Trump: Cruz, Kasich Shouldn't Speak at Convention Unless They Endorse Me

Donald Trump told The New York Times that if his former rivals, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, do not endorse him, they should not be allowed to speak at the Republican National Convention.
"If there's no endorsement, I would not invite them to speak," Trump said, adding that his supporters would not approve of attempts to derail the billionaire developer's nomination at the convention.
"You mean to tell me we're going to get the largest vote in the history of Republican primaries, and now the same people that either didn't run or got beaten in a landslide are going to try and back-end?" Trump said, according to the Times.
"My supporters are tremendously loyal to me. They would not stand for it."
Trump might not have a say in whether Cruz or Kasich speak at the convention, the Times reports. According to party rules, since Cruz obtained a majority of delegates in at least eight states, he would probably be allowed a chance to speak.
The presumptive GOP nominee may be finding it difficult to get speakers for the convention. Politico interviewed more than 50 well-known Republicans and many have said they would not be attending.
Utah Republican Rep. Mia Love said, "I see no upsides to it."
Trump's three children are expected to get prime-time speaking roles, but aside from them, it's still unsure.
One GOP fundraiser told Politico a convention appearance is valuable to a political career. "The exposure has enormous upsides for someone who performs well," Fred Malek said. "This is the Republican convention, not the Trump convention.

An Associated Press review of the official calendar Hillary Clinton kept as secretary of state identified at least 75 meetings with longtime political donors, Clinton Foundation contributors and corporate and other outside interests that were not recorded or omitted the names of those she met.
The fuller details of those meetings were included in files the State Department turned over to the AP after it sued the government in federal court.
The missing entries raise new questions about how Clinton and her inner circle handled government records documenting her State Department tenure – in this case, why the official chronology of her four-year term does not closely mirror the other, more detailed records of her daily meetings.

Poll Finds Majority Of Americans Now Favor Trump’s Muslim Immigration Ban…

When Donald Trump originally proposed a temporary ban on Muslims entering the country, polling showed that nearly six-in-ten Americans were opposed to the idea. Since that time, public opinion has gradually shifted to the extent that the number of Americans in favor of the proposition now consistently exceeds the number of those opposed to it.
“Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on,” said a statement from the Trump campaign on December 7, 2015.
Three days later, the Wall Street Journal released a poll that found 57 percent of Americans objected to the proposed Muslim ban. Just 25 percent of those polled supported Trump’s plan at the time. CBS released similar polling results the next day. In the CBS poll, 58 percent of Americans opposed a temporary ban on Muslim immigration and 36 percent supported it. […]
Reuters has kept a rolling poll on the subject since May. On May 31, Reuters found that 54.5 percent of Americans disagreed with the Muslim ban and 40.7 percent supported it.
By June 6, the same poll found that 52 percent of Americans supported the ban, while 44 percent opposed it.
The Reuters poll has remained steady after the Orlando terror attack. On June 14, fifty percent of likely voters supported a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States, while 42 percent opposed it.

Liberal Reporter Attempts to Buy "Assault Rifle" to Prove How Easy It Is, Gets Rejected   Leah Barkoukis Posted: Jun 21, 2016

In the wake of the Orlando massacre, Chicago Sun Times reporter Neil Steinberg set out to buy an “assault rifle,” presumably to prove how easy it is. But the process didn't exactly go as planned.

In his column titled "Would-be Terrorists Can Buy Guns, But a Reporter? No," he points out how a journalist in Philadelphia was able to buy an "assault rifle” in less than 10 minutes. He also noted the percentage of gun transactions in America that don’t go through a background check, and so on.  But not at the gun shop he visited. After filling out the required paperwork asking if he was an illegal alien, a fugitive, or whether he had been convicted on charges of domestic abuse, the reporter handed over $842.50 for a Smith & Wesson M & P 15 Sport II. He'd just made his first gun purchase. Since Illinois has a 24-hour waiting period after buying a firearm and taking possession of it, however, Steinberg had to wait.

Unfortunately for him, the gun store later called to say they were canceling the sale, but initially did not say why, as is their right.

Loretta Lynch Stunned Everyone With This Admission About Hillary’s FBI Investigation

When Barack Obama endorsed Hillary Clinton for President – while she was being investigated by the FBI – many observers questioned if It was a conflict of interest.
While the FBI can recommend criminal charges, it is up to Obama’s Department of Justice to actually prosecute Hillary.
Many critics blasted Obama for endorsing Clinton before the FBI investigation was complete.
Obama’s endorsement could put implied pressure on the Department of Justice to not pursue the criminal case, should the FBI recommend charges.
And critics are blasting Obama because his endorsement could taint the FBI’s decision to recommend charges at all.
However, Attorney General Loretta Lynch stunned observers when she claimed there was no conflict of interest by Obama endorsing Hillary.
She also stated she had never discussed Hillary’s emails with Obama.
Lynch made both of these admissions during an interview on “Fox News Sunday”.
The Hill reports:

“We’ve never discussed the Clinton case,” Lynch said on “Fox News Sunday.”
“I’ve never spoken about it with the president or really anyone at the White House. That’s not the kind of relationship that I have with the people there, and it would be inappropriate to do so.”
Lynch said Sunday that the president’s endorsement of Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, does not create a conflict of interest for her or for the Justice Department — although she is an appointee of the president. The attorney general met with the president following his endorsement of Clinton.
“I don’t get involved on whom the president endorses,” she said.
“The investigation into the State Department email matter is going to be handled like any other matter. We’ve got career agents and lawyers looking at that. They will follow the facts and follow the evidence wherever it leads and come to a conclusion.”

So what did Lynch and Obama discuss after he endorsed Hillary?
It strains believability to think Obama and his Attorney General did not discuss the scandal surrounding the candidate he just endorsed.
If they didn’t discuss Hillary’s email scandal, why would Obama meet with his Attorney General immediately after announcing the endorsement?
The Obama administration operates like a well oiled political machine where everyone stays on message.
After the Orlando terror attacks, administration officials – from Obama on down – all blamed the shooting on the NRA and gun laws; not radical Islamic terrorism.
Critics contend that there is no way Obama would endorse Hillary unless he and his Attorney General were already on the same page regarding her email scandal.

As Senate Democrats were launching their offensive against Second Amendment rights last night, Townhall’s Leigh Wolf decided to venture onto the Capitol Grounds to see how many armed police officers (aka good guys with guns) were present protecting lawmakers inside.
The results were as expected. There were a lot of good guys with guns.

Capitol Police certainly had AR-15s available, but it’s odd how these firearms aren’t considered “weapons of war” when they’re in the hands of law enforcement or other government entities. As soon as a civilian owns one, it’s a problem. At the same time, we all know that Democrats consider gun ownership a government right, not an individual one. That’s precisely wrong. Nevertheless, have fun watching Leigh tally the many "death machines" that are present around the Capitol Building.
