Sometimes the Living God allows bad things to happen. Unfair, untrue, unworthy things. Sometimes. The best example of that is the cross of Calvary.
At the end of the day we are no better than our people before us. They watched their lives, their children's lives, their future, their civilization, their hopes and their dreams come crashing down around them. They staked everything they had down to the blood in their veins to preserve what the Founders left us.

THEY WERE NOT WR...ONG in fighting the tyranny of greedy control-freaks. They lost everything. Only the very ill-informed, the stupid and the agenda-driven say it was over slavery. Blow those off. They are not worth the time you spend arguing with them, and if, IF they happen to have Confederate blood, they are not worth the blood in their veins. They are the willingly ignorant and the intellectually lazy. Their stupidity is evident to all. Everybody knows in this age of digitization that is a lie. Our people dealt with the vile, filthy home yankees too. We are no better than them.
There are many battles in a war. This is a big one, no doubt, but it is not the end. It is the beginning. Don't give up and don't stop. Your people didn't. They suffered more than we will, and more than we realize. They kept going. They crawled into position to fight because they were too emaciated to stand, and they marched without shoes leaving bloody tracks in the snow. Why should the battle be any different for us?
Most of all, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY! Again, look to the cross. When they thought it was all over, He walked out of the grave in 3 days alive, ALIVE.
Sometimes it's not over when we think it is. Sometimes.......
DEO VINDICE!
