Hackers claiming to be with the militant group Islamic State took control of U.S. Central Command’s Twitter feed and YouTube channel Monday, posting threats to servicemembers and contact information of military staff and retired brass. The White House confirmed the death of 26-year-old American aid worker Kayla Jean Mueller on Tuesday, and reaction to the news online was swift and strident.
Angela Ricketts, the wife of an Army officer in Colorado, was startled by the message that popped up on her Facebook account last week.
“Dear Angela! Bloody Valentines Day!” the message began. “While your president and your husband are killing our brothers in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan we’re coming for you.”
It went on: “We know everything about you, your husband and your children and we are much closer than you can imagine. You’ll see no mercy infidel!”
The message was sent from an account called “CyberCaliphate.” It claimed to be on behalf of “IS,” or Islamic State — also known as ISIS or ISIL.
“I’d be lying if I said it didn’t frighten me,” Ricketts said. “It had my full name and was very specific.”

Another Victory for Muslims: Writing about Bacon Now Forbidden at This Popular University Steve Thompson
Not long ago, it was reported KFC had to remove moist towelettes from their stores because it was against the traditions of Islam to consume alcohol.
The KFC in question was in the UK, and it's out of that same country where another demonstrably idiotic policy is taking effect.

Bostonians look for fun ways to deal with aggravating snow storms
Boston residents are thinking up creative ways to battle cabin fever, as snow continues to accumulate throughout the city.
The city recorded 0.4 inches early Thursday morning, just after midnight, raising the season total thus far to 96.7 inches, according to the National Weather Service. This new figure surpasses the 1993-94 total moving this winter into second place for snowfall in one season ever.
Julius Gloeckner, originally from Germany, took advantage of the three feet of snow covering his backyard in of Cambridge, Mass., by going for a swim. He was not able to swim very far in the snow, so he just went through the motions in place. See the video of Gloeckner above.
Still, it was bold of Gloeckner, who had been an All-American swimmer for Louisiana State University for four years, to foray into the wintry chill with nothing on except for a speedo, swimming goggles, and a swim cap.
Gloeckner and his fiancée, Emily Weil, were stuck at home but they decided the the crummy weather was not going to get the best of them.
But, like the skier, not everyone is letting the snow get them down.

Why does the government consider this grandmother public enemy No. 1? By Todd StarnesFebruary 19, 2015 FoxNews.com
Stutzman is a grandmother, a devout Southern Baptist and the owner of a small flower shop. The 70-year-old Christian is also opposed to gay marriage — a religious belief that could cost Stutzman her business, her life-savings and even her home.
A Washington judge ruled Feb. 18 that Stutzman, the owner of Arlene’s Flowers, violated the law when she refused to provide flowers to a same-sex couple for their wedding.
“If you disagree with the state - then you’re out of business,” she told me in an exclusive interview. “As a business owner, it’s really frightening that they can rule that everything I have will be lost because of my disagreement with a stand.”

Rudy Giuliani: 'I Do Not Believe That The President Loves America'
Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani questioned whether or not President Barack Obama "loves America" during a private dinner on Wednesday, alleging that the president "wasn't brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country."
The comments, reported by POLITICO, came at a dinner at Manhattan's 21 Club attended by conservative business executives and media figures. Audience members included 2016 hopeful Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
"I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America," Giuliani reportedly told the group. "He doesn't love you. And he doesn't love me. He wasn't brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country."
Appearing on Fox Thursday morning, Giuliani added that he was not questioning the president's patriotism but simply noting that Obama criticizes America much more than his predecessors.
Giuliani has made headlines in recent months for questioning the president's comments about Israel, ISIS, and racial tensions involving police.

obama: Extremists Have "Legitimate Grievances"

As the White House kicks off day-two of a summit on combating generic violent extremism, President Obama has published an op-ed in the Los Angeles Times titled, "Our fight against violent extremism." While the administration has overtly refused to specifically name "Islamic" terror, the piece finally acknowledges (albeit inadvertently) the regular existence of violence inside Islam. Still, Islamic extremism isn't specifically named and won't be during the three-day conference at the White House this week.
Because of Amnesty, the IRS Will Now Perform a Special Favor for Illegals that Will Cost You Big Time
Just like like the God-awful Affordable Care Act, Obama’s Executive Order to give millions of illegals amnesty is packed full of hidden surprises.
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen only recently told Congress illegals would not be getting refunds. But in what seems to be an unexpected “change of mind,” he informed Congress the opposite is true.
It’s been revealed by the IRS illegals who are offered amnesty will be entitled to a refund… even though they didn’t pay taxes. For years illegals have robbed the taxpayers of tax money through special government programs for illegals, but now, because of Obama’s executive order, they’re going to be getting even more of your tax dollars.
All of this will happen when the illegal aliens are given new Social Security numbers as provided by the Obama administration.
You can be sure with this policy in effect there’s going to be yet another call for higher taxes to help cover the expense.
Koskinen said the President didn’t consult the IRS about the ripple effects of his amnesty policy.

What ISIS Really Wants
The Islamic State is no mere collection of
psychopaths. It is a religious group with carefully considered beliefs,
among them that it is a key agent of the coming apocalypse. Here’s what
that means for its strategy—and for how to stop it
The group seized Mosul, Iraq, last June, and already rules an area larger than the United Kingdom. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been its leader since May 2010, but until last summer, his most recent known appearance on film was a grainy mug shot from a stay in U.S. captivity at Camp Bucca during the occupation of Iraq. Then, on July 5 of last year, he stepped into the pulpit of the Great Mosque of al-Nuri in Mosul, to deliver a Ramadan sermon as the first caliph in generations—upgrading his resolution from grainy to high-definition, and his position from hunted guerrilla to commander of all Muslims. The inflow of jihadists that followed, from around the world, was unprecedented in its pace and volume, and is continuing.
