STUDY Networks Trashed Trump
With 90% Negative Spin in 2018,
But Did It Matter?
At the midpoint of Donald Trump’s first term, the
establishment media’s obvious hostility shows no signs of
relenting: 90% negative, vs. just 10% positive, matching
the historically bad press we documented in 2017. But
polls show this negative coverage has had no discernible
impact on the public’s attitudes toward the President.
Instead, the media's partisan approach has earned them
high marks from Democrats, while alienating most
Republicans.
Once valid, the Democratic Party has become a cartoon version of its former self By Kelly - Jan 10, 2019
There was a time long, long ago in which the national Democratic Party actually stood for something. Real ideas. Not necessarily good ideas, but substantive ideas nonetheless. The Party was led by men and women who actually articulated substantive programs. John Kennedy formulated meaningful tax policies, and launched America’s conquest of the Moon. His successor, Lyndon Johnson, proposed and pushed through the Congress massive and far-reaching federal support programs that still are costing us today. During the 1970s and into the 80s there were Democratic Members of the Congress who articulated well-considered social policies for welfare recipients and working families; New York Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan comes to mind.
But no more. Today in the Democratic caucus, a substantive idea would land with an echoing thud on the floor and be quickly swept away; barely noticed amid the vitriol that consumes the nation’s senior national political party.
While Democrats nowadays prefer the moniker “Progressive” to “Liberal” as a descriptor for their Party and its members, there is nothing remotely progressive about this once proud political movement. Today’s Democratic Party has become not only a hollowed-out shell of its former incarnation, but as revealed in just the past four months, now is a cartoon version of what it used to be.
Whereas in decades past when the Democratic Party controlled the levers of power in the House or the Senate, leaders like Tip O’Neill would demand at least some level of decorum and decency from its membership. Today, neither Speaker Nancy Pelosi nor Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer dares to – or cares to – step in and insist on even a nominal degree of professionalism. In such an environment, it is then hardly surprising that another freshman Congresswoman proudly uses the foulest of language in public to describe the President of the United States and receives nary the slightest rebuke from Speaker Pelosi.

In what previous era in the real world, for example, would a Senator sitting on that body’s Judiciary Committee, label himself “Spartacus” after a movie character, when posing a question to a nominee to the Supreme Court of the United States? New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker did precisely that; with a straight face, nonetheless. In this Democratic Bizarro World, that very same Cory Booker is considered a serious contender for his Party’s 2020 nomination for President

Hey, Liberal Media, Remember When You Said There Was No Migrant Invasion Happening Matt Vespa Posted: Jan 17, 2019

So, it’s the 27th day of the shutdown — no movement on a deal for the border wall. And we shouldn’t expect one anytime soon. House Democrats aren’t playing ball with the Trump White House, though House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) said that a wall isn’t immoral if they keep people out. It’s a break from Speaker Pelosi recent rhetoric.
On the southern border, we have a crisis that most in the liberal media think is a figment of the Trump administration’s imagination. Two thousand inadmissible migrants arrive every day, ICE arrested 266,000 criminal aliens, and 20,000 migrant children were smuggled into the country last month alone. And now, we have another migrant horde setting off from Honduras. This sounds like an invasion, right?
On the Hill, illegal immigration remains the root cause for the shutdown. I’m sensing this new caravan will provide Trump with some needed ammunition to pressure Democrats on the need for border security. In the meantime, Pelosi is trying to scuttle the State of the Union address because the government is shut down and due to security concerns. The Secret Service fact-checked her on the latter, stating they’re prepared to handle any situation and keep the president and the VIPs at the address safe. She’s just being her usual nutty, prickly, and insufferable self. It also doesn’t help that Democrats were partying it up in Puerto Rico during the shutdown, which shows that they couldn’t care less about re-opening the government.
And last, we have a roving band of anti-Semitic congresswomen, all of them Democrats. In 2012, now-Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) tweeted, “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.” Today, she contested why this was offensive, and that she doesn’t see how Jewish Americans would be offended. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who made headlines when she said that they were going to impeach Trump, albeit with more colorful language, is a supporter of the viciously anti-Israel Boycott, Disinvestment, and Sanctions movement, which even liberal academia said was off the rails.
How to explain the Second Amendment to the ignorant, ill-informed and volitionally stupid.

