Oops: Nadler's Senate Tirade Had Opposite Effect on Key Swing Vote Senator   Cortney O'Brien @obrienc2 Posted: Jan 23, 2020

Sometimes when prosecutors appeal to jurors to do their duty, it works. Other times, it backfires. For impeachment manager Jerry Nadler, it went up in flames. It turns out his condemnation of the senators during the Trump impeachment trial didn't just earn him an admonition from Chief Justice John Roberts. It may have cost him a swing vote.

During his remarks in the Senate on Tuesday night, Nadler alleged that any senator who voted against a measure to allow additional witnesses was guilty of a White House "cover up." It was an incendiary and outrageous claim that was soundly rejected by the next man at the podium, White House counsel Pat Cipollone. Cipollone turned to Nadler and said that if "anyone" in that room should be "embarrassed," he should look in the mirror.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), one of the moderate Republicans that the Democrats desperately needed to not tick off, also left the Senate chamber fuming over Nadler's presentation.

Good luck getting her back in your good graces, chairman.

Other impeachment managers did a fine job of defeating themselves. The lead impeachment manager Adam Schiff kicked things off by canceling his argument when he suggested the Democrats have overwhelming proof that Trump is guilty...but they need more evidence.

This was before Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) confusingly explained to the room full of jurors that the House "did its job," but they still need to see and hear more evidence.

Texas Church Hero Responds to Bloomberg's Criticism   01/23/2020 Source: AAN by: AAN Staff

Had Americans' right to bear arms been restricted by a President Bloomberg, the carnage witnessed in the shooting at the West Freeway Church of Christ would have been "significantly greater," according to shooting hero Jack Wilson.

Appearing on Fox & Friends, Wilson explained that had he compiled with Bloomberg's wishes, no one could have stopped the gunman so quickly, and who at the time of his demise still had seven live rounds in his gun and three more in arms reach. (Fox News)

"Even though the White Settlement police department did arrive in roughly two minutes from the time the first call went it, by that time...the carnage would have been much, much worse," he said.

Wilson said that the church security team was aware of the shooter when he entered the building wearing a disguise, but "did not anticipate the events that would unfold thereafter."

Wilson, who had served as a reserve deputy sheriff, told the "Friends" hosts he doesn't consider himself just an "average guy" with a gun.

"You know, the team and I practice; we train. And, it's not something that we're just walking around with a gun on our hip," said Wilson. "We do practice, you know, for different scenarios."

Even before Bloomberg's presidential campaign began blanketing the airwaves, the former New York City mayor made gun control his most prominent issue.

As for what happened at the West Freeway Church of Christ on December 29, the accused sexual harasser (RELATED: White House Hopeful Michael Bloomberg Won't Free Accusers From NDAs) and presidential candidate said, "I wasn't there. I don't know the facts -- that somebody in the congregation had their own gun and killed the person who murdered two other people, but it's the job of law  enforcement to have guns and to decide when to shoot. You just do not  want the average citizen carrying a gun in a crowded place."

That's convenient when you have an armed security detail flanking you wherever you go.

NOTE...Most people know...Police can only clean up after the fact, unless they are there when the gunman first shoots, it takes at least 5-10 minutes for police to get to the scene.....TOO LATE..!!

If only we can be assured of this outcome.....

The Democrats don’t want a Witness Trade because Shifty Schiff, the Biden’s, the fake Whistleblower(& his lawyer), the second Whistleblower (who vanished after I released the Transcripts), the so-called “informer”, & many other Democrat disasters, would be a BIG problem for them!

Just Remember.... It happened in Virginia, your state may be NEXT....

Virginia Senate passes set of 3 gun bills
By Caleb Stewart ; Andrew Ringle, Capital News Service | Posted: Jan 17, 2020

RICHMOND, Va. (WHSV) — As debate raged across Virginia on Thursday over a State of Emergency declared by Gov. Ralph Northam, upheld in court, that bans weapons in Capitol Square during a planned gun rights rally, the Virginia Senate advanced a number of gun control bills that have been among top priorities for Democrats.

