Did Ilhan Omar marry her brother? Her hometown newspaper investigated and told us what they found By Louis Jacobson July 18th, 2019
READ ON
For years, critics of Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., have raised questions about her marriages and made the explosive claim that she had married her brother.
As Omar has become a frequent target of attacks by President Donald Trump, allies of the president have only ramped up their criticism of the congresswoman, who was a refugee and is now a naturalized U.S. citizen of Somali descent.
Trump himself mentioned the allegation that Omar had married her brother on July 17. Talking to reporters before boarding Marine One, Trump said, "There's a lot of talk about the fact that she was married to her brother. I know nothing about it."
Several media outlets, including the Associated Press and her hometown paper, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, have delved into this question and Omar’s personal history.
In a June 23 article, the Star-Tribune wrote that it "could neither conclusively confirm nor rebut the allegation that he is Omar’s sibling." That echoed the conclusion by Snopes.com in February 2019, that "the evidence uncovered thus far isn’t definitive enough to come down on one side or the other." PolitiFact was unable to reach a conclusion during the 2018 election cycle.
The Star-Tribune has published the most detailed, evidence-based reporting. Here are some of the key points from their report:
Don't believe every poll you read about....especially if it's about GUNS....!!

Anti-gun activists are giddy over a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll showing a stunning 62 percent of Americans want to ban semi-automatic guns, which is most rifles, shotguns and handguns.
But if they think Americans support banning most firearms, they need to read further into the poll. Most mass shooting involve handguns, so if 62 percent of Americans support banning semi-autos, you’d see the same number backing a ban on handguns, right?
Wrong.
The poll shows only 25 percent of Americans want to ban handguns, which are used more often in mass shootings and homicides.
Just 25 percent.
How can 62 percent of Americans want to ban rifles and just 25 percent want to ban handguns. How could there be such a big difference?
It seems the answer is the mainstream media.
For most American the media is their biggest source of information on guns.
That’s why most people think suppressors are “silencers” that make a high-pitched tweet, like in the movies.
And when it comes to “semiautomatic rifles” the media have gone out of their way to equate them with machine guns, reporting outright lies and falsehoods about how many rounds a semi-auto can fire.
As a result, when most Americans hear “semi-automatic” they think it means an automatic machine gun that can fire hundreds of rounds per second without ever running out of ammunition, like in the movies.
At one time banning handguns was a popular national movement, until the passage of concealed and open carry laws brought more Americans into contact with handguns.
That presents an opportunity for gun owners. If only 25 percent of Americans want to ban handguns, a public education campaign on semi-autos could gut the anti-gun movement

Former Clinton Official Spotted At Epstein Party 08/26/2019 Source: American Update by: AU Staff
Former Clinton communications director and current ABC News Host George Stephanopoulos has been linked to a party held by Jeffrey Epstein In 2010. As The Daily Mail reports:
The December 2 dinner was held in the mansion’s second-floor dining room. TV anchor Katie Couric, once the highest-paid female presenter in the US, sat alongside comedian Chelsea Handler, a close friend of Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston. Also there was George Stephanopoulos, a former White House communications director under President Bill Clinton turned £15 million-a-year ABC News host. The shocking revelation comes as more information continues to be revealed about the notorious pedophile's connections to various high profile media and political figures.
The soiree is believed to have also been attended by Ghislaine Maxwell, daughter of the disgraced media tycoon Robert Maxwell and Epstein’s one-time girlfriend.
Multiple Epstein accusers have claimed that Ms. Maxwell ‘procured’ girls for the perverted millionaire. She denies the allegations.
Guests would have walked past bizarre erotic artwork en route to the dining room with its gleaming mahogany table, including a painting of Bill Clinton in red heels and a blue dress, a reference to the outfit worn by Monica Lewinsky when she performed a sex act on him.

Ecoradical protesters swarm Democrat HQ…don’t realize they made a HUGE mistake By D.E- Aug 25, 2019
The radical ecosocialist “Sunrise Movement” hatched a genius plan to force Democrats to hold a presidential debate entirely on “climate change” — a “sit-in” protest at Democrat headquarters that would force party leaders to hear them.
They just forgot one detail.
It all started when a horde of Sunrise Movement radicals swarmed the lobby of what they thought was the headquarters of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party.
The protesters sat on the floor, blocking the lobby elevators, while screeching, singing and waving yellow-and-black signs reading “DNC: Time is running out” and “11 years”
It wasn’t until after 11 of them had been arrested for trespassing that they were told they had the wrong address.
They were picketing the wrong building.
The Pennsylvania Democratic Party had moved out long ago.
It appears they simply Googled “Democrat headquarters” and went to the first address that popped up.
“If you can’t figure out where the local Democratic Party offices are before you show up for the protest, I’m not sure that I trust your analysis of the climate science much less what to actually do about the problem,” Ted Nordhaus, founder and executive director of The Breakthrough Institute, told Reuters.
These people claim they can predict future climate and produce all electricity from wind, but they can’t use Google Maps.