We have a Constitution for a reason. It’s to protect the rights of ‘The People’ – a clearly expressed concept referred to in the First, Second and Fourth Amendments. No, the Founding Fathers were not talking about a National Guard, and no they were not limiting ownership to muskets.
Watch this. Share it from our Facebook page. Email it to your young friends and family – and any aging hippies who smoked their way through Civics. All the number-inflated marches in the world can’t change it. We literally do need an Act of Congress. In fact we need a Conditional Amendment.
Is Gun Ownership a Right?
What does the Second Amendment say? Is gun ownership a right for all Americans? Or just for a small militia? Eugene Volokh, Professor of Law at UCLA, explains what the Founding Fathers intended

Most people have probably seen this already, but it gives me pleasure posting it because... I'm still waiting for my FIRST "white privilege moment.....
CNN Analyst's Interview Goes Bad When She Accuses Black Fox Host of 'White Privilege'
This is what happens when you're guided by racial rhetoric and race baiting instead of common sense -- you end up looking really, really bad.
Martin and Webb were having a discussion on Webb’s radio show Tuesday about what makes someone qualified for certain jobs.
Webb explained that when applying for jobs, he considered relevant experience more important than his skin color.
“How do I have the privilege of white privilege?” Webb asked.
“David, by virtue of being a white male you have white privilege,” Martin said.
Then Webb cleared up Martin’s awkward assumption.
“Areva, I hate to break it to you, but you should’ve been better prepped. I’m black,” Webb said.
“I stand corrected,” Martin said.
The CNN analyst silently listened for the next few moments while Webb slammed her for making “insulting” assumptions about him.
“You come with this assumption and go with white privilege, that’s actually insulting,” Webb said.
Martin attempted to apologize, but it’s hard to get past such an offensive accusation.
“The whole white privilege thing is insulting,” Webb reiterated.
Martin apologized for her mistake, but unfortunately, she never adequately explained her point about “white privilege.”
If Martin believed Webb received his position in Fox News because he was “white,” I wonder how she would explain how he got the position after finding out he’s black.
Most people I know, do not want federally funded abortions in the U.S....So they certainly wouldn't approve of the U.S. paying for them (abortions) in other countries....ABSOLUTELY NOT...!!!
Pelosi Passes Bill To Fund Worldwide Abortions, Still Won’t Pass $1 To Help Build Border Wall Lawrence Richard
January 7, 2019
Check it out, via Life News:
In a vote late tonight, House Democrats passed a bill attempting to end the partial government shutdown that also funds the Planned Parenthood abortion giant. The vote on the bill came just hours after Democrats took over the House and installed abortion activist Nancy Pelosi as Speaker.
Democrats want to restore the $100 million President Donald Trump took away from Planned Parenthood when he defunded its International arm during his first week in office. The Trump policy prohibits taxpayer funding to international groups that promote and/or provide abortions overseas.
The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2019 repeals President Trump’s Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance policy, which stops U.S. taxpayer funding of the abortion industry overseas.
The House voted 241 to 190 for the bill with all Democrats voting for it and all but 7 Republicans voting against it.
There are no excuses for this, Republican Congressman Steve Scalise said during a presser at the Capitol.
Scalise said plainly, “You look at what bill they passed out of the House yesterday. They passed a bill to basically allow taxpayer money to go to foreign government entities to provide abortions but Nancy Pelosi wouldn’t allow taxpayer money to go to the Department of Homeland Security to keep this country safe.”
“I think that shows a clear difference in priorities and approaches to what President Trump wants to do to keep the country safe versus what Nancy Pelosi wants to do to ignore this problem and refuse to negotiate,” the Louisiana congressman continued.

The White House, speaking on behalf of Trump, said he would veto the bill; “If either H.R. 21 or H.J. Res. 1 were presented to the President, his advisors would recommend that he veto the bill,” the White House said, per Life News.
In the statement, the White House said their pro-life views clashed with the bill:
The Administration opposes passage of H.R. 21, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2019, providing appropriations for the fiscal year (FY) ending September 30, 2019, for the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Justice, Interior, State, Transportation, Treasury, and for other purposes. The Administration also opposes passage of H.J. Res. 1, providing appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through February 8, 2019, and for other purposes.
It includes $700 million more than requested for the United Nations, including restoring funding for the United Nations Population Fund. The bill would also undermine the President’s Mexico City Policy (Presidential Memorandum of January 23, 2017), which prohibits the funding of foreign nongovernmental organizations that promote or perform abortions.

