Hundreds of angry residents took to the streets of downtown Tijuana on Sunday to protest the caravan of Central American migrants that has been streaming into the city in recent weeks.

Carrying Mexican flags and singing the national anthem, the demonstrators marched to a sports complex where about 2,000 of the migrants are being housed. There, held back by a wall of riot police, they denounced the mostly Honduran migrants as “criminals” and “freeloaders” who were openly flouting Mexican law.

“This is an invasion!” shouted local carpenter Luis Alexis Mendoza, according to the Los Angeles Times. “We demand respect. We demand that our laws be followed.”

As followers of “As the Acosta Turns” no doubt realize, last week’s plot line revolved around a judge restoring CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta’s press pass and saying the White House had to establish clear rules of decorum going forward.

So the White House did. And wouldn’t you know it, every single one of them is aimed directly at the grandstander himself.

“This afternoon we have notified Jim Acosta and CNN that his hard pass has been restored,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders wrote in a statement, according to CNBC.

“We have also notified him of certain rules that will govern White House press conferences going forward.”

So, what were they? Well, they are, shall we say, Acosta-centric.

They’re also very short:

1) A journalist called upon to ask a question will ask a single question and then will yield the floor to other journalists;

2) At the discretion of the President or other White House official taking questions, a follow-up question or questions may be permitted; and where a follow up has been allowed and asked, the questioner will then yield the floor;

3) ‘Yielding the floor’ includes, when applicable, physically surrendering the microphone to White House staff for use by the next questioner;

4) Failure to abide by any of rules (1)-(3) may result in suspension or revocation of the journalist’s hard pass.

Yes, America’s most famous politically active hair product addict has spoiled it for everyone. Happy, Jim?

“We have created these rules with a degree of regret,” Sanders wrote.

“For years, members of the White house press corps have attended countless press events with the President and other officials without engaging in the behavior Mr. Acosta displayed at the November 7, 2018 press conference.

“We would have greatly preferred to continue hosting White House press conference in reliance on a set of understood professional norms, and we believe the overwhelming majority of journalists covering the White House share that preference. But, given the position taken by CNN, we now feel obligated to replace previously shared practices with explicit rules.”

Sanders’ statement also noted that a “more elaborate and comprehensive set of rules might need to be devised” for open environs inside the White House and Air Force One as well as elsewhere. For right now, however, the list remains very Acosta-centric.

As it should. Acosta got his pass pulled for a reason. His behavior was profoundly obnoxious. It violated an unspoken set of norms that had more or less held up over the years, even with personalities that wanted to make the story about themselves.

Acosta is kind of a next-level version of this, a Helen Thomas for the digital age. More power to him, but when he’s refusing to give up the microphone because America needs to hear his rant about caravans without a question anywhere on the horizon, there’s a problem.

So, Acosta is still on notice. The great thing is that we might actually see him behave as a real White House correspondent should.

My guess is that he’s too afraid of losing that time on camera to actually risk breaking the rules and getting confined to some other Washington beat. Then again, Acosta’s gonna Acosta — and the soap opera is far from done, I think.

Let’s hope he doesn’t spoil it for everyone again on the way.

Hollywood veteran David Lynch, the famous creator of "Twin Peaks" and director of "The Elephant Man," made a shocking declaration about President Trump over the weekend — the kind of declaration that gets people blacklisted.

Speaking to The Guardian over the weekend, the director said that President Trump "could go down as one of the greatest presidents in history because he has disrupted the thing so much."

While David Lynch supported Bernie Sanders during the primary and voted for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson in the 2016 election, he admits that Trump may have been the right choice.

"I am not really a political person, but I really like the freedom to do what you want to do," Lynch said. "[Trump] could go down as one of the greatest presidents in history because he has disrupted the thing so much. No one is able to counter this guy in an intelligent way."

The homosexual migrants claimed the larger mob in the caravan discriminated against them.

So they broke off into a smaller mob.

“In this massive exodus, LGBT people have always been present,” the migrants and advocacy group Diversidad Sin Fronteras wrote in a statement. “As a community we have been organizing to support our needs and during our journey we have met and helped each other. We traveled together to care for each other, not only from the violence of the state and criminal organizations, but also from the violence from civilians migrating with us.”

But NPR reported that they did not reach America all on their own.

Radical homosexual activists in both Mexico and the United States funded their travel.

