Donald Trump Jr. weighed in on the Putin/Biden drama on Thursday night and he said what many Americans are thinking.
“Putin just challenged Joe Biden to an unscripted live debate,” Don Jr. wrote on Twitter. “The whole world knows that we have no leadership at the top just an empty suit with a teleprompter (and he can’t even get that right).”
“They look at America’s weakness right now and are salivating,” he added.

Joe Biden called President Vladimir Putin a “killer,” and in response, Putin wants to have a live debate with Biden.
Biden this week decided to show what a tough guy he is and take swipes at Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Putin has responded in kind, The Daily Mail reported.
“I would say to him: I wish you good health,” Putin said of Biden. “I say that without irony and not as a joke.”
Putin was apparently made aware of the comment and challenged Biden to a live debate as soon as Friday.
Putin said:
I want to propose to President Biden to continue our discussion, but on the condition that we do it basically live, as it’s called. Without any delays and directly in an open, direct discussion.It seems to me that would be interesting for the people of Russia and for the people of the United States.”
“I don’t want to put this off for long. I want to go to the taiga this weekend to relax a little. So we could do it tomorrow or Monday. We are ready at any time convenient for the American side.”
“You know, I remember, in childhood, when we were arguing with each other in the courtyard, we would say, ‘I know you are, but what am I?’ and that’s no accident. It’s not just a childish saying. There is a very deep meaning in that.”
The comments come after the White House has spent weeks telegraphing a tougher posture toward Russia under a Biden administration – and Moscow has once again bristled at accusations that it serves as a ‘malign’ influence in global affairs.
‘Our administration is going to take a different approach in our relationship to Russia than the prior administration,’ White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in her briefing on Wednesday, pointing to Biden’s comments in the interview with ABC News.
Fueling the rising tensions is a startling new assessment by U.S. intelligence that lays out Russia’s campaign to influence the 2020 elections – on the heels of the Treasury Department slapping sanctions on officials as retaliation for the poisoning of opposition figure Alexei Navalny with a chemical agent. Among those hit with sanctions was the director of Russia’s foreign intelligence service, the FSB.
And the comments mark the latest time when the new Biden team has sought to draw a sharp line on Russia distinguishing it from former President Donald Trump – who repeatedly praised Putin and even appeared to take Putin’s side when he denied allegations of election interference during their infamous summit in Helsinki.
Imagine the media outrage if Donald Trump had called another world leader a “killer” and then got into a childish verbal spat with them.
But because it’s Old Joe, they give him a pass for everything.

In an interview with House Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas), the former Acting Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Mark Morgan, said the “bank accounts” of smugglers “are being filled on the backs of the migrants, and at the cost of our national economic security.”
“First of all, it is a crisis” at the U.S.-Mexico border, said Morgan, during the Mar. 9 edition of the podcast “Hold These Truths with Dan Crenshaw.” Morgan was the CBP acting commissioner in 2019-2021. He also served for three months as the acting director of ICE in 2019.
Fox News also reported criminal organizations trafficking women, children, families and single adults over the U.S.-Mexico border earned as much as $14 million a day in February, according to border patrol sources.
“Trafficking is a multibillion-dollar industry,” said former Tucson Border Patrol Chief Roy Villareal, who retired in December after 30 years with the agency. “A lot of these vulnerable populations use their life savings. Some are essentially indentured servants and they’re working off this debt for a long period of time. In other cases, some of these migrants are asked to transport narcotics or some form of crime to work off a different part of their debt.”
The human smuggling windfall comes as U.S. taxpayer costs for the border crisis continue to spike, topping $5 million a day, based on 2019 figures provided by Health and Human Services that put daily “influx” shelter costs at $800 per migrant. Additionally, last week the Biden administration awarded a $86 million contract for hotel rooms to hold 1,200 migrant families as the crisis exceeds ICE holding capacity.
In the past, “a thousand apprehensions was a bad day, and we’re looking right now at 4,500 to 5,000 per day,” he added. This figure corresponds with February’s fiscal year-to-date border apprehension and enforcement statistics issued by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection .

None of the gun laws would have prevented the killings, remember the old saying "Guns don't kill people, People kill people". If someone wants you DEAD, they can find a way to kill you, gun, knife, baseball bat, automobile or many other ways to kill. Using a gun is just quicker, easier and sometimes better to avoid identification. As usual, the lawmakers go after implementing laws that only affect the law abiding gun owners. If an outlaw wants a gun, he'll find a way to get one, certainly NOT from your local gunshop....You'd be surprised at the swiftness of someone attacking with a knife or bat...!!

