WaPo Bemoans the 'Foxification' of Trump Admin, So Ari Fleischer Reminds Them About Obama Admin Makeup

President Trump's decision to promote Heather Nauert has given critics reason to believe the White House is turning into the Fox News channel. Nauert was a Fox News anchor who was then hired by Trump to be the State Department spokeswoman. On Friday, Trump was pleased to announce she was going to replace Nikki Haley as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
A few other former Fox News employees and managers went to work for Trump, many of whom ended up in his communications office. Bill Shine, former co-president of Fox News, is now the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications. Mercedes Schlapp was a Fox News commentator before she too was hired to work in the White House communications office. Tony Sayegh, a former Fox contributor, now serves in communications at the Treasury Department. Other former Fox employees now serve in other capacities in the Trump administration, including in national security.
"That’s a remarkable bit of interplay between the administration and the network that is also the only one Trump has praised regularly since taking office, the one he watches the most and the one that’s the most popular with his base," Bump writes.
But, Fleischer's comparison doesn't hold water, according to those who responded to him, because Trump hired so many journalists from the same address and promoted them to positions of higher prominence than Obama.
Fleischer had an answer for that too.

Washington Post's Philip Bump was among those who noticed the trend. In his latest piece, he analyzes what he terms the "Foxification" of the Trump administration.
This criticism gave former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer pause. He did some math and found that Trump's predecessor was guilty of hiring quite a few journalists too.
Fleischer had an answer for that too.
No, silly. Barack Obama had his pick of reporters from every network, newspaper and magazine. They almost all fell for him, and those who didn’t join his Administration loved him and gave him soft coverage for 8 years.
In a move that should set off alarm bells with privacy advocates everywhere and with anyone who uses or has used social media, legislation has been introduced in the New York state legislature that would force residents seeking to either purchase a firearm, or renew their permit, to give law enforcement access to their social media history along with their use of internet search engines for the previous three years.

When Comey signed off on the FISA warrant request to the FISA Court to obtain a legal basis to spy on Carter Page and President Trump he lied.
Yesterday it was reported that a long email chain was uncovered that provides evidence that former FBI Head James Comey and others in his inner circle signed and sent a FISA warrant application to the FISA Court and that they knew the FISA warrant was fraudulent.
Since the emails are labeled classified by the Deep State DOJ and FBI, Comey wanted to have his testimony in front of Congress this week in the open so he wouldn’t have to discuss his criminal actions like this one.
Yesterday, John Solomon from the Hill reported that a long email chain was uncovered that the Republican House members added to the list of documents they would like President Trump to un-classify and release to the American public.

Former FBI Director James Comey is reportedly in this long email chain which is dated October of 2016 – just before the FBI obtained its first FISA warrant on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.
“If these documents are released, the American public will have clear and convincing evidence to see the FISA warrant that escalated the Russia probe just before Election Day was flawed and the judges (were) misled,” one knowledgeable source told John Solomon.
1..The FBI acknowledged in the emails there were intelligence community concerns about the Steele dossier before they secured a FISA warrant.
2..The FBI knew Steele was talking to the media before they obtained a FISA warrant.
This is significant because the FBI has maintained for the last two years that they fired Christopher Steele after they obtained the FISA warrant after finding out he violated FBI protocol by speaking to the media.
The FBI used Michael Isikoff’s Yahoo News article as a source to corroborate the Steele dossier when presenting evidence to the FISC. If they knew Steele was Isikoff’s source, the FBI is guilty of circular intelligence reporting which of course is against protocol. They presented the two sources as independent which means they defrauded the FISC.

Third Circuit Supports NJ Magazine Ban

New Jersey wants to restrict magazine capacity, and the state wants you to turn in your magazines that don’t comply with the new magazine limit.
Some folks who didn’t like this idea took their case to court. Unfortunately, the Third Circuit has decided that the Second Amendment isn’t a thing in New Jersey.
December 5, 2018. In a 2-1 decision, a panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit refused to stop the enforcement of New Jersey’s 10-round magazine ban.
The majority, in an opinion by Judge Shwartz and joined by Judge Greenaway, both appointed by President Obama, held that the ban did not violate the Second Amendment because it reasonably advanced the State’s interest in reducing mass shootings without severely burdening the rights of law-abiding citizens. >>>

In the wake of a bombshell Daily Caller News Foundation investigative report late last week, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley demanded answers from FBI Director Christopher Wray about a Nov. 19 bureau raid on the home of a recognized whistleblower.The whistleblower, Dennis Cain, who was once employed by an FBI contractor, reportedly turned over documents to the Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz regarding the bureau’s failure to investigate potential criminal activity regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and the Russian company that purchased Uranium One.Horowitz subsequently deemed Cain a whistleblower protected under the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act, Cain’s lawyer, Michael Socarras, told TheDCNF.Grassley sent a letter to Wray on Nov. 30 asking pointed questions about the raid on Cain’s private residence in Union Bridge, Maryland.

Report: Migrants Breach Southern Border, Escape Into U.S.
Migrants have reportedly broken though the U.S. border at Tijuana, Mexico and some may have escaped. Reuters reports that about 25 migrants climbed a 10-foot metal fence as darkness descended Monday night.
U.S. Border Patrol guards caught most of them, according to Reuters, but others may have escaped detention. Witnesses say the would-be refugees used blankets and ropes to climb over the wall, where thousands of them remain, despite Tijuana’s apparent resolve to move the migrants further south amid reports of infectious diseases at the border shelter.
One witness told Reuters that she and her three children were just watching other migrants scale the fence and “waiting to see what happens.” However, according to the news outlet, she and her family were over the border within two hours.
The border incursion occurred as chaos continues to define the status of the caravan migrants and as President Donald Trump promotes his border wall with renewed fervor. He has vowed to proceed with the development of the wall, despite threats of a government shutdown by his opponents in Congress. Trump is also challenging a federal judge’s ruling that the federal government must assess the refugee status of migrants who illegally enter the U.S.

Gun control hasn’t worked. This is an inescapable conclusion based on what we see. Despite having piles of regulations, crime plagues many areas, and people commit these crimes with guns despite all those laws.
So the anti-gunners have started going after ammunition. Their thinking is that if you restrict the ammunition, criminals will suddenly become loving, caring people.

This week in Yuma, a number of individuals were caught dropping children over the border fence. Thousands of illegal aliens from Central America have flooded into the country since October.
"We have a challenging and still potentially volatile situation in Tijuana. We've got well over 7,000 migrants there. They're well organized and brought to the border by a group and we told they would be able to cross easily into the U.S. to present an asylum claim. That is not the case," U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan said in an interview Tuesday morning."We do see individuals trying to cross illegally in the San Diego sector, we are addressing that activity and then of course you saw the scenes of the family literally dropping children over the fence. That was in the Yuma Sector in Arizona, also interdicted and apprehended by Border Patrol agents."
I sincerely hope that some republican in congress will have the fortitude to step up and see that she is charged.... If she helped get them into the country and is bragging that she did it to spite Trump, then she must have broken some law or statute......LOCK HER SORRY ASS UP !!!
