Megyn Kelly went off on a guest on Tuesday who supports the #BlackLivesMatter movement, wondering why liberals rallied against the Tea Party movement but support Black Lives Matter.
“I don’t think we’re watching the same Black Lives Matter movement,” commentator Richard Fowler told the Fox News anchor.
“Please stop,” a screaming Kelly said. “Why are they not outraged now…why the double standard?” Kelly asked about the movement.
“Why where so many on the left so quick to tie a few comments made by alleged Tea Party members to the entire Tea Party?” Kelly, shouting at this point, asked.
Fowler countered by saying there’s no evidence that the shooter of the Texas deputy was tied to the Black Lives Matter movement or that the movement against police violence is anything but peaceful.
Kelly tried to get Fowler to denounce the actions of Black Lives Matter members chanting “pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon,” but he declined to do so.
Fox News is covering the Black Lives Matter movement at length, mostly in a negative light. The network is currently focused on the violent murders of two police officers over the last few days, suggesting there’s a “war on cops” in America.
