With all the debate over Hilary Clinton’ email scandal, is it no wonder the press in smaller areas is done with it? In Pennsylvania, the focus has changed from presidential candidate Clinton to their Attorney General, Kathleen Kane. They had no idea what was coming when they began to demand she resign from her position.
The demands all began when she began to look into why Jerry Sandusky was waiting three years for a sexual abuse charge. While politics were concluded to not be involved, she had dug up something much worse in her investigation: raunchy emails that were crude, offensive, and inappropriate that had been sent and received by many top officials in the state. Her slogan given to her by the public press is that if she’s going down, she’s taking this ring of raunchy, ugly email senders with her – or as many as she can
She began to release these emails in 2014 as the bitter feud with those who Investigated Sandusky’s case to begin with got even worse. The emails she has leaked reveal that many officials were involved. Her latest blow dropped a large bombshell that no one had seen coming: a Supreme Court justice, US attorneys, and attorneys general were all involved in this inappropriate email ring. She seems to be remaining defiant under the scrutinizing eye of the public, which is demanding that she resigns for exposing this and investigating the Sandusky case’s lag. Even Governor Tom Wolf is calling for her to resign, but that won’t stop her from taking everyone she can with her.
