We have a Constitution for a reason. It’s to protect the rights of ‘The People’ – a clearly expressed concept referred to in the First, Second and Fourth Amendments. No, the Founding Fathers were not talking about a National Guard, and no they were not limiting ownership to muskets.
Watch this. Share it from our Facebook page. Email it to your young friends and family – and any aging hippies who smoked their way through Civics. All the number-inflated marches in the world can’t change it. We literally do need an Act of Congress. In fact we need a Conditional Amendment.
Is Gun Ownership a Right?
What does the Second Amendment say? Is gun ownership a right for all Americans? Or just for a small militia? Eugene Volokh, Professor of Law at UCLA, explains what the Founding Fathers intended

While there are plenty of morons who don't understand the rationale behind the Second Amendment (the concept of inherent rights is beyond the intellectual capacity of many) the ugly reality is that the most vocal and the most powerful anti gun enemies of freedom know and understand clearly the reason for and true meaning of the Second (and all the others) Amendment. They JUST DON'T CARE. Our rights interfere with their lust for power and control. Therefore OUR RIGHTS MUST GO as far as they are concerned. The simple truth is that like Islam.....progressivism/socialist/communism (different names for the same evil) is totally incompatible with personal freedoms or rights. This means that sooner or later those wishing to be free and exercise their rights must choose. Either we surrender and become slaves....or dead. Or we KILL EVERYONE ON THE LEFT (just as civilization must eradicate Islam if it wishes to survive). An ugly brutal fact...but a fact none the less. Neither of those groups wish to coexist peacefully
with conservatives therefore they won't.
