Massachusetts judge, court officer charged for obstructing ICE arrest
BOSTON – A Massachusetts State Court Judge and Trial Court Officer were indicted today in federal court in Boston on obstruction of justice charges for preventing an U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer from taking custody of an alien defendant, it was announced by ICE leadership in Boston and the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts.
Shelley M. Richmond Joseph, 51, of Natick, who was appointed as a Massachusetts District Court Judge in November 2017, and Wesley MacGregor, 56, of Watertown, a former Trial Court Officer since 1993, were indicted on one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice and two counts of obstruction of justice – aiding and abetting. MacGregor was also charged with one count of perjury.
“When we as officers of the law are confronted with an abuse within our system, we take those allegations seriously. Any conduct which severs the underlying trust that the citizens of this Commonwealth place in those who hold positions of power and authority is a stain on all who swear an oath to protect and serve, with honor and integrity,” said Peter C. Fitzhugh, Special Agent in Charge, ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Boston. “The people of this country deserve nothing less than to know that their appointed and elected representatives are working on their behalf, while adhering to and enforcing the rule of law, not a personal agenda. The special agents of Homeland Security Investigations remain committed to upholding our promise to the public, without compromise.”
Former vice president and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden will attend a fundraiser at the home of an executive of Comcast, which owns NBC.
David Cohen, a senior executive vice president and the chief diversity officer for the company, will host a fundraiser at his Philadelphia home on Thursday, Common Dreams reports. The event will also include Democratic members of Congress and important donors.
Comcast owns NBCUniversal, which runs NBC, MSNBC, and other news networks.
Biden spoke with donors on Wednesday, according to Politico.
Former Vice President Joe Biden officially jumped in the Democratic race for president in 2020. He made the announcement in a video message he posted on Twitter.
"I believe history will look back on four years of this president and all he embraces as an abhorrent moment in time," Biden said.
"But if we give Donald Trump eight years in the White House, he will forever and fundamentally alter the character of this nation – who we are – and I cannot stand by and watch that happen."
Fox News’ Todd Starnes reports that a high school history book meant for Advanced Placement students that is used across the country portrays President Trump as mentally-ill and also depicts his supporters as racist.
The textbook is titled, “By the People: A History of the United States,” and is published by Pearson Education. The portion that trashes Trump and his supporters is the final section and reads more like a far-left blog than a history book.
It’s titled, “The Angry Election of 2016.”
“Most thought that Trump was too extreme a candidate to win the nomination, but his extremism, his anti-establishment rhetoric, and, some said, his not very hidden racism connected with a significant number of primary voters,” the textbook reads.
Remember, this is what’s being put in the minds of high school kids!
The textbook describes Trump supporters as “mostly older, often rural or suburban, and overwhelmingly white.”
“Clinton’s supporters feared that the election had been determined by people who were afraid of a rapidly developing ethnic diversity of the country, discomfort with their candidate’s gender and nostalgia for an earlier time in the nation’s history,” the book states. “They also worried about the mental stability of the president-elect and the anger that he and his supporters brought to the nation.”

In other words, Advanced Placement students are going to be taught that President Trump is mentally insane and his supporters are a bunch of irredeemable deplorables. Such descriptions would be laughable, but this garbage is being shoved into the minds of impressionable American teenagers. Some students, according to Starnes noticed the bias:
Tarra Snyder, a student at Minnesota’s Rosemount High School, told Fox News that she was “appalled” by the anti-Trump bias in the textbook.
“It was really, really surprising to me,” Snyder said. “I really believe that learning should be objective and that students can make their own decisions based on what they’re able to learn in a classroom, and if the facts are skewed then students aren’t able to make well-rounded decisions on what they believe.”
When Pearson Education was contacted about the book’s bias, a spokesperson said it had gone through “rigorous peer review to ensure academic integrity.” In other words, a bunch of liberal academics who hate Trump saw nothing wrong with putting out a “history” book that teaches kids to hate Trump.
Oh I see. Muslims were killed by a “white nationalist” in New Zealand. “Easter Worshippers” were killed by “militants” in Sri Lanka. I understand now.

