House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) just took China’s side in the ongoing blame game over the pandemic.
Look, China has been lying and those lies led to the entire world being unprepared for what happened.
It is not Trump’s fault – sure mistakes were made initially in dealing with this problem as are made in any crisis, but to say calling out China is “doing a disservice to our country” as Schiff is suggesting is nonsense.
And a disgrace.

First, we heard Russia! Russia! Russia! Once Special Counsel Robert Mueller proved the Trump campaign didn’t collude with Russia, Schiff moved on to his next fixation: Ukraine.
We were then told that President Trump engaged in quid pro quo, that he threatened to withhold military aid unless Ukraine investigated Joe and Hunter Biden for corruption. He pushed full steam ahead with impeachment.
And once that failed he’s now onto his new fixation: China.
In Schiff’s eyes, Trump is “deflecting” by blaming China for the Wuhan coronavirus.
“His effort to deflect responsibility onto China for many of the administration’s own failings,” he said during an interview on MSNBC. “… It’s a real disservice, a continuing disservice to the country.”
The fact of the matter is this: the coronavirus started in Wuhan. China did everything in their power to hide the virus. Taiwan tried to blow the whistle on what happened and the World Health Organization turned their back.
If President Trump failed to lead the country, he wouldn’t have halted flights from China even though everyone – including the WHO – advised against it. Our nation would be completely ravaged by this virus. One death is one too many. But without that one decision, millions of Americans would be dead.
Schiff can say holding China accountable is a disservice but really, he’s doing a disservice by covering for the regime and coverup.

Back in November, SeNs. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) asked the National Archives and Records Administration for Obama White House documents related to former Vice President Biden and his son Hunter’s work for a corrupt Ukrainian gas company. The Office of Barack Obama responded in March by sending a letter to the National Archives condemning the request…
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) didn’t seem all that surprised by Obama’s letter and came to an immediate conclusion.
“There’s been rumors for quite awhile that people within the Obama administration knew about the corruption problems with Hunter Biden, that they warned the vice president, and maybe even the president about it,” Sen. Paul said on Fox News on Wednesday. “I think there could be a smoking gun, that there’s actually a record of some of these complaints that were going on at the time.”
Paul referenced reports that have suggested that people around Joe Biden were warning him “this Hunter Biden thing looks bad,” but he never took action.
Trump’s desire to get to the bottom of Biden’s corruption in Ukraine led him to send a letter to the new president of Ukraine asking him to look into the matter. An action that led to the Democratic attempt to have him removed from office via impeachment.
I would expect this from the House...But not the Senate..! BUT then again...It's Elizabeth Warren......
Secretary of Defense Mark Esper fired back at Senate Democrats who were critical of the response to the coronavirus.
According to The Hill:
Defense Secretary Mark Esper shot back Tuesday at a group of Democratic senators who last week panned him for what they described as a failure to sufficiently respond to the coronavirus pandemic.
“I am very disappointed that members of Congress, particularly those who sit on the Armed Services Committee and who receive weekly updates from us, would write a letter that includes a number of misleading, false or inaccurate statements,” Esper said during a press briefing at the Pentagon.
Esper added the department provides lawmakers with “complete, accurate and timely information,” and said he has spoken to the chairmen and ranking members of the Armed Services committees multiple times.
“We recognize Congress has an important oversight role, but it should be an informed oversight role, and we are committed to doing that to address any members’ concerns,” he said.
Esper was responding to a letter from Senator Elizabeth Warren expressing concern over the Pentagon’s response. It was signed by 9 other Democrat senators.