For the past several days there’s been a steady stream of commentary that uses the murders of eight people in Georgia to push for new gun control measures. The problem for gun control activists, however, is that they can’t seem to offer any specific proposal that would have prevented the attack.
Take this recent editorial from the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland, for example.
We have written these words before. America cannot go on like this.This week, it is Atlanta. Eight people were murdered because a man with hate in his heart decided the solution was a gun and death.
It is a sickness that Annapolis knows from first-hand experience. Five people were murdered in the Capital Gazette newsroom on June 28, 2018, and the consequences of that shooting continue to play out in this community.
Wendi Winters, Rebecca Smith, Gerald Fischman, John McNamara and Rob Hiaasen are a testament to the truth of our national crisis.
Each new mass shooting, though, makes clear there are too many guns in this country and that they are too easy to use for evil purposes. We say confidently that while the circumstances may vary between each mass shooting, the underlying crisis is guns.
Obviously the editorial board of the Gazette has some strong feelings about the issue, given the fact that their colleagues were targeted by a killer who opened fire with a shotgun in the paper’s newsroom. While they certainly have the right to their opinion, the fact that they themselves can’t offer any real proposals other than “get rid of guns” is telling.

WASHINGTON — Sixty days into his administration, President Biden got a taste this week of what the next four years may look like: a new era of bitter superpower competition, marked by perhaps the worst relationship Washington has had with Russia since the fall of the Berlin Wall, and with China since it opened diplomatic relations with the United States.
It has been brewing for years, as President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia and President Xi Jinping of China took sharp turns toward authoritarianism. But it blew up in open fashion this week, after Mr. Biden agreed with the proposition that Mr. Putin is a “killer” and the Chinese, meeting with the United States for the first time since the new administration took office, lectured Americans about the error of their arrogant view that the world wants to replicate their freedoms.
A lot of it was for show, on both sides, with cameras whirring. All of the participants were playing to their domestic audiences, the Biden team included. But it was not entirely an act.
While the Cold War has not resumed — there is little of the nuclear menace of that era, and the current competition is over technology, cyberconflict and influence operations — the scenes playing out now have echoes of the bad old days. As a moment in theatrical diplomacy, the meeting on Thursday and Friday in Anchorage between the Americans and Chinese was reminiscent of when the Soviet premier, Nikita S. Khrushchev, made headlines around the world 60 years ago by banging his shoe on a desk of the United Nations and shouting about American imperialists.
But as veterans of the old Cold War will suggest, the superpower rivalries today bear little resemblance to the past. Mr. Putin himself has lamented that the Russia of the early 21st century is a shadow of the Soviet Union that trained him to be a K.G.B. agent. Russia’s economy is roughly the size of Italy’s. Its greatest power now is to disrupt and instill fear, using nerve agents like Novichok to silence dissenters around the world, or deploying its cyberability to bore deeply into the networks that keep the United States humming.
Yet for all his country’s economic weakness, Mr. Putin has proved highly resilient in the face of escalating international sanctions imposed since he took over Crimea in 2014, and which accelerated after he turned to nerve agents and cyberattacks. It is hard to argue they have curbed his behavior.
Sanctions “are not going to do much good,” Robert M. Gates, a former C.I.A. director and defense secretary, said recently in a public interview with David Ignatius of The Washington Post. “Russia is going to be a challenge for the United States, a national security challenge for the United States, and maybe, in some respects, the most dangerous one, as long as Putin is there.”
For the Chinese, who were still coping with the failures of the Great Leap Forward when Khrushchev was banging shoes and intimidating President John F. Kennedy in a first meeting in Vienna, the story is drastically different.
Its pathway to power is building new networks rather than disrupting old ones. Economists debate when the Chinese will have the world’s largest gross domestic product — perhaps toward the end of this decade — and whether they can meet their other two big national goals: building the world’s most powerful military and dominating the race for key technologies by 2049, the 100th anniversary of Mao’s revolution.

During an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," Wallace asked Mayorkas why reporters have not get gained access to CBP facilities, in particular during his recent trip to the border with a congressional delegation.
Mayorkas responded by citing concerns related to COVID-19, adding that the administration is "working on providing footage" of CBP facilities for news organizations.
Wallace countered that the more than yearlong pandemic amounted to an "excuse" for not allowing reporters inside, and stated that there had to be a safe way for a press pool reporter and camera crew to be granted access.
"We're working on providing access so that individuals can see what conditions inside a Border Patrol facility are like," Mayorkas told Wallace.
"Certainly, reporters can see Health and Human Services shelters where children are housed for longer periods of time," he added.
The DHS secretary's comments were mocked later on the show by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), who knocked Mayorkas for appearing, albeit virtually, on Wallace's program.
"It's rich that Secretary Mayorkas won't let press travel with him...but he will come on your show," Cotton said.
Mayorkas faced similar questions during an interview Sunday on "Meet The Press," and called the assertion that Border Patrol agents were under a gag order "unequivocally false."
"Let's be clear here. We are in the midst of a pandemic. We are, because of the extraordinary leadership of the president, climbing out of it more rapidly than ever before. But we are still in the midst of the pandemic," he said on NBC.
