PART OF AN ARTICLE ABOUT AN INTERVIEW BETWEEN TRUMP AND THE NYT. CAN WE BELIEVE ANYTHING THATS REPORTED ?

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT...IF THIS WAS AN "OFF THE RECORD" INTERVIEW, THEN WHY WOULD IT BE TAPED ? ?

According to BuzzFeed News, when the real estate mogul sat down for an off-the-record interview with the editorial board of the New York Times, he sang a completely different tune on immigration. BuzzFeed’s sources imply Trump may have told the NYT editorial board that his demand for a wall may just be his opening position in a grand bargain on immigration reform – something to be tossed away as nothing more than a bargaining chip. Ted Cruz on Monday made the following comment in response: “I will say there was a very disturbing story that broke today. That apparently there is a secret tape that The New York Times editorial board has of Donald Trump saying that he doesn’t believe what he’s saying on immigration. That all of his promises to secure the border are not real and if he’s president he doesn’t intend to do what he says.”

We don’t know WHAT the truth is on this story. But we’d sure like to hear that tape. If Trump is saying one thing publicly (to generate support) and saying the opposite privately (to assure the liberals at the NYT ed board that he’s not a “crazy”), that’d be an important piece of information to have.

Nuclear: Brutal Ad Previews General Election Racial Attacks Against Trump    Guy Benson | Mar 02, 2016

A new conservative group funded by the Ricketts family -- who are apparently unbowed by Donald Trump's bullying -- has produced a new ad that offers Republican voters a disquieting glimpse at how Democrats and the media will assail the controversial billionaire if he becomes the party's presidential nominee. Race-baiting is a common demonization tactic of the Left, so it's no surprise that Democrats plan to play that card against an opponent -- but Donald Trump's record and words hand them an enormous amount of material to work with. If you watch this video and think it's unfair, you're going to hate the general election if Trump's the nominee:

‘This happens a lot’: Oh, no biggie … the government just lost track of some weapons

This sounds promising:
The federal government received a bipartisan bashing Wednesday for losing track of hundreds of guns and grenade launchers that were donated to police departments.
The General Services Administration (GSA) has transferred more than 9,800 firearms to state and local police departments since 1999. But many of these weapons have later turned up for sale at gun stores or been stolen, according to a government watchdog.

An inspector’s general report issued in June 2015 found that 485 firearms have gone missing — only 24 have been recovered, while the rest remain on the lose [sic].
We’re in the best of hands. That’s what we’re supposed to think, anyway.
Too bad we can’t say the same for a bunch of weapons. Nobody knows whose hands those are in:

Heckuva government we’ve got here.

Pssst! Note to the federal government: This is not the good kind of oversight.

NEW YORK, March 2 (Reuters) - The billionaire industrialist Koch brothers, the most powerful conservative mega donors in the United States, will not deploy their $400 million political arsenal to attack Republican front-runner Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential primary election, according to an official from the brother's political umbrella group.
"We have no plans to get involved in the primary," said James Davis, spokesman for Freedom Partners, the Koch brothers' political umbrella group.
Donors and media reports have speculated since a Koch summit in January that the brothers would launch a "Trump Intervention," a strategy that would involve deploying the Koch's vast political network to target the billionaire reality TV star in hopes of removing him from the race.

The author of this article is playing both sides but, it gives a good representation of why the people want Trump. It's good except for the last paragraph, where he interjects his personal feelings. AMERICA IS FED UP WITH WITH BOTH PARTIES, THEY CAN'T TRUST EITHER ONE. WITH TRUMP AT LEAST WE HAVE A CHANCE.....

Exploring Trumpism   David Limbaugh | Mar 01, 2016

Just what is the Trump movement all about? I've tried to get to the bottom of it by conversing with various Donald Trump supporters on Twitter.
I have found that most outside the movement are having great difficulty understanding it. It's like nothing we've seen -- at least on the Republican side of the political spectrum.
One perplexed person asked me, "Does it shock you that with all the detrimental information on Trump he is still leading in practically every poll?" My answer: "It doesn't shock me so much as disappoint me."
Let me explore the Trump phenomenon in the form of a dialogue between a hypothetical Trump supporter (TS) and myself. One or two of the responses are from actual Trump supporters, but most are my own words, and I hope they're not offensive to those supporters.
Me: "I'm troubled, because one would think that Republicans would abandon a presidential candidate who has conducted himself as Trump has during this campaign."
TS: "You aren't hearing us. We don't care about political correctness, his manners or your sensitivities. We only care that he will get things done. Wuss!"
Me: "But what about his questionable allegiance to conservatism?"
TS: "You're still not listening. We are not interested in your fancy ideological terms. It's all talk. We want action from an outsider with experience and accomplishments. Action, action, action."

