PART OF AN ARTICLE ABOUT AN INTERVIEW BETWEEN TRUMP AND THE NYT. CAN WE BELIEVE ANYTHING THATS REPORTED ?

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT...IF THIS WAS AN "OFF THE RECORD" INTERVIEW, THEN WHY WOULD IT BE TAPED ? ?

According to BuzzFeed News, when the real estate mogul sat down for an off-the-record interview with the editorial board of the New York Times, he sang a completely different tune on immigration. BuzzFeed’s sources imply Trump may have told the NYT editorial board that his demand for a wall may just be his opening position in a grand bargain on immigration reform – something to be tossed away as nothing more than a bargaining chip. Ted Cruz on Monday made the following comment in response: “I will say there was a very disturbing story that broke today. That apparently there is a secret tape that The New York Times editorial board has of Donald Trump saying that he doesn’t believe what he’s saying on immigration. That all of his promises to secure the border are not real and if he’s president he doesn’t intend to do what he says.”

We don’t know WHAT the truth is on this story. But we’d sure like to hear that tape. If Trump is saying one thing publicly (to generate support) and saying the opposite privately (to assure the liberals at the NYT ed board that he’s not a “crazy”), that’d be an important piece of information to have.