Maryland 'red flag' gun law brings in 114 gun removal requests in 1st month

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Data show Maryland's new "red flag" gun safety law drew more than 100 requests to remove firearms from individuals in the first month it went into effect.

The Baltimore Sun reported Friday that it obtained the state's figures through a public information request. The law drew 114 removal requests in October, and 36 were granted an order that guns could be taken and the people prohibited from buying or possessing others for up to one year.

Maryland was among eight states to pass "red flag" legislation after the shooting at a Florida high school that killed 17 people in February. It allows law enforcement, certain family members, intimate partners, mental health providers and others to request temporary removal of guns from those posing a danger of hurting people.

Late night shows enjoy making jokes about every misstep of people they do not like. Apparently, that is not true for liberals. Micahel Avenatti was arrested for felony domestic violence and the late night shows ignored it.

Late night hosts across the board chose to avoid the controversy surrounding high-profile attorney and potential 2020 candidate Michael Avenatti.

On Thursday evening, it was reported that Avenatti was arrested in Los Angeles for felony domestic violence. A woman, which was previously incorrectly reported as his estranged wife, was seen with a “swollen and bruised” face. The lawyer for Stormy Daniels has completely denied the abuse allegation made against him, making defiant remarks after being released from jail.

Avenatti's arrest took place on Wednesday evening, around the time most late-night shows are taped. However, the recent news surrounding Avenatti was not mentioned in the monologues given by Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon, or James Corden.

Both Colbert and Kimmel slammed President Donald Trump for his recent tweets attacking Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Trevor Noah mocked Trump’s recent bipartisan prison reform efforts as well as British Prime Minister Theresa May’s struggles to negotiate a Brexit plan. Seth Meyers dedicated his “Closer Look” segment on the Democrats’ takeover of the House as well as Trump’s seemingly deteriorating relationship with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The hypocrisy shown by the left is reaching new levels. It seems that it is now their policy to not talk about the negative actions of people on the left. 

So....obama still getting in Trumps way....Trump can't even PROTECT our country from foreign invasion without obama (in one way or another) interfering. It was my understanding Trumps' ban was temporary, because of the thousands of "immigrants" coming through Mexico from Honduras, which can only be called an invasion.

An Obama-Appointed Federal Judge Just Blocked Trump's Asylum Ban Tuesday, November 20, 2018

HOUSTON -- A federal judge barred the Trump administration from refusing asylum to immigrants who cross the southern border illegally.

President Donald Trump issued a proclamation on Nov. 9 that said anyone who crossed the southern border between official ports of entry would be ineligible for asylum. As the first of several caravans of migrants have started arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border, Trump said an asylum ban was necessary to stop what he's attacked as a national security threat.

But in his ruling Monday, U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar agreed with legal groups that immediately sued, arguing that U.S. immigration law clearly allows someone to seek asylum even if they enter the country between official ports of entry.

"Whatever the scope of the President's authority, he may not rewrite the immigration laws to impose a condition that Congress has expressly forbidden," said Tigar, a nominee of former President Barack Obama.

More than 6,000 people have signed an online petition calling on a Wisconsin school system to suspend students who appear to be giving a Nazi salute in a group photograph shot before their spring prom in May.

Administrator Lori Mueller of the Baraboo School District has said she is investigating the photo and will take appropriate action, but repeated efforts to speak with her a day after the photo was publicized Monday were not successful.

Regardless of any discipline from Baraboo High School, about 100 miles northwest of Milwaukee, the image could have far-reaching consequences for the young men pictured there, according to a university administrator.

"This could very well have an impact on their ability to get into college," said Stefanie Niles, vice president for enrollment and communications at Ohio Wesleyan University and president of the National Association for College Admission

Amending the U.S. Constitution to Protect our Republic

The time has come for a new Amendment to be added to the U.S. Constitution in order to protect our Republic from an unrecognized yet significant rising danger. If we don't do so (and soon), we may one day experience our own version of a Caesarean dictatorship. Ancient Rome was a republic as well...for centuries in fact...before the Caesars subverted it into a bloodline monarchy. As unlikely as this risk may seem in America today, our increasing political polarization may be foreshadowing something ominous. And if such did transpire, it would come with political assassinations and our own unique versions of Caligula, Nero, and Commodus.

We certainly don't want such a future for our children and grandchildren. By adopting a simple but profound preventative measure now, we can protect our Republic for centuries to come.
