A man in Glastonbury, CT freaked out over seeing another man legally open-carrying in a bank, and got himself arrested:
Robert Gursky, 50, of Cavan Lane, was in the bank transacting business when he saw a person with a handgun. The person he saw was legally carrying the firearm and had no ill intent, police said.
Gursky, however, was concerned and tried to convey what he saw to a bank teller.
Gursky assumed that a man carrying a gun in a holster was a criminal, and thought that the most intelligent way to handle it was to pass a note to a bank teller that simply said, “gun.”

His first court appearance is September 25.
