AND...Where did they come from? Small drones can't travel too far of a distance

'Sinister' mystery drones over US bases as expert sounds the alarm in stern warning

The Mirror US Story by Michael Moran

A leading expert has sounded the alarm over the recent surge in drone activity above NATO's nuclear airbases in the UK, labeling it as "particularly sinister."

In the past year, multiple US military airbases have been infiltrated by unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), sparking widespread concern. The strange occurrences began with a swarm of mysterious drone-like objects spotted over Langley Air Force Base in Virginia during Christmas 2023.

Since then, dozens of sightings have been reported over bases in both the US and the UK, reaching a peak this month. While some are speculating about an alien invasion, particularly given the nuclear nature of the targeted sites, there's a more plausible and much more worrying explanation.

According to Professor David Dunn, a lecturer in political science and international studies at the University of Birmingham, the most likely cause of these UAP sightings is the deliberate deployment of drones by a hostile nation. Their goal would be to expose the vulnerability of NATO bases and intimidate service personnel, raising significant security concerns.

In a conversation with science filmmaker Simon Holland about the nightly drone flights over NATO bases, he expressed: "It's disruptive first of all it's demonstrating and signaling vulnerability and capability and it's also about preparation and signaling that preparation. In particular, he says, the drones are not only hovering over aircraft on the ground at these bases, they've also being seen lurking near servicemen's married quarters.

He further added: "This is not just one or two drones like in Gatwick airport a few years ago. This is a coordinated incursion by a whole variety of different drones that are clearly part of a plan by a sophisticated actor", reports the Mirror.