NASCAR bans gun ads, claims ‘gradual shift’ in its views

“Due a gradual shift in NASCAR’s position on guns,” the sport will no longer accept ads that depict popular firearms.
K-Var and other gun retailers were approached earlier this year by National Events Publications, the media sales agent for NASCAR, and asked to buy advertising with the sport, K-Var reports.
K-Var and others submitted their ads. Four months later, National Events Publications sent the following message to K-Var:
We just heard from NASCAR on a number of gun related ads and unfortunately, due a gradual shift in NASCAR’s position on guns, these ads must be edited/changed—especially those that are depicted as assault-style rifles/sniper rifles. NASCAR is still open to some of the less controversial gun accessories, concealed carry, or classes.
“NASCAR has allowed ads from firearms manufacturers for several years,” K-Var reports. “AK-47s, AR-15s, and scoped rifles have all been featured in the past, so I guess, by that statement, it can only mean that NASCAR is marching toward a complete anti-gun stance—it is just slow rolling it for some reason.”
It’s the latest move by corporate America to ignore their customer base and pander to a radicalized minority.
For some companies, the decision to cut all ties to guns was not a free one. Under pressure from government officials and liberal activists, banks are canceling accounts for companies that sell perfectly legal guns or gun parts.
NASCAR, which has held a race sponsored by the National Rifle Association, has not offered further comment on their new anti-gun stance or whether it means they will no longer allow the NRA to sponsor races.
People responding online to K-Var’s report claim that announcers calling the NRA-branded race refused to say “NRA” or refer to the group.
Why Can’t We Unify in the Face of Evil?
This should be easy.
We’re all on the same side. When a white supremacist terrorist shoots up a Walmart filled with innocents in El Paso, we should all be on the same side. We should be mourning together; we should be fighting together.
Instead, we’re fighting one another.
We’re fighting one another for one simple reason: Too many on the political left have become accustomed to castigating the character of those who disagree with the left on policy. Favor tougher border controls? This puts you on the side of the white supremacist terrorist. Believe in Second Amendment rights? You’re a vicious, violent cretin covering for those who commit acts of evil. Cite Western civilization as a source of our common values, believe that police forces across the United States are not systemically racist, favor smaller government intervention in the social sphere — in short, disagree with the program of the American left? Most of all, consider voting for Trump? You’re an accessory to murder.
Now, there are many on the political left who are too smart for this sort of specious reasoning and character assassination. But not everyone. Charles Blow of The New York Times, for example, writes in a column this week that "terrorists" and "policymakers" are the two "sides of white nationalism." Blow clarifies: "White nationalist terrorists — young and rash — and white nationalist policymakers — older and more methodical — live on parallel planes, both aiming in the same direction, both with the same goal: To maintain and ensure white dominance and white supremacy." Who, pray tell, are these evil white nationalist policymakers? Those who favor "border walls, anti-immigrant laws, voter suppression and packing the courts." Never mind that many advocates of border security also advocate for broader legal immigration. Never mind that nobody actually favors voter suppression. To Blow, an R next to your name signifies merely a less militant Nazism than your neighborhood Hitler Youth.
David Leonhardt of The New York Times similarly argued this week that "American conservatism has a violence problem." While admitting that conservative America "is mostly filled with honorable people who deplore violence and bear no responsibility for right-wing hate killings" and that "liberal America also has violent and deranged people," Leonhardt lays the blame for an increase in political violence at the feet of "mainstream conservative politicians," who are somehow connected to "right-wing extremists."
There's something in the water at The New York Times, obviously. Jamelle Bouie, another voice on The Times opinion page, suggested a "connection between white nationalism" and my personal "ideological project." Never mind that I've been perhaps the loudest voice on the right decrying white nationalism for years; that I firmly fight for particular Western civilized values and small-government conservatism that foreclose and despise racism; that I've incurred hundreds of thousands of dollars in security costs for my trouble; that I require 24/7 security to protect me from white nationalist blowback; and that just weeks ago, the FBI arrested a white nationalist threatening to murder me. Obviously, all conservatives are the same — and all are complicit in the mission of white supremacy.
There can be no unity when one side of the political aisle firmly believes that the other side is motivated by unmitigated evil. No decent conversation about fixes can be had when you assume the person sitting across from you sympathizes with monsters who go to shoot up Hispanic Americans at a Walmart. If we can't at least assume that we're all on the same page in condemning white supremacist terror attacks and white supremacist ideology, we may as well pack this republic in. We're done.
"What happened here is that they (FBI and CIA) decided their judgment about who was fit to be president was superior to the public's, and they weren't going to take the public's determination for an answer,"
HUBRIS:
Hubris means, in a modern context, extremely foolish and irrational pride. In its ancient Greek context, it typically describes violent and excessive behavior rather than an attitude. The adjectival form of the noun hubris is "hubristic".
I interviewed Andrew McCarthy about his new book, "Ball of Collusion: The Plot to Rig an Election and Destroy a Presidency," because it is a critically important read for thoughtful people.
"This is a story about hubris," is how it begins.
Thoughtful people know that for all our grand monuments carved of granite and marble, a republic is an extremely fragile thing. Especially now, as a cynical establishment seeks restoration, as establishment Kemalist bureaucrats run for cover, and as the divisions in our nation widen and public discourse sounds like rival packs of angry barking dogs.
And in a few weeks, sooner perhaps, the dogs will begin barking even louder upon release of Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz's report on his investigation of possible Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses by the Justice Department and the FBI as they looked into Donald Trump and Russia.
It all starts with hubris. ( ADMITTEDLY, I HAD TO LOOK UP THE DEFINITION )
Where can I get one of these "semi-automatic" rifles that shoot 500 rounds per minute ????

