car, they recovered a total of 1,494 Xanax pills, 2 mg. each, with a street value of $29,880. When the officer asked if Chong had stolen the drugs from his employer, according to a police report, he responded with a blank stare and a smirk, and then a slurred, “No.”

Police arrested Chong under suspicion of a possible DUI and subsequently filed a trio of drug charges against him.

It looked like a slam-dunk case. But since this is Philadelphia, under Progressive Larry Krasner, that’s not how it worked out.

Young Pete Buttigieg won an essay contest in 2000 as a high schooler from the Kennedy Library.

In his essay Pete Buttigieg in 2000 praises Bernie Sanders and his unapologetic stand for socialism.
You just can’t make this stuff up.

From
the essay.
Fortunately for the political process, there remain a number of committed individuals who are steadfast enough in their beliefs to run for office to benefit their fellow Americans. Such people are willing to eschew political and personal comfort and convenience because they believe they can make a difference. One outstanding and inspiring example of such integrity is the country’s only Independent Congressman, Vermont’s Bernie Sanders.

Sanders’ courage is evident in the first word he uses to describe himself: “Socialist”. In a country where Communism is still the dirtiest of ideological dirty words, in a climate where even liberalism is considered radical, and Socialism is immediately and perhaps willfully confused with Communism, a politician dares to call himself a socialist? He does indeed. Here is someone who has “looked into his own soul” and expressed an ideology, the endorsement of which, in today’s political atmosphere, is analogous to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Even though he has lived through a time in which an admitted socialist could not act in a film, let alone hold a Congressional seat, Sanders is not afraid to be candid about his political persuasion.
After numerous political defeats in his traditionally Republican state, Sanders won the office of mayor of Burlington by ten votes.

Democrats Not Ruling Out a Second Impeachment 02/13/2020 12:00 AM Source: AAN by: AAN Staff

The story about Roger Stone and his initially excessive sentencing guidelines has liberals on fire once again. Democrats are rushing in to declare Trump a guilty man and they have already started to rally for a new investigation into the president.

Many thought that impeachment was the end of the Democrats' effort to undo the 2016 election (at least until November), but it looks like they may try again soon. Here are the Democrats that are not ruling out a second impeachment:

What’s Next For Ralph Northam’s Gun Ban?

February 12, 2020 by Cam Edwards

I’ve been a guest on quite a few programs over the past couple of days talking about HB961 and what its prospects look like in the Virginia State Senate that I decided to be my own guest on Bearing Arms’ Cam & Co. today to discuss the current changes of passage in the Senate, but also how we got here and how the governor’s gun ban bill has changed since it was introduced in November of 2019.

The language of Northam’s gun ban has changed quite a bit since then. Originally, the governor was backing SB16, which would have made it a felony to continue to possess so-called assault weapons, magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds, any suppressor, and any “trigger activator.” That’s the legislation that really launched the Second Amendment Sanctuary movement, and after Democrats like Rep. Donald McEachin called for Gov. Ralph Northam to call out the National Guard to enforce his gun control laws, Northam was suddenly on the defensive. He announced that he would no longer support SB16, and instead would back a bill that would permit existing gun owners to keep their banned firearms, as long as they registered their guns and themselves with the Virginia State Police.

CORRECTION: The bill does not ban assault weapons in Virginia, but it does regulate them. Possession is allowed. Purchases, sales, and transfers are restricted.
This bill will save lives.

EXCLUSIVE: What Happened In the Roger Stone Case? 'Prosecutorial Misconduct' Says Defense Lawyer                                           Marina Medvin Posted: Feb 12, 2020

A day after a nine-year sentencing recommendation for the elderly Roger Stone was filed, Senior DOJ officials immediately distanced themselves from the recommendation. They told CBS News that the prison time recommendation was "extreme, excessive, grossly disproportionate to offenses," and that this is not what was briefed to the DOJ by the assigned prosecutors. Hours later, all four lawyers assigned to the case withdrew, with one, Jonathan Kravis, resigning from the DOJ entirely.

This is unusual, to say the least. Top to bottom, from the start of the case to this shocking end, has been unprecedented. What is going on?

President Trump asked: "Who are the four prosecutors (Mueller people?) who cut and ran after being exposed for recommending a ridiculous nine-year prison sentence to a man that got caught up in an investigation that was illegal, the Mueller Scam, and shouldn't ever even have started?"

I went to federal trial attorney Jesse Binnall for some answers. Binnall defends high-profile clients against political witch-hunts and has defended cases brought by Jonathan Kravis in the past. Currently, Binnall is defending Michael Flynn alongside Sidney Powell.

In your professional opinion, was anything unusual about the Roger Stone case?

"Roger Stone wouldn't ever have been a target of prosecution had he not been a Trump supporter. The President was absolutely right; the political underpinnings of this case are very disturbing. The events of the past few days show just how unusual this case really is."

Can you explain what exactly was unusual in recent days, and why?

"These four prosecutors filed a brief making a sentencing recommendation without getting approval from the chain of command. That is extraordinarily unusual in the DOJ. In fact, I can say it's unheard of at the DOJ; certainly, I've never heard of it. In practice, DOJ lawyers almost always get approval for everything they do."

Then, all four prosecutors on this case withdrew in succession, with one, Kravis, resigning from the DOJ entirely. This is unheard of. Why do you think they did it? Do you believe they planned and colluded?