Tantrums: Democrats Are Refusing to End the Shutdown by Boycotting Meetings at the White House Jan 15, 2019 Katie Pavlich
In an effort to make progress on the government shutdown, Trump invited Republican and Democrat lawmakers to attend with ideas. Not a single Democrat showed up. Their leaders, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, were also missing.
“As Senator Schumer and Speaker Pelosi refuse to negotiate, President Donald J. Trump and his team are working hard to find solutions to solve the humanitarian and national security crisis at the border and reopen the government. The President has a proposal on the table that includes additional technology at ports of entry, allows minors from Central America to seek asylum in their home country, and physical barriers between ports of entry made of steel instead of concrete," Press Secretary Sarah Sanders released in a statement. "Today, the President offered both Democrats and Republicans the chance to meet for lunch at the White House. Unfortunately, no Democrats will attend.

The FBI weaponized their investigative powers against a sitting President over ideological disagreements. That is not how democracy works.
Mueller Has To Answer For One Lie That Could Land Obama’s Entire Deep State In Jail

The FBI’s treason against the President is even uglier than anyone thought.
And now Robert Mueller has to answer for one lie that should land Barack Obama’s entire Deep State in jail.
The New York Times detonated a political nuclear bomb when they published a story that the FBI had opened a counterintelligence investigation to determine whether Donald Trump wittingly or unwittingly had been acting as a Russian agent when he fired FBI Director James Comey in May 2017.
To Trump supporters, this bombshell proved their worst fears true.
Times’ reporters Adam Goldman and Michael Schmidt reported that FBI leadership panicked over Trump claiming in an NBC interview that he fired Comey because of the Russia investigation and some of Trump’s foreign policy actions.
But this story flies in the face of previous reporting from last April which revealed that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein told Trump’s legal team that the President was not the target of the Mueller probe
If all of this sounds familiar it should, because these are the same heavy-handed tactics used against American citizens caught-up in the witch hunt being conducted against President Trump.
The Persecution Of Congressman Steve Stockman
By Richard A. Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
Steve Stockman is an old friend, a fellow limited government constitutional conservative, and the victim of a corrupt government vendetta.
As a principled limited government constitutional conservative, former Congressman Steve Stockman was a constant, and very public, critic of the oppressive government overreach of the Obama and Clinton administrations.
Now, at the hands of one of the attorneys involved in the Lois Lerner conspiracy against the Tea Party, he is facing 10 years in prison for charges three federal grand juries had previously refused to take up.
Steve Stockman's journey through the underbelly of the federal judicial system began when he filed a House Resolution demanding the arrest of Lois Lerner for contempt of Congress. Within two weeks of that constitutionally protected action the FBI was at then-Congressman Stockman's door and he became the subject of a three-year witch hunt.
It was not until the FBI used all their considerable resources to intimidate a former associate into pleading guilty and testifying against Steve that a fourth Grand Jury indicted him on charges that could have led to 283 years in prison.
And who was at the helm of this witch hunt?
Raymond N. Hulser, a career Justice Department official copied by Lois Lerner on emails arranging the undue scrutiny of the Tea Party and other conservative organizations.
But the three-year witch hunt that included going through Congressman Stockman's email and text messages, breaching his attorney-client privilege, surveilling him in Washington, DC, Houston and internationally, wiretapping his phone and having the TSA detain him and copy documents when he reentered the country was only the beginning.
Once he was arrested, in a continuing effort to intimidate and wear Stockman down, he was denied the insulin necessary to treat his diabetes and subjected to a constant barrage of political intimidation, including having the media tipped-off to the sealed indictment against him.
The indictment included a laundry list on specious charges, including alleged campaign finance violations never taken-up by the Federal Elections Commission, money laundering, fraud, conspiracy, and a host of other alleged violations for which there was little evidence and practically no defense against the allegations leveled by Stockman's former associate.
And Stockman's FBI persecutors weren't even subtle about the motivation for his oppression, saying (according to witnesses), "You know Lois Lerner is our former colleague," and taunting him with comments such as, "I hate the Wall," and "I'm from Jefferson County, my Dad was friends with Jack Brooks [the liberal Democrat Stockman defeated]."
Even though he will appeal his unfair conviction, today, Steve Stockman, the unyielding foe of government corruption and overreach sits in a federal prison unable to work or even help his wife Patty raise the money necessary to pay for his appeal – and that's part of the corrupt strategy being pursued by those who want to him out of public life – spend four years harassing the target and siphoning-off his resources, so that he his unable to defend himself.
Steve Stockman is an old friend, a fellow limited government constitutional conservative, and the victim of a corrupt government vendetta.
