Conservative commentator Ann Coulter took to Twitter Friday night to decry "Muslim immigration" and push Donald Trump's 2016 campaign in the hours after the string of attacks in Paris that left more than 127 dead.
Coulter, a Fox News contributor well known for her internet diatribes against Muslims, Jews, and Mexican immigrants, said the tragedy all but ensured Americans would elect Trump the next President strong stance on immigration.
They can wait if they like until next November for the actual balloting, but Donald Trump was elected president tonight. — Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) November 14, 2015Why does NO ONE say the obvious thing on TV?! It's insane. Don't want terrorism in US? Stop importing Muslims! — Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) November 14, 2015Paris death toll up to 100. U.S. college students need to tell Parisians about real violence from Halloween costumes & "trigger words." — Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) November 14, 2015HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? French people ran onto the street with signs that said, 'Je Suis Charlie'! Why didn't that stop this? — Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) November 14, 2015She also used the opportunity to take shots at other Republican presidential candidates' records on immigration, including former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's heavily criticized remarks that entering the country illegally can be an "act of love" to keep families together.

The pundit also parroted the frequent argument by conservatives after violent tragedies that the carnage may have been avoided if the victims had been armed.
