Our friend Sara Carter reports four secret Service employees who were special agents to the Bidens are “entangled in an alleged bribery scheme carried out by two men accused of masquerading as Department of Homeland Security law enforcement agents.”

The men accused of bribery are Arian Taherzadeh and Haider Ali, both U.S. citizens with passports and visas to Iran and Pakistan.

However, this was not free donuts to ignore parking tickets level bribery – this was state-actor level stuff.

Real Clear Politics reports Taharzadeh and Ali “seemed to have control of five apartments. When investigators searched the defendants’ apartments, they found a drone, handguns, ammunition, bullet-proof body armor, gas masks, zip ties, handheld radios, body cameras, binoculars, a high-powered telescope, and four laptop computers. They also discovered what appeared to be official DHS patches and training manuals, scopes for weapons, components of disassembled rifles, and a list of every resident of the apartment complex.”

Sara Carter reported an affidavit filed last Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. revealed that one of the agents caught up in the bribery scheme was a special agent assigned to First Lady Jill Biden’s protective detail. A second agent was a Uniformed Division officer at the White House. A third Secret Service special agent is assigned to President Biden’s detail, Real Clear Politics learned. The agent’s position puts him at the President’s side “nearly everywhere he goes and stands by his side during the most sensitive of discussions and private moments.” The fourth agent, a second Uniformed Division officer, was assigned to protect Vice President Harris’s residence.

According to court filings, reported by Sara Carter, one of the more troubling details of the case involves Taherzadah allegedly offering to give an assault rifle worth $2,000 to the Secret Service agent assigned to Jill Biden. The filing also says that Taherzadeh lent what he described as a “government vehicle” to the same Secret Service agent’s wife and also gave her a generator.

Supply chain crisis linked to ‘whole host’ of Biden policy decisions: Former transportation secretary    Kristen Altus - Yesterday

Former U.S. Labor Secretary under George W. Bush and Transportation Secretary under Donald Trump Elaine Chao explained how she would fix the ongoing supply chain crisis, arguing that it starts by getting inflation under control on "Varney & Co." Wednesday.Unmute

"The supply chain issue is linked to a whole host of policy decisions that have been made by this administration," Chao told FOX Business’ Stuart Varney. "It's an issue about inflation."

Inflation hitting a new 40-year high in March coupled with the possibility of more shipping delays due to China’s latest COVID-19 lockdowns puts pressure on President Biden to find a solution sooner rather than later.

"This is putting increasing demand at precisely the time when the supply chain is actually quite still fragile and vulnerable," Chao said.

Uncetainty surrounding further supply chain delays forces consumers and companies to order more products now before they run out, according to the former Transportation Secretary.

"The're not quite sure if they're going to get what they need within the time-space that they need," Chao explained, "so they order more, and that increases, again, the pressure on the supply chain."

As an expert in the labor sector, Chao praised the "unsung heroes" who have worked in the supply chain during this time.

White House Fires Back at Greg Abbott as Migrants Arrive in D.C.  Jon Jackson - 7h ago

The White House blasted Texas Governor Greg Abbott in a statement Wednesday, saying the Republican leader is responsible for "significant disruptions" to supply chains. The harsh rebuke of Abbott's policies came as a bus of migrants sent by the governor arrived in Washington, D.C.

Abbott announced last week that he had directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to bus migrants who had been released from federal custody out of Texas to the nation's capital. On Wednesday morning, the first bus from Texas with dozens of migrants aboard arrived in Washington, D.C., pulling up near the U.S. Capitol for the travelers to disembark.

During a press briefing last week, White House press secretary Jen Psaki called Abbott's bus plan a "publicity stunt." In today's statement attributed to Psaki, she furthered her criticism of the governor, saying his border policies were affecting the entire nation.

"Governor Abbott's unnecessary and redundant inspections of trucks transiting ports of entry between Texas and Mexico are causing significant disruptions to the food and automobile supply chains, delaying manufacturing, impacting jobs, and raising prices for families in Texas and across the country," Psaki said.

Psaki's statement also stated that businesses and trade associations had requested Abbott change his policies "because trucks are facing lengthy delays exceeding 5 hours at some border crossings and commercial traffic has dropped by as much as 60 percent."

During an April 6 press conference, Abbott said Texas had been "overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration."

He added, "We are sending [the migrants] to the United States capital where the Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border

A few months ago, President Obama received and was reading a report that there were over 100,000 cattle guards in Colorado . The Colorado ranchers had protested his proposed changes in grazing policies, so he ordered the Secretary of the Interior to fire half of the "cattle" guards immediately!
Before the Secretary of the Interior could respond and presumably try to straighten President Obama out on the matter, Vice-President Joe Biden, intervened with a request that...before any "cattle" guards were fired, they be given six months of retraining.
'Times are hard,' said Joe Biden, 'it's only fair to the cattle guards and their families be given six months of retraining! '

The New York Times is laying bare just how disastrous President Joe Biden’s anti-Trumpian approach to border security has been, and how clueless the current occupant of the White House is as his administration grapples with the fallout.

That is, the notoriously biased liberal newspaper is shining a harsh light on the cold, hard reality that, for all the hysteria and propaganda over former President Donald Trump’s hard-hitting rhetoric on illegal immigration, good border policy is simply not derived from sunshine, puppy dogs and catchy, heart-wrenching slogans that activists like to paint on signs.

No, while the oftentimes wildly misleading negative news coverage that the Trump administration border enforcement agencies received drove Biden to campaign heavily on a more “humane” approach to illegal immigration, once he took office, the flowery promises turned into a great, big, inhumane disaster once he took office, the Times reported Saturday.

And you know it’s bad if the New York Times is hitting the administration for this.

According to the report, while aides clashed and bickered and the Republicans pounced, Biden resorted to begging his staffers to tell him what to do.

“Who do I need to fire to fix this?” the president raged during a fraught Oval Office meeting on the border crisis in March 2021, according to the Times.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy would not commit to impeaching President Joe Biden if the Republicans take back control of the House of Representatives in the fall.

But, he added, the House would “follow the facts,” if Biden’s conduct rose to the level of an impeachable offense.

“We’re not going to use it for political purposes,” McCarthy told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on her program “Sunday Morning Futures,” saying that’s what the Democrats did.

“We believe in the rule of law,” McCarthy continued. “We’re not going to pick and choose just because somebody has power. We’re going to uphold the law.

“At any time, if someone breaks the law and the ramification becomes impeachment, we would move towards that. But we’re not going to use it for political purposes.”

McCarthy listed the issues that the Republicans would be dialed in on if they regain the majority.
