DeSantis vs. Disney as Florida governor strips its self-governing status   WPLG Local 10


Gov. Ron DeSantis on Friday signed into law a bill revoking the Walt Disney Company's special district status in the state that has been in place for more than five decades.

Many years ago I read where at both D-World and D-Land, if you call 911 for an emergency, the call didn't go to 911 PD - that it first went to a Disney call center who then determined if the emergency was worth forwarding to PD. And I thought, What the Heck?!?? I tried to search for that info recently and couldn't find anything on it. Does this ring a bell with you at all Pappy?

When my children were young, I never took them to Disney so I had no reason to look into anything pertaining to Disney...As my wife puts it we only took historical / hysterical vacations So...No Disney..!
