Keith Ellison is the favorite to become the DNC Chair. The Minnesota representative has a long and controversial history. He has in the past supported reparations for slavery, the establishment of a segregated ethnic state, and the notion that 9/11 was an inside job. He was a close associate and admirer of Louis Farrakhan, the anti-white, anti-semitic leader of the Nation of Islam. He only renounced those ties when they became politically inconvenient, and he lied about them.

So in short: the future head of the DNC is a racist conspiracy theorist. And now, he's got an admirer: The former head of the KKK, David Duke. As World Net Daily reports:

David Duke wants the world to know that he supports Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison’s attempt to become the next chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
The former leader of the Ku Klux Klan likely complicated Mr. Ellison’s professional goals Monday by backing his efforts while alluding to claims by critics that he is anti-Semitic.
“Keith Ellison, Sally Boynton Brown or Jehmu Greene would all be excellent choices — I really like Keith though… I mean, at least he knows,” Mr. Duke tweeted.

How many future Democratic leaders have the support of both Chuck Schumer AND David Duke? Pretty wild if you ask us.