Earlier this week, the Senate Judiciary Committee made waves by
killing controversial Senate Bill 16, which would have re-defined and banned assault bills, while passing
several other gun bills.

On Thursday, the full Virginia Senate passed those bills as well.

The bills which have passed in the Senate

First i
s
SB 70, which would establish mandatory background checks for any transfer of firearms, including private sales.
That bill, amid the priorities outlined in Gov. Northam's agenda for the 2020 session, passed the Senate on 23-17 vote, with two Republicans joining Democrats to support it.

It exempts transfers between immediate family members and by estate administrators, as well as transfers during lawful activities at shooting ranges or similar spaces designed for target practice. It also exempts temporary transfers that occur while the owner is present or are necessary to prevent death or bodily harm. Additionally, it allows transfers of antique firearms, transfers that are part of a buy-back or give-back program and those that occur by operation of law.

Also passed by the full Senate were
SB 69 and SB 35.

Senate Bill 69 would institute a "one gun a month" law for Virginia limiting citizens to one handgun purchase within any 30-day period.

It exempts those with valid Virginia concealed handgun permits and those replacing a lost or stolen handgun, as well as law enforcement agencies, state and local correctional facilities, private security companies and those with special circumstances with a background check from Virginia State Police. It also exempts purchases made during a private sale for a personal collection of rare or historical items.

Virginia used to have a version of the same law, so it would essentially restore the commonwealth's previous rule. It passed on 21-19 vote along party lines.

Senate Bill 35 gives local governments the authority to ban the possession of firearms in public spaces during events which require a permit, like protests. It passed on a 21-19 party line vote as well.

Other bills and the future

To become law, each of these bills will also need pass the House of Delegates, then have any differences from the different chambers resolved and voted on, and then be signed into law by Gov. Ralph Northam, who has pledged to pass new gun laws since the Virginia Beach mass shooting last year.
Other proposed gun bills, including SB 240, which would establish "red flag laws" and was passed by the Senate Judiciary Committee, were passed by for the day on Thursday. SB 240 was passed by on Friday as well.

During the hearing, Sen. Amanda Chase, R-Chesterfield said she was concerned about SB 35. She said the measure will create gun-free zones and disarm law-abiding citizens.

Has Nadler Consigned Himself 'To The Condemnation Of History'?   Terry Jeffrey Posted: Jan 22, 2020

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler -- one of the impeachment managers prosecuting President Donald Trump -- believes perjury and obstruction of justice need not be impeachable offenses.

Or that is what Nadler claimed in 1998, when he was a dissenting minority member on a Judiciary Committee that approved four articles of impeachment against President Bill Clinton.

Clinton -- like Nadler -- was a Democrat.

The full House voted to approve two of the four articles against Clinton -- with five Democrats voting for each of the approved articles.

One article alleged Clinton committed perjury in a federal grand jury.

"The Committee concluded that, on August 17, 1998, the President provided perjurious, false, and misleading testimony to a Federal grand jury concerning the nature and details of his relationship with a subordinate government employee," said part of the committee's summary of that article.

The other article the House approved alleged Clinton obstructed justice.

This has nothing to do with anything....Just thought it interesting that we had Transylvania here in the United States.....

Transylvania     Historical Archives

Transylvania was a short-lived colony primarily in what is now the U.S. state of Kentucky. The colony was founded in 1775 by Richard Henderson of North Carolina, who purchased the land from the Cherokees. The most famous resident of Transylvania was the American pioneer Daniel Boone, who was hired by Henderson to establish the Wilderness Trail through the Cumberland Gap into central Kentucky, where he founded Boonesborough, the capital of the colony. Transylvania ceased to exist after 1776.

Chuck Schumer Has A Cow When Senate Impeachment Rules Don’t Favor The Biased House Circus!   By

As we reported earlier, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell released the trial schedule and rules for the impeachment trial and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer flipped out.

