2 Students Shot Inside Philadelphia High School, Person In Custody Police are actively looking for the shooter, but school is secure By Vince Lattanzio Friday, Jan 17, 2014
Two students have been shot inside a Philadelphia high school and police now say a person has been taken into custody for the shooting.
Philadelphia Police say the shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. at the Delaware Valley Charter School at 5201 Old York Road in the Olney section of the city.
Philadelphia Police Lt. John Stanford says two 15-year-old students -- a boy and a girl -- were hit once in the arm in the shooting, which took place near the gymnasium.
Another male teen, who may or may not go to the high school, pulled a gun and either intentionally or unintentionally fired the handgun.
"Everything has been captured on video," Stanford said.
