Axios: Pelosi Has Conceded That Impeachment Is Inevitable
Matt Vespa Posted: Sep 24, 2019

Well, we may not have to wait until Thursday to know how Speaker Nancy Pelosi falls regarding the impeachment question. Axios is reporting that she’s telling close friends that she knows this is going to happen. She’s conceded the inevitability of it, though she reportedly hates the politics of it. And now, Guy just wrote that NBC News’ Howard Fineman is reporting that the House speaker will call for a formal inquiry into impeaching the president (via Axios):

Pelosi has told friends that impeachment now feels unavoidable, according to someone who discussed it with her last night. She hates the politics of it, but has succumbed to the inevitability, the source says.
Here's where it stands as she heads into meetings with House committee chairs and the Democratic Caucus:
On the merits, Pelosi now sees a potential necessity for impeachment even if she dislikes the political impact it could have.
One key factor driving Pelosi's thinking is that the White House so far has refused to turn over the whistleblower's complaint about Trump's actions — something it is required by law to do.

The End Is Nigh! Over 40 Years Of Doomsday Predictions In Media

There have been a lot of interesting predictions of the end times for man over the years. And a lot of interesting remedies to avoid them - from covering arctic sea ice with soot to lots of tax dollars, mainly a whole lot of tax dollars.
REPORT: New York Times Reporter Coached Kavanaugh Witness 2019-09-24 Source: TTN by: TTN Staff

A new report from The Federalist has exposed text messages showing the anti-Kavanaugh New York Times reporter coached the witnesses against him on what to say in order to further their narrative.

According to The Federalist:
Year-old texts contained in a Senate Judiciary Committee report show that New York Times reporter Robin Pogrebin engaged in questionable journalistic tactics to shape a false narrative against Kavanaugh by telling a source what to say and by asking sources to confirm information she herself had given them. And despite including a highly opinionated discussion of the text exchange in their book, the authors never admitted that Pogrebin was a key player in the exchanges.

Pogrebin made a bizarre and unsupported claim this week that Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh had told her to lie. It turned out Pogrebin had mischaracterized discussions with the Supreme Court’s public information officer, not Kavanaugh, who had merely explained the terms of an off-the-record interview that was being sought and never obtained. Despite the many errors and false claims Pogrebin and her co-author Kate Kelly made, corporate media picked up on this false statement as if it were true.

Whistleblow THIS: There is No Whistleblower!  Kevin McCullough  Posted: Sep 22, 2019

There is no high-level whistleblower.

None.

So everything you’ve heard about said “whistleblower’s complaint” you can discard as easily as the media can repeat it all.

For days on end we’ve seen non-stop dribble about President Trump’s “abuse of power.” For days we’ve been told convoluted stories of how the president — on an official call — which had many ears tuned in — openly did “something” that was of “urgent concern.”

The main reason it was labeled as such?

The whistleblower claimed it was.

We’ve been told of grandiose actions by the president that supposedly indicated he was withholding aid to a foreign government. Never mind that this president has since the beginning of his campaign run on the idea that he might stop all foreign aid as means to re-evaluate any single nation’s willingness to advance American interests.

The implication of that threatened withholding seemed to be based on some sort of ill-described plot of that nation’s refusal to investigate “Trump’s political opponent.” (Never mind that the president is allowed to on any level he wishes advise any national leader he chooses, on or about nearly anything he’d like.)

We have been told that the “opponent” he wanted investigated is Joe Biden. (Never mind that Biden is not now, and will likely not be his political opponent, but rather a former candidate for President who’s never gotten more than 6 percent in any national election.)
Also... Biden is now running second, in the first in the nation caucus state of Iowa.

We have had it told to us that the president was pressuring said country to investigate Hunter Biden’s connection to extremely prosperous dealing in said country. The president has implied that when Joe Biden had been vice president that he may have been able to press his thumb to the scale—using his official capacity in office—to enrich his son. (Never mind that the president has repeatedly told the White House press corps, the American people, and even leaders of other governments that “someone needed to look into that,” on multiple occasions as well.)
The only problem being... there is no whistleblower.