Senator McConnell’s proposed rules depart dramatically from the Clinton precedent – in ways that are designed to prevent the Senate and the American people from learning the full truth about President Trump’s actions that warranted his impeachment. The McConnell rules don’t even allow the simple basic step of admitting the House record into advice at the trial.

Under this resolution, Senator McConnell is saying he doesn’t want to hear any existing evidence, and he doesn’t want to hear any new evidence. A trial with no evidence – no existing record, no witnesses, no documents – isn’t a trial at all. It’s a cover up, and the American people will see it for exactly what it is.

Furthermore, Senator McConnell’s resolution stipulates that key facts be delivered in the wee hours of the night simply because he doesn’t want the American people to hear them. Any senator that votes for the McConnell resolution will be voting to hide information and evidence from the American people.

'We're clean and beautiful': Trump tells Greta Thunberg to save climate advice for other countries   John Gage

President Trump touted the environmental health of the United States while blasting teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

"We want to have the cleanest water on earth. We want to have the cleanest air on earth," the president said during a Wednesday news conference after he was asked about Thunberg. "Our numbers, as you saw, we had record numbers come out very recently. Our numbers are very, very good. Our environmental numbers, our water numbers, our numbers on air are tremendous."

"We're clean and beautiful," Trump added, but said things need to be done to clean up other countries. "You have another continent where the fumes are rising at levels that you can't believe. I mean, I think Greta ought to focus on those places."

Trump also said during the press conference that he "would have loved to have seen" Thunberg speak at the conference. He additionally mentioned that "she beat me out on Time magazine" in reference to her being recognized as the 2019 "Person of the Year."

On Tuesday, the president said at the conference that he did not know "anything about" the climate activist but called her a "very angry person." He has previously ripped her on social media, saying last month that she "must work on her anger management problem."

Why Impeachment

I've posted a lot of memes lately, some funny, some serious, but none as serious as this one. I don't know the answer, maybe some of you reading this will actually have a believable answer. This could be the most real and unanswered question to come up since the start of this "IMPEACHMENT" fiasco. (which is actually more than Three years) The only TRUE answer as to why the demorats are so "GUNG HO" to impeach is the fact that "THEY DON'T LIKE HIM" (TRUMP) And of course the Killary standby..."He wasn't supposed to win"

Joe Biden’s Brother Frank Linked to Projects Receiving $54,000,000 in Taxpayer Loans from the Obama Administration—Despite No Experience
Haris Alic

Frank Biden, the youngest brother of former Vice President Joe Biden, saw his business interests benefit from millions of dollars in taxpayer loans to Caribbean nations during the Obama years

The extensive overlap in Frank Biden’s dealings and Obama-Biden foreign policy in Central America is exposed in Peter Schweizer’s new book—Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite.
Frank Biden first set his sights on the region in 2009, as the Obama administration began to repair the U.S. relationship with Costa Rica. Tensions between the two countries flared under President George W. Bush, most notably on how to deal with drug trafficking.

When President Barack Obama entered the White House, he set out to mend fences in the region in hopes of inaugurating a new era of global cooperation. Leading the charge on that front was Joe Biden, who had long standing ties to the region from his tenure leading the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Shortly after the new administration took office, Frank Biden began scouting real estate opportunities in Costa Rica. A lawyer by training, Frank was undeterred by his lack of background in international development and decades old legal troubles at home.

Elizabeth Warren’s Son-in-Law Made Movie Funded By Iran’s Government            By Guest Author |

The son-in-law of 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has troubling ties to Iran’s government, according to a new book.

“Profiles in Corruption” by Peter Schweizer analyzes liberal leaders’ little-known links to various forms of corruption, in both the public and private sectors.

In his chapter on Elizabeth Warren, Schweizer looks at the business dealings of Warren’s son-in-law Sushil Tyagi. Tyagi is married to Warren’s daughter Amelia. He was born in India, then moved to the United States. He met Amelia when they were both attending Wharton Business School.

Warren is reportedly close to her son-in-law. Warren attended Tyagi’s brother’s wedding in India and wrote about the experience in her memoir.
