An FBI official booted from the Russia investigation over anti-Trump texts reportedly exchanged quite a few texts with an FBI lawyer. Peter Strzok sent more than 50,000 messages to Lisa Page during and after the 2016 election. Attorney General Jeff Sessions made that announcement on Monday after it was revealed that the FBI failed to preserve five months worth of text messages between Strzok and Page. Strzok and and Page have been vilified for being critical of Donald Trump in their months-long text-message chain. Trump allies in Congress and in the media have sought to frame the controversy as evidence that the Russia probe is politically biased against Trump.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) informed the White House on Monday that his offer of $1.6 billion in border wall funding is off the table after President Trump rejected the deal last Friday during a meeting aimed at averting a government shutdown, Politico reports. “He called the White House yesterday and said it’s over,” said Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.).
Schumer had floated fully funding the wall in exchange for a deal to give Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients legal status, The New York Times reported, although Trump allegedly didn’t think the concessions were conservative enough. “In my heart, I thought we might have a deal tonight,” Schumer had claimed on the Senate floor.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) expressed doubts to Politico about what was negotiated in Schumer’s meeting with Trump, which took place over cheeseburgers. The Democrats “claim that some crazy deal was made,” Cotton said. “And then when we say no deal was made, they accuse Republicans and the president of reneging.”

Claim: Page and Strzok Referenced FBI 'Secret Society' that Met the Day After the Election By

There is serious talk on Capitol Hill about the appointment of a second special counsel amid several new bombshell revelations swirling around the Trump/Russia probe. First, there are the allegations of shocking and substantial government surveillance abuses under President Obama outlined in the FISA abuse memo. Secondly, the FBI lost five months of key text messages between the anti-Trump/pro-Clinton FBI officials Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page. And now there's talk of a "secret society" of officials within the FBI that apparently met the day after the election of Donald J. Trump to plot against the president-elect.
The thousands of texts @TGowdySC and I reviewed today revealed manifest bias among top FBI officials against @realDonaldTrump. The texts between Strzok and Page referenced a "secret society."
Top Republicans now believe there may be real grounds for a second special counsel, Fox News reported Monday evening.
Top FBI, DOJ Officials Use Drug-Cartel-Style Burner Phones to Dodge Federal Investigators, Lawmakers by Investigative Bureau
Members of the FBI and Justice Department’s top brass at their Washington D.C.headquarters and other field offices are now using burner phones to stay under the radar of federal investigators and lawmakers, according to FBI insiders.
The shocking revelations come on the heels of news that the FBI deleted thousands of text messages between anti-Trump FBI agents before investigators could review their content.
While that is disturbing on one level, FBI and DOJ hierarchy employing the telecom habits of drug cartel bosses reaches a new low for the once-heralded federal law enforcement agency and the DOJ. And breaks federal laws as well.
Intel points to top FBI and DOJ officials communicating via:
- Burner or disposable smart phones purchased with cash and charged with cash or money order
- Encrypted phone and web apps, including SIGNAL employed for anonymous texting
- Phones issued in the name of a spouse or family member, conceivably out of reach of federal subpoenas
Use of such telecom devices as part of official government business violates a host of federal laws, insiders said.

How convenient for this ANTIFA member to have a lawyer / governor / pres. VP candidate and senator as your father when being sentenced in court. I wouldn't even consider this a "slap on the wrist"
Former VP Candidate Tim Kaine’s Son Sentenced to Probation for Resisting Arrest After Anti-Trump Protest
By Petr Svab
Linwood Michael “Woody” Kaine, the youngest son of Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), was sentenced to a year of probation for resisting arrest after he participated in an anti-Trump protest that disrupted a Minnesota Trump rally in March. Sen. Kaine was Hillary Clinton’s running mate during the 2016 presidential election.
The Trump rally was held at the Minnesota state Capitol in St. Paul and attracted about 400 Trump supporters. It included a prayer and consisted mostly of people sitting or standing in the Capitol’s Rotunda and listening to speeches.
And they should be put in jail.... "They" need to know that LAWS are for everyone, not exempting those in Washington
Bombshell Memo Could Bring Serious Reform And Put People In Jail
With shutdown theater in high gear, some stories get buried. The government runs out of money at midnight tonight, but there was another story that was trending on social media last night. The House Intelligence Committee voted to release a four-page memo on FISA abuses that have disturbed lawmakers to their core. Some were saying the actions described were akin to the KGB. The vote to release the memo to all members was along party lines, and House Republicans seem adamant that the information should be released to the public. The consequences of these abuses have some members of Congress commenting that deep, structural changes could be coming to the Department of Justice and the FBI (via Fox News):
A four-page memo circulating in Congress that reveals alleged United States government surveillance abuses is being described by lawmakers as “shocking,” “troubling” and “alarming,” with one congressman likening the details to KGB activity in Russia.
Speaking with Fox News, the lawmakers said they could not yet discuss the contents of the memo they reviewed on Thursday after it was released to members by the House Intelligence Committee. But they say the memo should be immediately made public.
“It is so alarming the American people have to see this,” Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan said

THE SHUTDOWN....It was an entirely avoidable situation, but instead of steering away from the cliff, 49 senators chose to drive right off of it.
FROM: Slate.com the leftwing website comes a bitter announcement that the shutdown is over with a snarky headline:
The Government Shutdown Is Over and It May or May Not Be Because Democrats Folded Like a Cheap Suit
The (partial) government shutdown is over: Minutes ago, the majority of Senate Democrats voted for a three-week funding extension bill that includes a six-year extension of the Children’s Health Insurance Program, purportedly doing so in exchange for Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell’s promise to bring DACA legislation to the floor of the chamber for debate/voting no later than Feb. 8. (A substantial number of existing DACA protections for undocumented individuals brought to the U.S. as children begin expiring March 5.) That “promise,” to be clear, is not formally binding; Democrats’ leverage if he breaks it would ostensibly be to cause another shutdown. Whether or not this sort-of concession was worth the Democrats’ cooperation will no doubt be a subject of much discussion in the press and among progressives in coming days; observers have already noted that most of the few Dems who didn’t vote “yes” on the deal are either facing primary challenges from the left or are expected run for the party’s 2020 presidential nomination.

Jane Fonda Shades Megyn Kelly
HOW DOES THIS TRAITOROUS BITCH HAVE THE BALLS TO CRITICIZE ANYONE

Jane Fonda had some choice words for Megyn Kelly this weekend.
During a Q&A with Variety about her upcoming documentary at the Sundance Film Festival, Jane Fonda in Five Acts, the iconic actress discusses everything from equal pay for women in Hollywood, to Oprah running for president.
But when it came to her awkward interview last year on Megyn Kelly Today, where Kelly asked Fonda about her plastic surgery, the 80-year-old was ready to throw down some shade.
"It wasn’t like I was upset. I was stunned. It was so inappropriate," Fonda said of the seemingly uncomfortable question.
"It showed that she’s not that good an interviewer. But if she comes around and learns her stuff, sure," she added when asked if she would ever return to Kelly's show.

While I'm not a big pro football fan, I will say I'm very happy the Eagles won the division champs game against Minnesota. Philadelphia needs this....badly ! I did take note of remarks made by a few of the Vikings fans, see below
Minnesota Viking fans have CLASS...I have to wonder, would our Philadelphia Eagles fans be as gracious as these Minnesota fans are if the outcome of the game was reversed ?
