This video is intense and is generating a lot of activist outrage, but now the chief has responded with a different take on what happened.

The video shows protesters surrounding the cruiser, chanting; then you can hear the officer rev the engine a few times before hitting the gas and taking off. The video was shot by Michigan resident Ethan Ketner.
