A bear that was seen walking on his two hind legs in New Jersey was spotted again. Officials say "Pedals the Bear," who has turned into a social media sensation, appears to be healthy.
New Jersey wildlife officials say there's been a sighting of a bear that walks upright on its two hind legs, and has become a social media darling.
Fans of the bipedal bear nicknamed Pedals had grown concerned when the animal had not been seen for several weeks.
Pedals apparently has an injured leg or paw that doesn't allow it to walk comfortably on all fours, experts say.

California motorists got quite the surprise on Friday night — but it had nothing to do with Christmas.
Nikki Worden and her husband Dann Worden were traveling northbound along Interstate Highway 15, about 50 miles east of Los Angeles, when they saw a California Department of Transportation electronic warning sign that had apparently been hacked to display a political message.
“Inland Empire supports Donald Trump. Merry Xmas. Vote Donald Trump,” the sign read.
Nikki Worden said they were so surprised by what they saw that they took the next exit and went back just to capture it on video. She then posted the video on Facebook, where it has been viewed more than 400,000 times.
The sign was back to displaying its original message by Sunday, according to KABC-TV.
It was not clear who was responsible for the apparent hack.
The California Department of Transportation did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze on Monday.

Given that the National Rifle Association’s headquarters is located in Virginia, it was to be expected that the nation’s oldest civil rights organization wasn’t just going to sit around while Attorney General Mark Herring decided to set fire to the Constitution. As Katie wrote last week, the AG decided to unilaterally gut concealed carry reciprocity agreements with two dozen states. The AG probably hoped that the timing of the announcement–three days before Christmas–would allow this to slip under the radar. Nope. Second Amendment supporters are ever vigilant–and we vote. The NRA was quick to slam the decision, with Executive Director Chris Cox saying that this unilateral action is dangerous and puts people’s lives at risk.

VA GOP May Strip McAuliffe Of His Protective Detail Over Concealed Carry
Carpetbagging Clinton crony Terry McAuliffe is desperate to strip Virginians of their natural rights and make them dependent on big government.
Virginia’s radically anti-gun Governor and Attorney General were probably quite pleased with themselves when they spitefully severed concealed carry agreements with 25 states, including all but one of its neighbors.
They probably didn’t anticipate the backlash they’ve received, which includes calls to recall or impeach Attorney General Mark Herring, and pushes for legislation that will both strip elected officials of the ability to make such unilateral decisions, and get a little payback.
Herring’s announcement came three weeks before the start of the General Assembly session, which is controlled by Republicans. In November, a bill was filed that would require Virginia to recognize permits from other states. If approved, it would reverse Herring’s ruling.Carrico said he’ll address the issue come January.“A lot of the governor’s power is deferred to the General Assembly at that point and I’ll be getting with my collegues to circumvent everything this governor has done on this point,” he said. “I have a budget amendment that I’m looking at to take away his executive protection unit. If he’s so afraid of guns, then I’m not going to surround him with armed state policemen.”

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg, the man personally bankrolling an otherwise dying gun control movement in the United States, is constantly surrounded by armed bodyguards (mostly poached from the NYPD, as I understand it), and I know for a fact that Moms Demand propagandist Shannon Watts has armed bodyguards, as I’ve seen them up close. Most other gun control supporters have public or private security, and a surprising number of them have concealed carry permits of their own.

The Department of Homeland Security is set to conduct a series of massive deportation raids across the country starting in January. They’ll mostly be targeting families reportedly fleeing the rising violence in Central America that have crossed the border within the past year and have been ordered to leave by an immigration judge, according to the Washington Post:
