Chuck Todd Confronts Trump About Kids at the Border: ‘They’re Being Held Hostage’  By Tommy ChristopherJun 23rd, 2019

NBC News anchor Chuck Todd grilled President Donald Trump over the mistreatment of migrant children at the southern border, asking him, “Why aren’t you doing something?”

Todd’s exclusive interview with Trump aired on Sunday morning’s edition of NBC News’ Meet the Press, and included an exchange about the most recent reporting on deplorable conditions for migrant children at the southern border.

While Todd repeatedly pressed Trump about his administration’s failure to care for the children humanely, he also allowed several Trump falsehoods to go unchallenged.

“I want to ask what’s going down with the, these, the children in these migrant camps,” Todd said. “The stories are horrible, Mr. President. You have children without their parents. You have kids taking care of kids.”

“You’ve, you’ve read these reports,” Todd continued, as Trump agreed, “I know people are coming to you. I know you think this is the Democrats’ problem.”

As Trump began to answer, Todd said “Forget it! Why aren’t you doing something? “They’re in terrible shape down there, Mr. President. Down in Homestead, Florida, that’s where I grew up, it’s, the conditions are terrible.”

On this day in history, June 24, 1924, the Klan-dominated Democrat National Convention convened at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The national delegation were mainly members of the Ku Klux Klan. The Klan attended in large numbers in support William McAdoo for President of the United States.

They also attended in support of their members on the Democrat Platflorm Committee. These are copies of the front page of the New York Times and the Washington Post after opening day of the meeting.

The Democrat Party raised a banner near Madison Square Garden to welcome Klan members.

The Washington Post also published a cartoon of a Klan member riding a donkey to illustrate the Klan's influence over the Democrat Party.

Maybe.....cities, states and the Feds should bring back the DEATH penalty...Especially for these mass shootings....and USE IT....!!!

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The student credited with tackling a gunman during a fatal North Carolina campus rampage suffered eight gunshot wounds, and another slain student was shot six times, according to autopsies released Tuesday.

An autopsy made public by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said Riley Howell had four wounds to the head or neck, two to the chest and one on each arm during the April 30 shooting at UNC-Charlotte that killed two and wounded four. A Charlotte-area examiner found that the chest wounds, one of which was at close range, caused fatal injuries to the heart, lungs and other organs.

The other slain student, Ellis Reed Parlier, 19, had six wounds, including one to the head and two to the back, according to his autopsy.

Police have said Howell, 21, saved lives by charging the gunman and bringing him to the ground.

The motive for the shooting hasn't been made clear, but investigative documents say Terrell, a former UNC-Charlotte student, spent months planning the shooting. He told investigators he gave up on the attack after Howell brought him down. Police say in the documents they found the handgun believed to be used in the shooting nearby.

Witnesses have said the gunman took aim at a specific table in the classroom, but it wasn't clear if he was targeting one or more of the students in particular. The faculty member who taught the class has said Terrell was enrolled in the course but quit attending in January.

A lawyer for Terrell declined comment Tuesday.

The shooting on the last day of class threw the campus into chaos as students fled the building, ran for cover or sheltered in place. The university recently announced that the classroom won't be used again.

Rumors are emerging from Italy that a plan existed and was put in play for Italian Intelligence to hack into servers on American soil, plant classified emails from Hillary's servers, and then alert the FBI...

...the FBI would then raid these locations, "discover" these e-mails, investigate, link these servers to Trump...

And then force Trump to resign.

Don't believe me. Read this. And ask yourself why Obama is visiting a former prime minister on his latest boondoggle to Italy? Could Hillary have used Obama's FBI to frame Trump?

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — The father of a victim of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre has won a defamation lawsuit against the authors of a book that claimed the shooting never happened — the latest victory for victims' relatives who have been taking a more aggressive stance against conspiracy theorists.

The book, "Nobody Died at Sandy Hook," has also been pulled from shelves to settle claims against its publisher filed by Lenny Pozner, whose 6-year-old son Noah was killed in the shooting.

                       Former Clinton campaign strategist and life-long Democrat Mark Penn said that Democrats are hurting the country by pushing for investigations on President Donald Trump.

Speaking with Mark Levin on Fox News Sunday, Penn drew on his experience dealing with impeachment in the Clinton administration.

“I spent a lot of time with President Clinton, and I spent an entire year, 1998, on an impeachment that didn't happen that tore the country apart. And I thought at that time, ‘Never again.’ And then I see all of those things developing again. In fairness, even worse.” (Fox News)

Penn said that Democrats must understand that no collusion was found and move on to issues that Americans “care about.”

“I think the duty would have been to look at the Mueller report, understand that Russia collusion was not found. That finding obstruction of something that wasn't obstructed is ludicrous. And to move on, to get onto infrastructure, to get on healthcare. Get on the issues they care about...These investigations are really -- were started on the basis of no real evidence and look how they were allowed to tear our country apart."

Penn continued by saying that Democrats have successfully        “whipped everyone up” with the "biggest lie ever perpetuated on the American public."

Second former GOP state senator found shot dead in two days, this time in Oklahoma  Blake Alsup    Daily News 

A second former GOP state senator was found dead from a gunshot within a span of two days.

Former Oklahoma state Sen. Jonathan Nichols, 53, was found dead inside his home in Norman on Wednesday night from an apparent gunshot wound, police said. Cops are working with the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the exact cause and manner of death.

His death comes just one day after former Arkansas state Sen. Linda Collins-Smith, 56, was found fatally shot outside her home in Pocahontas on Tuesday. Police are investigating her death as a homicide.

There’s a scene in the movie “Tombstone” where Kurt Russell’s character, Wyatt Earp, was surrounded by cowboys who told him to “turn loose” one of their partners who had just murdered the town marshal. Earp, standing alone and determined to enforce the law, had to think quickly as he was about to be rushed by several cowboys – including Ike Clanton, who had threatened him earlier against all the law stuff: “Hey Law Dog, law don’t go ‘round here.”

With no options, Earp pointed his gun at Ike’s forehead and said, “You die first, get it? Your friends might get me in a rush but not before I make your head into a canoe; you understand me?” Ike understood and called off the cowboys.

“You’re not as stupid as you look, Ike,” said Earp.

In the Mexico tariff standoff, Trump – America’s chief law enforcer – was in an Earp predicament. He was not only being rushed by a complicit Mexican government, but by hordes of illegal aliens, lawless “immigrant rights” groups, the liberal-leftist media, cowardly and ill-willed politicians in both parties, and a myopic U.S. Chamber of Commerce. They’ve all been stopping him from enforcing the law. So, Trump picked up the only weapon in his holster, pointed it at their heads, and promised to pull the trigger if they kept it up – not knowing if things would end well.