Almost no one is opposed to reasonable efforts at making the world a safer place. But the operating word here is “reasonable.” Banning lawn darts, for example, rather than just telling people that they can be dangerous when used by unsupervised children, is a perfect example of a craving for safety gone too far.
Beyond the realm of legislation, this has begun to infect our very culture. Think of things like “trigger warnings” and “safe spaces.” These are part of broader cultural trends in search of a kind of “emotional safety” – a purported right to never be disturbed or offended by anything. ‘Selfish Behavior’: New York Mayor and Wife Heckled for Traveling to Brooklyn for Exercise Apr. 28th 2020
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and wife Chirlane McCray were heckled while walking through Brooklyn’s Prospect Park on April 25 for traveling from Manhattan to exercise during the coronavirus pandemic. In this video, filmed by Darren Goldner, de Blasio and McCray can be seen walking through the park on the Saturday. In the background, Goldner can be heard saying: “Seriously, you guys have a park, you live in the middle of a park. You don’t need to non-essentially travel to Brooklyn.” At one point, de Blasio can be heard responding, “C’mon guys, give it a break.” Goldner continues to follow the mayor for a brief period while recording, adding: “I’m not going to give it a break, this is selfish behavior. You call yourself a progressive, but you chauffeur yourself to Brooklyn. You force people to drive you.” De Blasio’s official residence, Gracie Mansion, is located within Carl Schurz Park in Manhattan, however he has reportedly been seen several times walking in Prospect Park, more than 10 miles away, during the city’s COVID-19 lockdown. The mayor has previously defended his practicing of walking in the park, saying in one interview that he liked to go to his home neighborhood to exercise. Representative Jim Jordan (R., Ohio), the ranking member on the House Oversight Committee, and 27 other Republican lawmakers said in a Tuesday letter that “the American people deserve to have transparency about why public figures such as Chairman Schiff continued to promote such wild accusations.”
“We understand now that Chairman Schiff is blocking the release of these transcripts. This news, if accurate, is disturbing — especially in light of Chairman Schiff’s cries in 2019 for transparency regarding allegations that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia,” the letter reads. “For almost four years, prominent Democrat politicians and commentators alleged that President Trump colluded with Russia, with Chairman Schiff going as far as to say that he had ‘direct evidence’ of collusion.”
The House Intelligence Committee voted to release the interviews in September 2018, and a spokesperson for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which conducted a review of the transcripts to proof for and redact classified information, told the Daily Caller on May 31, 2019, that the process would be completed “very soon.” But the transcripts have yet to be made public, with the Washington Examiner reporting that 43 of the 53 interviews have been declassified, while ODNI wants the other 10 transcripts to be reviewed by the White House as part of the declassification process — a move Schiff has blocked.
The Republicans state that “short of full public disclosure,” they still “require access to this material for our ongoing oversight of the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.” On Monday, Jordan and Representative Mike Johnson (R., La.) asked FBI Director Christopher Wray to turn over all documents and communications related to the FBI’s “Crossfire Razor” investigation of former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn. The request comes days after the release of FBI notes that Republicans have argued prove Flynn was ensnared in a “perjury trap.”

Trump's blunt reasoning for refusing to cooperate with congressional oversight handled by members of the opposition party marked a shift from the explanation offered by the White House a day earlier that officials tasked with coronavirus response were too busy to accommodate every request to testify before congressional committees.
A House Appropriations subcommittee had sought testimony from Anthony Fauci, the nation's top infectious diseases expert, about the federal government's handling of the coronavirus response. But the White House blocked Fauci from testifying at a hearing scheduled for Wednesday, instead saying that he will testify next week before the GOP-controlled Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.
Trump made clear on Tuesday that his administration is deliberately choosing which committees can hear from top officials based on which party is in charge. Senate Democrats will still be able to ask pointed questions at committee hearings, but the proceedings will be managed by Republicans.
"The House is a set up. The House is a bunch of Trump haters," Trump told reporters outside the White House.

Flynn pled guilty in 2017 to making false statements to the FBI as part of Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation into Russian interference during the 2016 elections.

During the primaries, the DNC blatantly tilted its primary system in favor of Clinton. Then-DNC chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was repeatedly criticized for trying to make the Democratic Party presidential debates as few and low-key as possible, to Clinton's advantage.

The Federalist ran an article today on this where they say an FBI member informed them the corruption is so high, the crimes are so grave if A.G. Barr does bring charges we could start to see organizations start to fall apart in this nation as their leadership is ripped out of their positions.
According to them:
The new documents, which were filed under seal by the Department of Justice Friday, allegedly include exonerating evidence about Flynn, who pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators about his conversations with foreign diplomats as Trump’s top incoming foreign policy adviser and is currently attempting to withdraw his plea, as well as evidence of malfeasance by the FBI during its investigation of Flynn.
According to the FBI official who spoke to The Federalist, FBI general counsel Dana Boente led the charge internally against DOJ’s disclosure of the new materials. Boente, who briefly served as acting Attorney General after Trump became president, personally signed off on one of the federal spy warrants against former Trump campaign affiliate Carter Page. The new documents, which were filed under a protective order by DOJ on Friday, will reflect poorly on the FBI, the official told The Federalist. It is not clear when, or even if, those documents will be unsealed and made available to the public for review.
What is more, we see a pervasiveness of corruption within the upper ranks of both the FBI and the Justice Department. It is so deep; if these people are brought up on charges we could see both institutions collapse, the crimes are so extensive, it is not sure Americans will allow them to survive such a scandal. This leaves A.G. Barr in a tight place if he acts, chaos, if not, you encourage this to continue.
President Trump is livid, and rightfully so, he now is talking about giving a pardon to General Flynn to undo this travesty of justice:
