A 12-year-old girl from Odessa, Texas, has become a star within the hunting community after she reportedly shot and killed a mountain lion while standing just five yards away from it.
Alyssa Caldwell and her father, Joshua, had embarked on a hunting trip to New Mexico, where the preteen’s dad suspected he might help her take down a bull elk. Instead, as Joshua left his daughter for a few seconds to grab some shooting sticks they accidentally left behind, he says he heard a shot go off – and realized Alyssa had shot something much more dangerous, reports Lone Star Outdoor News.

“I asked if she had shot a bull?” Joshua said. “She told me she had shot a cat. He was only about five yards away from her. She thought quick. When I saw how close he was, I got emotional.”
Alyssa says she didn’t hear the mountain lion approaching and only realized he was there when she suddenly found herself face-to-face with the dangerous animal.
“I didn’t know exactly what it was but I knew it wasn’t a bobcat,” Alyssa said. “I raised my gun when he crouched down.”
With one shot to the head, Alyssa reportedly killed the mountain lion on the spot.
“I knew it was stalking me,” she said. “I had a feeling right before that something was watching me. After I shot, I kept the gun on it the whole time. Dad ran back and he thought I had shot an elk. I told him I had shot a cat and he got real emotional.”
Alyssa wasn’t allowed to keep the cat as a souvenir because it is considered a varmint and game wardens had to confiscate it. Two days later, however, the young hunter actually shot and killed a 6x4 elk at 375 yards -- which she has kept as a trophy.

OBAMA HAS BEGUN ROUNDING UP POLITICAL OPPONENTS ?
Faced with a no-win situation, Arpaio chose honor his fiduciary responsibility and to do his best to keep the people of his county safe by continuing to rely on the existing federal laws to form the basis of his orders to his deputies. The people of Maricopa Country have shown their appreciation for Arpaio by voting for him to be their sheriff uninterrupted since 1993.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been fighting to maintain law and order in the Mexican border-crossing region of Maricopa County, Arizona. To protect the citizens who elected him Arpaio has relied on enforcing existing federal immigration laws.
Because of his stand in defense of federal immigration laws, Arpaio became known as Sheriff Joe and America’s sheriff.
However, while President Obama doesn’t like these federal laws he realizes it would be political suicide to try to get Congress to amend them. Instead he’s issued a stand down order on enforcing those laws in order to advance the influx of Mexican “dreamers” because of their tendency to become Democrat voters.
Things have gotten so dangerous in southern Maricopa Country that warning signs have been posted for people who are entering that area:
Arpaio also became a supporter of Donald Trump and his plan for real border security. Arpaio had heard the lip service that every other politician has been paying to the real-life problems of the local residents caused by those illegally entering southern Arizona for more than a decade and dismissed the other candidates as offering more of the same.
None of this has sat well with President Obama who has become increasingly dick-tatorial since he took office. And, now Obama has removed any question that he is a dictator by demanding his corrupt DOJ arrest a popularly elected sheriff who is enforcing laws that run counter to Obama’s personal agenda.
This is tyranny on its face and cannot go unchallenged. If we are to remain a country where the will of the people is honored then the rule of law must apply to every law and to every person no matter how powerful that person may be.
Arpaio is being prosecuted by the government for adhering to the laws of that same government simply because the most powerful man in the world has decided he doesn’t like those laws. Or, could it be because Arpaio’s support of Donald Trump doesn’t meet with Obama’s approval.
Either way, the purge of those who do not fall in line with the policies of this administration has begun.

Stung at the hostile tone of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s efforts to cast Russia as America’s greatest enemy, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he won’t let Clinton become a global bully.“Jeopardizing Russian-American relations in order to gain brownie points internally – I consider this to be harmful and counterproductive,” Putin recently told reporters in Russia in a video.
“It’s not funny anymore. If somebody out there wants confrontation. This is not our choice but this means that there will be problems,”
” Putin warned.” … we consider it wrong, that we always have to be in conflict with one another, creating existential threats for each other and for the whole world,” he said.
Putin questioned whether Clinton’s talk was genuine or for show.“Would Mrs. Clinton delivers on her threats and harsh rhetoric against Russia if she became President? Or will she correct her position against us?” he said.
Putin accused Clinton of trying “to distract voters from the country’s problems” by blaming Russia and Iran for the nation’s ills.
Putin made it clear who he would prefer to see win the election.
“Mrs. Clinton has chosen to take up a very aggressive stance against our country, against Russia. Mr. Trump, on the other hand, calls for cooperation – at least when it comes to the international fight against terrorism,” Putin said.
“Naturally we welcome those who would like to cooperate with us,” Putin noted
Clinton’s tough line against Russia in the campaign is far different than her tone in speeches she gave to Goldman Sachs in 2013, according to transcripts shared by WikiLeaks. In those speeches, she said Russia posed no threat to the U.S.
Consultant Mandy Grunwald noted that Clinton’s campaign could be damaged by “a ton of foreign policy stuff” in the speeches, “including some naive sounding comments about Putin — that could cause a whole separate set of issues — but Jake should review all that.”
“Certainly he’s asserted himself in a way now that is going to take some management on our side, but obviously we would very much like to have a positive relationship with Russia and we would like to see Putin be less defensive toward a relationship with the United States so that we could work together on some issues,” Clinton is quoted in the transcripts as saying, later adding, “That’s what diplomacy is all about.”

Donald Trump has said he would “love” to fight Joe Biden, after the Vice President suggested last week that he would rough up the Republican nominee.
“Did you see where Biden wants to take me to the back of the barn? Me. He wants to. I’d love that. I’d love that. Mr. Tough Guy,” Trump told supporters at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum on Tuesday, according to Politico.
While campaigning for Hillary Clinton on Friday, Biden suggested he would take Trump “behind the gym” if given the chance. “The press always asks me: Don’t I wish I were debating him?” Biden said in Pennsylvania last week. ”No, I wish I were in high school, I could take him behind the gym. That’s what I wish.”
Biden clarified the remark on Monday during an appearance in Toledo, Ohio. “If I were in high school … I want to make it clear I understand what assault is. I’m not in high school. If I were in high school,” Biden said before punching one fist into the other palm, according to CNN.
Trump responded Tuesday by saying if it were him that made the same remarks, he would have faced harsher criticism. “If I said that, they’d say: ‘He’s violent. How could he have done that,’” he said.