New York Times Front Page Promotes Fake News And Lies About Guns  George Rasley, CHQ Editor | 9/23/19

The Sunday, September 22, 2019 New York Times had a center page above the fold promotion of an article “Inside A Deadly American Summer,” that began with a false premise and ended with an outright lie.

The false premise was that this past summer was somehow more deadly and recorded more fatalities due to “mass shootings.”

As Brad Palumbo documented in a September 3 article for the Washington Examiner, such a claim is completely unfounded. Despite the liberal media’s profit-motivated mass coverage of these tragic events, and despite frequent exploitation by gun-control activists, actual mass shootings remain a statistical rarity and a much-exaggerated threat.

By nearly a factor of four, wrote Palumbo, more people in America die from the flu and pneumonia than by homicide (all homicides, including non-gun homicides).

Due to the fake news about “gun violence” promoted by Far-Left outlets such as The New York Times, much of the population has been scared into radically over-estimating the prevalence of mass shootings and gun violence in general.

Mr. Palumbo reported, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that 4.5 people out of 100,000 die each year from various forms of firearm homicide. Mass shootings, in turn, account for less than 1% of homicides.

Another way of looking at it observed Palumbo is to consider rifle homicides specifically, because the topic always turns to "assault weapons." There are only 300 to 400 deaths in a given year from all rifles, including the ones someone might call "assault weapons."
You are 50% more likely to be killed by a blunt object.
……...……….....................……...………...……….

Which brings us to the outright lie that concludes “Inside A Deadly American Summer.”

“Then a man fleeing a traffic stop began shooting at random at motorists between Odessa and Midland using a military-style rifle. ABC News reported that he bought it through a private-sale loophole after failing a background check because of mental illness.”

Almost nothing in that paragraph, except that a mentally ill man “began shooting at random at motorists between Odessa and Midland” is true.
There is no “private-sale loophole.” It is illegal to sell a gun to a prohibited person, period. Moreover, the gun in question was not a “military-style” gun, but a modern semi-automatic sporting rifle, exactly like the millions of similar guns in private hands today. It was legally manufactured for personal use and was thus illegal to sell to a third party.

Here Is What Trump Had To Say At The UN… And Why It Is So Important    2019-09-23  Source: TTN staff  by: TTN

Trump went before the United Nations and gave a speech that is precedent changing. Trump is the first world leader to stand before the United Nations and give a speech on religious freedom. The UN has seemingly acted as an opponent to religious freedom, this is another one of the organization's greatest failures. Here is why what Trump said is so important:

I have NO college degree in political science. BUT....I don't consider myself to be STUPID..! So...when I read this article, it occurred to me that what Biden tried to do in the Ukraine is VERY similar to what Trump is now being accused of, and.... Who is this WHISTLEBLOWER ? And why is he listening in on a conversation between Trump and the HEAD of ANY country ? Isn't that against SOME law ?? Also ,...how did the Washington Post get the story ? This sounds an awful lot like the "Russian Collusion" now it's the "Ukranian Collusion"...WILL THE DEMORATS NEVER GIVE IT UP...?????...And then there's this..House Intelligence Committee, is a committee of the United States House of Representatives, currently chaired by Adam Schiff..

His call with Trump may have sparked the whistleblower complaint. Who is Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky ? …..

Volodymyr Zelensky had absolutely no political experience when he became Ukraine’s president after an April election he won in a landslide.

But his unexpected rise to power in some ways mirrored the trajectory of the character he was known for playing on TV: Vasyl Holoborodko, a schoolteacher who is elected president after one of his students records him ranting against government corruption and the video goes viral.

Zelensky, 41, became a star in Ukraine for headlining the popular series, called “Servant of the People,” since 2015.

Now, he finds himself facing a new level of international scrutiny in his job in real life.

On Aug. 12, about two and a half weeks after Zelensky spoke by phone with President Trump, a complaint was filed with Michael Atkinson, the U.S. inspector general of the intelligence community, detailing an episode in which Trump allegedly committed a “serious or flagrant problem, abuse or violation of the law.”

Atkinson addressed the concern by labeling it a matter of “urgent concern,” which legally triggered mandatory notification of congressional oversight committees.

That soon sparked a standoff between lawmakers and Washington’s intelligence community, and Joseph Maguire, acting director of national intelligence, has since rebuffed requests to share details of the alleged incident with Congress.

Little else is publicly known about the nature of the complaint. On Wednesday, The Washington Post reported that two former officials said it stemmed from Trump making a “promise” to a foreign leader. On Thursday, The Post reported that two people familiar with the matter specified that the complaint was focused on Ukraine, bringing the focus back to Trump’s call in July with Zelensky.

Trump denied any wrongdoing in tweets following The Post reports. Speaking to reporters on Friday, Trump refused to say whether he mentioned the family of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in his phone call with Zelensky. “It doesn’t matter what I discussed,” he said, adding that it was “a beautiful conversation.”

When he speaks with world leaders, he said, his conversations are “always appropriate … at the highest level, always appropriate.”

Democrats had already launched an investigation into that call over concerns that Trump and his attorney, Rudolph W. Giuliani, are attempting to coerce the Ukrainian government into helping Trump win reelection next year. Democrats have said they believe Trump sought information linked to Biden’s positions on Ukraine that could be used to damage his presidential campaign.

As vice president, Biden took a hard line against Ukrainian corruption. On a 2016 trip to Kiev, when Biden was still in office, he encouraged Ukrainian officials to dismiss the country’s top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, and threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. funding if they did not comply, the New York Times reported in May.

A number of other Western countries also took the position that Shokin needed to step down, citing allegations that he had failed to crack down on corruption.

Biden’s son, Hunter, was serving on the board of a Ukrainian-owned gas company at the time, raising suspicions in some circles that the elder Biden was trying to ensure the prosecutor general, who was investigating the company, did not complete his probe.

NYT Confirms Hunter Biden Was Paid by Ukrainians While Father Was VP

Hunter Biden was a Yale-educated lawyer who had served on the boards of Amtrak and a number of nonprofit organizations and think tanks, but lacked any experience in Ukraine and just months earlier had been discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine. He would be paid as much as $50,000 per month in some months for his work for the company, Burisma Holdings.

The current Ukrainian general prosecutor, Yuriy Lutsenko, has reopened the corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, The Hill reports.

Hunter Biden’s involvement with the Ukrainian energy firm and his sweetheart deals with China’s communist regime while his father was vice president were exposed in Peter Schweizer’s bestselling book Secret Empires.

In an interview last month on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight, Schweizer explained, “Joe Biden was the Obama administration’s point-person on policy towards Ukraine. He steered $1.8 billion in aid to that government and while he was doing so, his son got a sweetheart deal with this energy company that — we’ve been able to trace over just a 14-month period — paid $3.1 million into an account where Hunter Biden was getting paid.”

“Suffice to say, Hunter Biden has no background in Ukraine,” Schweizer noted. “He has no background in energy policy. There’s really no legitimate explanation as to why he got this deal with this energy company, other than the fact his father was responsible for doling out money in Ukraine itself.”

“It’s a huge problem,” Schweizer added. “And it goes to this question of corruption and potential payoffs and bribes that these foreign entities were making to the Bidens in exchange for hopefully getting favorable treatment.”

Maryland’s ‘Red Flag’ Law Turns Deadly: Officer Kills Man Who Refused To Turn In Gun   CBS Baltimore

FERNADALE, Md. (WJZ) — A 61-year-old man is dead after he was shot by an officer trying to enforce Maryland’s new ‘red flag’ law in Ferndale Monday morning.

Anne Arundel County Police confirmed the police-involved shooting happened in the 100 block of Linwood Avenue around 5:17 a.m.

According to police, two officers serving a new Extreme Risk Protective Order (Red Flag Law), a Maryland protective order to remove guns from a household, shot and killed the man listed on that order.

“Under the law, family, police, mental health professionals can all ask for the protective orders to remove weapons,” said Sgt. Jacklyn David, with Anne Arundel County Police.