President Trump Has A Dire Warning to Mexico
President Trump has put Mexico on notice over the illegal imprisonment of US forces on US soil by Mexican soldiers. Fox News reports:
President Trump on Wednesday warned Mexico after their soldiers reportedly drew guns on U.S. troops at the border last week, while also calling on America’s southern neighbor to do more to halt another north-bound migrant caravan.
“Mexico’s Soldiers recently pulled guns on our National Guard Soldiers, probably as a diversionary tactic for drug smugglers on the Border. Better not happen again! We are now sending ARMED SOLDIERS to the Border. Mexico is not doing nearly enough in apprehending & returning!” he tweeted.

The president’s tweets come after several Mexican military personnel reportedly questioned U.S Army soldiers who were on patrol duty near the border in Texas. Mexican soldiers reportedly pointed their weapons at U.S. troops during the encounter. The Mexican soldiers reportedly believed that the U.S. Army soldiers were on Mexican territory.
The president of the National Border Patrol Council, Brandon Judd, said over the weekend that “these things don’t just happen by accident.”
Arming soldiers on the border will be a first step, along with building more walls and increasing patrols. Mexico best clean up the corruption in its institutions if it wants to avoid a future confrontation that could result in massive loss of life on its side.

Kyle Lamb, who served in U.S. Army Special Operations, who put his thoughts to paperover at The Federalist. He was invited on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox News last night. Katie Pavlich has mentioned this on the Triggered Podcast: why is Omar so ungrateful? And on his show, Tucker asked the same question. Why does this woman, who fled Somalia and came to the U.S. at the public expense because we’re a nation who is compassionate towards real refugees, then dedicate her life to attacking it?
“Well, as they would say down here in Tennessee, bless her hear,” replied Lamb.
“We watched our friends get dragged through the streets by the people that she says are her people and we got to watch that on TV once we exfiltrated from the crash site where I was at and we got back to our hanger; that’s what we got to watch. So, yeah we take it personally when you attack us like that,” added Lamb.

I take special exception to Omar’s disgusting comments because I served in the Battle of Mogadishu, which was later portrayed in the movie “Black Hawk Down.” If you aren’t familiar with the real story behind “Black Hawk Down,” let me set the scene for you.
The purpose of American involvement in Somalia was to protect the peacekeepers tasked with the near-impossible mission of delivering vital food and medical supplies to the starving, war-torn population. As the aid grew, so did the opportunities for graft from warring clans who saw the humanitarian crisis as a way to cement their power throughout the country.
The Habar Gidir clan, one of the more powerful clans around Mogadishu, was led by the notorious warlord Mohammed Farah Aidid, who made the distribution of international aid to those who needed it nearly impossible. Instead of equitably spreading food and medical supplies, Aidid and his henchmen spread terror and death.
I am thankful Omar and her family and countless others were able to escape to neighboring Kenya while we fought to protect those left behind, but I simply cannot comprehend her attitude towards those of us who fought to protect her country and countrymen from warlords who plunged Somalia only further into violence and starvation. I am glad that Omar can now enjoy the very freedoms we fought to protect, like the freedom of speech and the free exercise of religion affirmed in the U.S. Constitution, but I don’t understand why she uses those freedoms to slur the men and women of the U.S. military who made her security and liberty a reality.
The simple truth is that Omar enjoys the fruits of American combat deaths, yet she can’t even bring herself to acknowledge the ultimate sacrifice that was made on her behalf, either as a Somali or an American. Her clan didn’t stand a chance against Aidid and Habar Gidirs, so I don’t blame her for leaving. But I do blame her for attacking those of us who had zero personal interest or investment in her nation for doing our jobs on behalf of our country. And I blame her for smearing American servicemen because we answered the call of our nation to address the violent barbarism of hers.
The people of the U.S. need to be VERY careful. There are 3 muslim members of congress now, who knows how many there will be after the 20/20 election....I'm guessing the Brits didn't realize what was happening until AFTER it happened. Want to be enlightened ? Read up on Dearborne Mi. and surrounding areas....WAKE UP AMERICA ! We can become the next England......
