Obama Irate Over Ben Carsons Latest Comments On CNN

Dr. Ben Carson is a hopeful 2016 presidential candidate who appeared on CNN for an interview dealing with the recent outbreak of the measles virus. His views on the current controversy have seriously opposed President Obama’s notions on immigration.

Dr. Carson explained that in his opinion the outbreak is very likely caused by the rapid surge of illegal immigrants entering the United States without any repercussions. These immigrants, he claims, could be entering the country already infected with the live virus and likely without any medical precautions for catching and spreading the disease. In 2000, the United States had determined that measles had been eliminated. After the year 2000, however, between 37 and 200 people have reported suffering from the measles each year (http://www.wnd.com/2015/02/obama-blamed-for-u-s-medical-genocide/). Because of this, Dr. Carson explains President Obama’s lenient immigration practices should take the blame for the sweeping measles outbreak. Michael Savage, the talk-show host, went so far as to call what Obama has done “medical genocide.”

Dr. Carson additionally angered the anti-vaccination groups by explaining that the fact the disease is showing up in California is due in part because people in California are given the option of opting out of getting vaccines for diseases like the measles. He promoted his notion that vaccines are extremely important for the overall health of our nation. Though he didn’t outright push for mandating vaccinations, he did exclaim, “Isn’t this a perfect example of what happens when you don’t mandate it [vaccinations]?”

Prominent African-Americans from all walks of life have served as a bridge between the past and today, as well as a bridge to the future, Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James said here Feb. 6.
The Air Force served the host of the 10th annual Stars and Stripes recognition dinner, an event that recognizes top-performing African-American military and civilian leaders in the armed forces.
The dinner is held concurrently with the Black Engineer of the Year Award, or BEYA, STEM conference, now in its 29th year. STEM is shorthand for science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Drawing from Oprah Winfrey’s Role Models
Speaking before an audience of active and retired service members, as well as members of the defense contracting community and college students, James drew on a quote from television personality Oprah Winfrey, who once said her success has come from the stories of history-making African-American women she calls “bridges.”

Legislators Move to Make Vaccines Mandatory without Exemption
State and federal legislators are rethinking a parent’s right to choose not to vaccinate their children thanks to the national measles outbreak epicentered in Orange County.
As California’s measles toll reaches a 15-year high of 99, two state senators, including Sen. Ben Allen, D-Redondo Beach, said they plan to introduce legislation that would eliminate the ability of parents to receive a “personal belief” exemption from immunizing their children.
“The high number of unvaccinated students is jeopardizing public health not only in schools but in the broader community,” Allen said. “We need to take steps to keep our schools safe and our students healthy.”

A controlled detonation of recovered mustard shells near Taji, Iraq, on Aug. 17, 2008. John Paul Williams
The soldiers at the blast crater sensed something was wrong.

It was August 2008 near Taji, Iraq. They had just exploded a stack of old Iraqi artillery shells buried beside a murky lake. The blast, part of an effort to destroy munitions that could be used in makeshift bombs, uncovered more shells.

Two technicians assigned to dispose of munitions stepped into the hole. Lake water seeped in. One of them, Specialist Andrew T. Goldman, noticed a pungent odor, something, he said, he had never smelled before.

He lifted a shell. Oily paste oozed from a crack. “That doesn’t look like pond water,” said his team leader, Staff Sgt. Eric J. Duling.

The specialist swabbed the shell with chemical detection paper. It turned red — indicating sulfur mustard, the chemical warfare agent designed to burn a victim’s airway, skin and eyes.

All three men recall an awkward pause. Then Sergeant Duling gave an order: “Get the hell out.”

California firefighters save horse stuck in outdoor bathtub
ORANGEVALE, Calif. | Firefighters in Northern California rescued a horse that got stuck in an outdoor bathtub.
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District Capt. Michelle Eidam says the horse was dancing around in her stall to protect the bathtub used as her food trough when she suddenly fell in Wednesday.
The horse, named Phantom, was stuck in the bathtub for about 25 minutes with her feet up in the air. Her owner saw the horse fall and called the fire department.
Between firefighters and the owner's family, they were able to prop the bathtub on its side and pull Phantom forward onto her feet.Phantom, a Palomino/Appaloosa mix, was not injured.

obama Plays The Chicken To King Abdullah's Lion

John Nantz Feb 08, 2015

Mortifying. The only word that can be conjured to describe President obama’s mechanistic, inhuman response on Tuesday to Lieutenant Moaz al-Kasabeh’s murder by immolation. Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorists set Lt. Kasabeh, a U.S. allied pilot, afire inside a steel cage and watched him roast. Apparently, murdering people by sawing through their necks has become mundane. Judging by obama’s response to date, ISIS may be right.

obama’s latest quip in response to ISIS's act of Satanic barbarity was characteristically academic:
“…its just one more indication of the viciousness and barbarity of this organization. And it I think will redouble the vigilance and determination on the part of global coalition to make sure that they are degraded and ultimately defeated. It also indicates the degree to which whatever ideology they are operating off of, its bankrupt. Were here to talk about how to make people healthier and make their lives better. And this organization appears only interested in death and destruction.