Judge Upholds Gun Ban, Noting Semiautomatic Rifles Fire 500 Rounds Per Minute by Sandy Malone
federal judge in California upheld the state's ban on semiautomatic rifles and "bullet buttons.Santa Ana, CA – A judge in California upheld a ban on semiautomatic rifles and the “bullet buttons” that make it easier to reload the guns
U.S. District Judge Josephine Staton of Santa Ana rejected a challenge by the California Rifle & Pistol Association to the California law prohibiting the sale, manufacturing, and ownership of semiautomatic rifles, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Staton called the weapons “incredibly effective killing machines” and said in her July 22 ruling that they were not necessary for self-defense. ( What if you're defending yourself against a criminal who HAS one of these "BANNED" guns ??)
In her ruling, the judge cited erroneous congressional findings that semiautomatic rifles fire at a rate of 300 to 500 rounds per minute making them “virtually indistinguishable” from machine guns, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Staton's ruling also noted that the rifles are the “weapons of choice” for gangs, hate groups, and “mentally deranged persons bent on mass murder."
Her decision contrasted dramatically with the 2017 and 2018 rulings by a federal court judge in San Diego who said that California’s ban on high-capacity magazines violated a law-abiding citizen’s right to self-defense, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Those court decisions were briefly in effect in the spring, but then U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez agreed to restore enforcement of the ban while the state appealed his decision.
But while it was legal, gun owners flocked to stores to buy the previously-banned magazines, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
California banned semiautomatic rifles 20 years ago and outlawed “bullet buttons” in 2016.
Bullet buttons attach to regular gun magazines and allow the magazine to be quickly ejected from the weapon, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
The California Rifle & Pistol Association, which is an arm of the National Rifle Association (NRA), cited a 2011 dissenting opinion by newly-appointed U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in its lawsuit in which he interpreted the Second Amendment to allow semiautomatic weapons and prohibit mandatory gun registration.
Gun groups are hoping that the addition of Kavanaugh and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch to the court will sway things their direction, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Staton said in her opinion that under current standards of federal law, the semiautomatic rifle should not be protect by the Second Amendment and should be considered a “dangerous and unusual weapon” only suitable for use by the military and not appropriate for home defense.

ANY TRUTH....??
Exclusive: Largest Pedophile Ring in History, 70,000 Members, Heads of State
Those who read it thought they knew, thought they were getting the story but as is so often the case, the truth goes so much further.
When Veterans Today tied the murder of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Scalia to a White House blackmail plot and a strange tale involving the Keshe Foundation, it became clear that the highest and most powerful in Europe, the US and around the world, were tied together in a web of ritual child abuse on a massive scale.
Today’s story is one more aspect of this. VT’s involvement goes back to 1991 when key VT staffers worked for America’s intelligence community.

Bear Steals 36 Beers From Campers, Gets Drunk & Passes Out Until Rangers Come.....
Apparently, some campers were away from their tents, maybe going on a hike or swim and while they were gone, this backwoods bandit bear snuck into their campsite and opened up their cooler full of cold brews.
The evidence was discovered after they found the bear passed out with a trail of empty beer cans leading back to the campsite. A total of 36 cans were found with bite marks and bear claw punctures in them.
