In the past, Democrats have shied away from calling for more gun control – mainly because most Americans oppose it. But not this year. As James Kirchick of The Daily Beast points out, calling for gun control – including confiscation – is not a talking point among the candidates, and some of them are competing with each other to be the most anti-Second Amendment.
Democrats do want your guns. When asked what can be done about gun violence in America, they point to Australia’s 1996 gun laws, which were hereto unfathomable in the United States.