From this lackluster recitation, one would imagine that obama was chiding a Fortune 500 company for forecasting a reduction in dividends instead of responding to an act of prehistoric, bestial barbarity—a direct, immanent, and existential threat to our national security from Islamist terrorism.

The Largest Airplane Ever Built

The Largest Airplane Ever Built antonov an-225 mriya (9)

The Antonov An-225 Mriya is a cargo aircraft that was designed by the Soviet Union’s Antonov Design Bureau in the 1980s. It is powered by six turbofan engines and is the longest and heaviest airplane ever built, with a maximum takeoff weight of 640 tonnes. It also has the largest wingspan of any aircraft in operational service. Only one An-225 was ever built and the behemoth transporter is still in service today.

The first and only An-225 was completed in 1988 after four years of construction. The An-225 first flew on 21 December 1988 with a 74-minute flight from Kiev. The Antonov An-225 was originally designed to airlift the Energia rocket’s boosters and the Buran space shuttle for the Soviet space program.
After successfully fulfilling its Soviet military missions, it was mothballed for eight years. It was then refurbished and re-introduced, and is in commercial operation with Antonov Airlines carrying oversized payloads. An increased-capacity landing gear system with 32 wheels was designed, some of which are steerable, enabling the aircraft to turn within a 60 m (200 ft) wide runway. [source]

Green Berets Offer Truth About The War In Afghanistan That obama Is Trying To Conceal
greenberetsoffertruth
Could president obama be wrong about America plausibly being out of Afghanistan by 2016? A group of Elite Army Green Berets certainly seems to think so!

While our armed forces are reported to only be in Afghanistan to provide support to the Afghan National Army – also known as ANA – some Green Berets are revealing the truth about how this is simply not the case. They claim that ANA tends to shy away during actual combat and are simply not capable of handling the intense turmoil of the region.
In fact, one officer has claimed that if American forces retreat, the ANA will “scatter like ashes in a [breeze.]”
More of the American civilian public are beginning to doubt what President obama has told them about our presence in Afghanistan and the entirety of the Middle East. While it’s easy for pundits on the news to speculate about what might be happening, no one knows the truth like our returning veterans who have actually fought in the region.
While our troops aren’t afraid to step into the line of fire, the ANA prefers to hide. Since the threat of the Taliban is very real, retreating by 2016 simply may no longer be an option. Perhaps president obama should quit listening to his non-military advisers and instead listen to these Green Berets who have actually seen Afghanistan with their own eyes.

TAKING DOWN ISIS? Kerry says US plan to crush terror group is working

SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY and a top White House official said Sunday that the administration’s strategy to defeat the Islamic State is working, following the purported deaths last week of two ISIS hostages and concerns about the U.S. needing to do more.

Kerry told NBC's "Meet the Press" that the U.S.-led coalition was "on the road" to defeating the Islamic extremist group, also known as ISIS or ISIL, in Iraq and Syria.

He argued that coalition forces have recaptured 22 percent of the populated areas that ISIS once held in the region “without launching what we would call a major offensive."

Retired Gen. John Allen, the White House special envoy on the Islamic State, told ABC’s “This Week” that the United States has accomplished its goal of devising a “comprehensive plan” and striking a “hard blow.”

“I believe they have actually,” said Allen, pointing to the northern Syria town of Kobani. Kurdish troops took control of the town several days ago after hundreds of coalition airstrikes on ISIS positions.

Kerry and Allen got some support for their argument from Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh.

What happens if Homeland Security shuts down?

Spending for the Department of Homeland Security hangs in the balance as Congress fights over immigration matters in the agency's annual funding bill. Without action by Feb. 27, the department's budget will shut off.
To hear Democrats and many Republicans tell it, the result would be unacceptable risks to U.S. security at a time of grave threats worldwide. In reality, though, most people will see little change if the department's money flow is halted, and some of the warnings of doom are as exaggerated as they are striking.
"There are ghoulish, grim predators out there who would love to kill us or do us harm," said Sen. Barbara Mikulski of Maryland, top Democrat on the Senate Appropriations Committee. "We should not be dillydallying and playing parliamentary pingpong with national security."
In the view of some House conservatives, though, shutting off the agency's $40 billion budget for a time "is obviously not the end of the world," as Rep. Matt Salmon, R-Ariz., put it, because many agency employees would stay at work through a shutdown.
