After former Ferguson, Mo., police officer Darren
Wilson was cleared of all criminal charges against Michael Brown in St.
Louis County and avoided civil rights charges by the U.S. Department of
Justice, the Justice Department is getting ready to file a lawsuit
against the Ferguson Police Department.

reported Wednesday the Justice Department, led by outgoing Attorney
General Eric Holder, will sue the Ferguson Police Department based on
patterns of “racially discriminatory tactics used by officers” unless
the department agrees to make substantial changes to their policies.