Gingrich scolds anti-Trumpers: Any serious Republican will get behind the nominee to beat Hillary  posted at 6:01 pm on March 1, 2016 by Allahpundit

Said this before, but given his role in the 1994 conservative revival in Congress, the eventual Gingrich endorsement of Trump will cause the right much, much more grief than tough-guy opportunist Chris Christie’s has.
He blamed Marco Rubio for some of that mudslinging, saying the Florida senator’s personal attacks on Trump after last Thursday’s debate may have backfired. “I suspect it hurt Rubio,” Gingrich says. “Rubio’s not an attack dog. Chris Christie’s an attack dog. Christie knows how to do that, Rubio doesn’t. And Rubio ends up, I think, looking silly.”
Gingrich also chided Republicans suggesting they won’t get behind Trump should he win the nomination. “I believe when you’re faced with a choice with Clinton corruption, appointing radical judges with a disastrous foreign policy, it’s very hard for any serious Republican to not support the Republican nominee,” he told reporters.

Several hundred people gather at the Mississippi State Capitol in Jackson for a rally to remove the Confederate battle emblem from the state flag, Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, a month after flag supporters gathered…
One week after attempts to remove Confederate imagery from Mississippi’s state flag stalled in the statehouse, a local civil rights attorney has filed a federal lawsuit arguing that the state flag violates his constitutional rights.
Carlos Moore, a Mississippi-based civil rights attorney, filed a district court lawsuit Monday alleging that the Confederate imagery incites racial violence and infringes on the 14th- Amendment protections of black residents.
“Mississippi’s official state flag with the embedded Confederate battle flag is tantamount to hateful government speech that both has a discriminatory intent and disparate impact,” the six-page lawsuit declares. “The current official state flag … encourages or incites private citizens to commit acts of racial violence.”
Mississippi is the only state that incorporates the Confederate battle flag into its state flag.

Nikki Haley Doesn't Understand Why Christie Endorsed Trump    ANDREA GONZALES

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley doesn't understand why her New Jersey counterpart Chris Christie endorsed his former rival for the Republican presidential nomination, Donald Trump.

"Chris is a dear friend, but none of us understand why he did this," Haley said Sunday in an exclusive interview on ABC's "This Week." "What I will tell you is Donald Trump can't beat Hillary Clinton."

Haley, who endorsed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio before Trump won her state's Republican primary last weekend, said it would be impossible for Trump to win a general election because he is capped at 35 percent support.

"Marco Rubio is the only one that can defeat Donald Trump and Marco Rubio can beat Hillary Clinton and will win in November," she said.

Haley said Trump is everything "we teach our kids not to do in kindergarten." She added Rubio's recent jabs at Trump show he was willing to lead and fight with passion and is "exactly what we tell our children also -- if a bully hits you, you hit back."

In a separate interview on "This Week," Christie admitted he still disagrees with Trump on some of his policy proposals despite endorsing him.

"This is now a choice, and of the candidates remaining on that stage, he is the best person to beat Hillary Clinton, which is job one for Republicans," Christie said. "He is the best person to beat her and he is the best person to help keep America safe."

Scientists Warn All Plant Life Dying Within 30-Yard Radius Of Ted Cruz Campaign Signs  NEWS IN BRIEF

ITHACA, NY—Warning that the flora in the immediate vicinity withers and turns black at an alarming rate, scientists from Cornell University alerted the public Monday that all plant life within a 30-yard radius of each of presidential candidate Ted Cruz’s campaign signs is rapidly dying off. “Within several hours of placing a ‘Cruz 2016’ placard into the ground, it appears that a fast-spreading blight begins to emanate outward in all directions from the sign, desiccating and destroying every blade of grass, flower, and tree in its path,” said researcher Martha Pastuck, adding that tests of the soil beneath the Ted Cruz yard signs revealed it to be highly acidic and often scalding to the touch. “We’ve also recorded several instances of heavily rotted deer carcasses found lying nearby, likely after the animals ate some of the afflicted foliage. We would recommend that all people, especially the elderly, infirm, and pregnant women, maintain a safe distance from all Ted Cruz signage.” Pastuck added that the research team can only comment on the conditions surrounding individual Cruz placards, noting that lawns or highway medians containing multiple signs are undergoing too much seismic activity to safely approach

W.Va. Senate OKs bill to allow concealed carry without permit

By Eric Eyre, Staff Writer

Senators approved a bill Friday that could make West Virginia the sixth state to allow residents to carry a concealed firearm without a permit.
After reading aloud from the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, senators voted 32-2 for a bill (SB347) that allows people 18 and older to tote concealed guns.
“The bill eliminates the crime of carrying a concealed weapon in West Virginia,” said Sen. Charles Trump, R-Morgan.
The legislation next goes to the House of Delegates.
Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Vermont and Wyoming are the only states that allow residents to carry a hidden gun without a permit.
West Virginia already allows open carry of a handgun without a permit.
West Virginia law enforcement officials have expressed concern about the bill. They said the legislation could put officers more at risk. They also noted that the weapons-permit fees generate funds for sheriff’s departments across the state. Last year, the permits raised $3.4 million for the departments.
